Dan and Marie were incredible hosts and ensured everything about the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Ozzie and Luna were fantastic to take care of and had a great routine that fit my work schedule. Ozzie is a very playful and friendly puppy who loves playing ball and walks while Luna is an affectionate cat who enjoys lots of pets and attention and to lay in your lap on a pillow. The house was amazing with a beautiful lake view with beautiful sunsets each night and a fireplace to stay warm in the winter. Overall I would definitely recommend this sit.
I had the best time staying at Alexane's (and Amber's) place in Porto Rafti! They were very kind and accommodating, took the time to show me and explain everything & were always quick to respond to my messages. The apartment was clean and tidy, I had everything I needed & it was close to some shops and the beach - I felt very safe and comfortable staying in that area. About the cats: at the time of my sit they had their own cats (Toulis, Tzatziki and Nefeli) as well as two rescue cats (Kanelos and the baby Katsu); they all required different levels of attention but were overall easy to take care of and after some time became very cuddly as well! Both the girls and the cats made my first trip to Greece amazing & I am grateful to have had the opportunity to sit for them. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone & hope I can do it again sometime in the future :)
Truly a wonderful pet sit. Seth and Suzy could not have done more to make me feel welcome and, as a Westie lover, Little Bear and Wizard, are delightful, funny and warm and just plain a lot of fun. Reston is one of the original planned cities in the US. It has all of the facilities to make a vacation enjoyable: Tennis courts nearby; a pool with a children's pool as well as a diving area about two blocks away; a bus linking the home with the metro across the street and the metro about one mile away-direct to the center of D.C.; and, we are across the street from a shopping center and popular restaurants. For me, it was delightful.
This was such an enjoyable catsit! Dalton is a loving and wonderful kitty, by turns mellow and playful -he is so dear and communicative! He is clearly loved, and truly a happy cat. Emily was a super hostess- her Welcome Guide and instructions were clear, and she was quick to respond to any questions during the sit. Her apt is charming, and the neighborhood is peaceful while being very close to stores, places to walk and hike, as well as the shops or Northampton.
Jeff & Talita's home in Desert Canyons was a great place to land. We went to Utah for the hiking and were not disappointed. There is a great park very close to their place, and Snow Canyon is also very nearby. Fabulous! We initially met Jeff, and he gave a great welcome with a thorough tour of their beautiful, spacious home as well as the neighbourhood. Talita was away when we arrived, but still left us with some thoughtful welcoming touches. We felt very comfortable and at home there. The dogs are well behaved inside and out. Archer is, indeed, 100 pounds of energetic, loving puppy. He's well-trained, but he is still a puppy. Mica is a sweetheart who loves to be loved. She's easy to walk and gave the nicest morning cuddles. Kumu Kai is a sweet, gentle old guy who likes shorter walks and all of the affection your can spare. The neighbourhood is mostly very quiet. There are off-road vehicles and dirt bikes heading through town on their way to the desert; if that's your thing, this is the place for you! We enjoyed the best weather of our winter travels during our time in Desert Canyons, and took full advantage of the great yard. We often ate lunch outside, lounged in the hot tub, and played with the "kids" in the fully fenced yard. When Jeff and Talita came home, we enjoyed an evening together, hearing about their trip and learning more about Utah (and Brazil). Great sit!
