What a treat! House-sitting for Becky was wonderful! Binx and Baba are gorgeous cats. Baba, especially, is extremely playful and affectionate. Binx is not far behind but takes a tiny bit longer to warm up than Baba. We house-sat for Becky for only two nights which wasn't long enough. Her home is beautiful and comfortable, and location is packed full of walks, is close to London and has all amenities close by. Becky made us feel welcome right from the very first communication and prepared her home for our arrival, even leaving us with fresh bread and milk, and cookies! We wouldn't hesitate sitting again for Becky. Thanks again, Becky xx

We looked after TJ for 3 nights. Nicola was communicative and friendly throughout the process, and David was there to show us around when we arrived and was very personable and helpful. Their house is modern, comfortable and clean. TJ is such a happy dog. He is well trained and you can really tell how loved he is. He was a joy to sit. He is fairly low maintenance. He loves his daily walks and just being around you. He is very easy at nighttime and knows his routine. The location is a nice getaway from central Auckland. A short walk to shops and cafes at Millwater and Silverdale. A short drive to Orewa. There are lots of walks and green spaces in the area so plenty of options for walking TJ. We had a great sit and would happily sit TJ again!
I watched Sohail's cat Leia for a few nights and it was a great experience! Leia is a total sweetheart and loves to play. Communication with Sohail was very quick, and his directions were easy to follow. His apartment is spacious and the area around it is beautiful - make sure to spend time in the nearby forest and river. Thank you Sohail!
Sowmya was great, very responsive, instructions were very clear, and she has a very nice/comfortable, very clean and organized and cozy home. Margo is a sweet and fluffy cat. She is a Diva who likes to be rubbed once she warms up to you. Margo knows when it's time to eat even though it's on an automatic feeder. She loves looking out the window when it's raining. She will sleep in the bed with you which was nice. I would highly recommend this sit and would accept any opportunity to sit again in the future. Also, there is a beautiful park with a lake to go and have lunch in the area. Wonderful sit.
We spent 5 days in Nicole’s beautiful home. The house is spacious and clean and is located close to wooded areas and a variety of restaurants and shops. Winnie is a sweet girl who was afraid to come close to us initially, and warmed up within a few hours. Once she knew us, she was eager to spend time curled up with us and enjoyed walks and playing with her toys. Winnie was mostly calm then would zoom around the back yard which always made us smile. She loves to sit outside when the weather was nice. Winnie is easy to walk and was friendly with people and other dogs. It was very easy to communicate with Nicole before and during the sit. I would be happy to sit for Winnie again.

I write this review, only because,the one thing that Katherine , hasn’t yet taught my two, is how to put pen to paper paper. I could do a sound bite recording, from when they are sitting fixated on the bay window, on walk day and the van turns into the street,but you’d be deaf for hours afterwards. They know the logo on Katherine’s van,even if we pass the van in the village they get excited.Katherine is our dogs best mate, come rain, snow or glorious sunshine, they calm instantly, the moment that gate opens,whilst their on their walk, it’s almost as if they tell Katherine all their woes and problems, because they come back so refreshed and Happy. Katherine, or Aunty Katherine as she’s known in in our house,is extremely versatile and if we can’t make a certain day,she’ll swap,and change to accommodate us, we just have to convince the dogs. I could go on for ever about Katherine, but one thing I want to say is she doesn’t leave the dogs at the gate, if they have a problem eg if they have a vets appointment or they aren’t well, Katherine will keep texting or phoning to keep checking on their wellbeing. Very recently one of our dogs became diabetic, then over the space of a couple of weeks, she went on to completely lose her sight. Katherine went above and beyond to help,as Katherine and Chris have recently lost their gorgeous spaniel, who was born blind. We just phone or text and she’s there with any help we need for our blind girl. There’s 3 people I’d trust with dogs, that’s us, Katherine and our vet in that order.They say dogs are the best judge of character. Finally please do teach my dogs to write,or better still type, then they can do their own review of their best friend

We've been using Just 4 Paws for a couple of years now, and Murphy loves it. Kath knows how to look after Murphy and he loves his time with her and the other dogs. Where other dog walkers have failed, Kath has really got under the skin of Murphy and managed to control his Working Cocker Spaniel, must-do-everything-at-a-million-miles-an-hour urges. Kath allows him to run around off the lead with the other dogs, which has made him much less inquisitive of other dog's when out for his usual walk with us. He loves his swimming too. On a personal level Kath is kind and considerate and you can see she loves the dogs and she loves her job, and I would happily recommend Just 4 Paws to anyone.
Kath is very professional and knowledgable about all aspects of dog care. She is very reliable and you can tell that she really loves dogs, and what she does. Our dog Jasper loves going for walks with Kath and his other doggy friends and I would highly recommend her services.
I have known Katherine Bennett for over 10 years as she has looked after my dog Alfie since he was 6 weeks old. We used just 4 paws for day care and walks when we first got our viszla obi. Right from the off kath was so reassuring and was always on hand with advice and guidance for our puppy. Kath took the worry out of the whole process of dog walking for us and we would definately recommend her to anybody who needs this service as she is clearly experienced and passionate about what she does.

We decided it would be good for our dog Spot to have one day a week to interact with other dogs. She has so much fun with Tracey and burns up all her energy playing with her new doggy friends. Always sleeps well when she gets back home. Tracey obviously loves the dogs in her care we wouldn't take Spot anywhere else.
Well what a fabulous couple. We didn't want to put our pooch into kennels so searched the web for a dog sitter and came across Tracy and Fari. Felt really comfortable after the first meeting and arranged a 9 night stay with them (for our dog not us !! ) They have a genuine affinity with dogs which is clear to see. My husband hadn't got back home before we had a video clip which really did put our minds at rest and I especially felt happy that our precious pet was going to be very well looked after and go on holiday without worrying. We had regular video clips throughout our holiday and I used to look forward to viewing them as we did miss him as he is such a big part of our family. We were blown away how happy he seemed and were concerned he wouldn't want to come home !! Tracy is very experienced in looking after dogs and even trained Fudge to catch treats which we have kept up ! ! I do not normally recommend but on this occasion I have raved about Tracy and Fari. We won't hesitate to book again in future .. thank you for looking after our Fudgey !!!
Oh my Tracey is amazing, this was my dog first time and at 11 he is set in his ways a bit, but was so happy staying here, he is booked in again in May, Tracey sent me videos of him, really put my mind at rest that he was in a safe, secure and loving environment, would definitely recommend.

We have a stubborn and sometimes difficult french bulldog, but Emma is amazing with him! Upon our first meeting/consultation, it was clear that things would be done very professionally. We've never had any issues and Emma is very good at communicating. Our bulldog loves her and we trust her. Everything you want from someone coming into your home and looking after your pet. Would highly recommend.
Superb service. Used Emma to look after my cat while away on holiday and was over the moon at how caring she was. I didn't have to pester her with messages to see how he was as she contacted me to put my mind at rest. She did everything required and more and I felt very comfortable having her come into my home while away. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Booked cosy care due to a holiday and i didn't want to put my 2 cats, Bauble and Tinsel into a cattery. They are very shy with people they don't know, but I needn't have worried with cosy care. The cats took to the carer straight away, and judging by the photos i was sent, they loved her!! Will certainly be using the service in the future as I know they will be happy and well looked after. Alby, our nearly 9 month Sprocker Spaniel, has been going to steve for the last 3 months at least once a week. We honestly can’t speak highly enough of Steve and the service he provides. We can guarantee a tired out little pup at the end of the day - which is very difficult considering how much energy he has - and we know he’s safe, well looked after and loved! It’s lovely to get updates off Steve throughout the day, and seeing Alby having the best time makes it so easy to take him week after week. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now!
5 years later and Bella is still going to Steve. He’s essentially her 2nd Dad. She loves it. Couldn’t recommend any more. Absolutely fantastic service and always willing to help and support. ————————— Bella, our 7 month old black lab, has been going to Steve and his family for doggy daycare since she was only 3 months old. We needed help with juggling busy lives and Steve helps us out massively and has treated Bella like his own dog and welcomed her into his own home. She has regular daycare twice a week but if we need more Steve does all he can to fit her in. She’s had her first couple of sleepovers and boarded already and is booked in for her summer holidays next year. She loves her time at Active Canines, playing with her mates, going for walks and comes home very happy and tired after a fun day. The photo updates throughout the day are very much appreciated as she’s only a pup - but we don’t need to worry about her as she’s treated so well. Wouldn’t go anywhere else and would highly recommend Active Canines. 10/10 + for looking after your precious dog - she’s very safe in Active Canines care. This is a family run business at its best.
I would definitely 100% recommend Active Canines, Steve has been looking after Sadie our 6 yr old springer for 3 months now, doing doggy day care and a 10 day holiday. I have never left Sadie with anyone but family in the past, but due to a family holiday I needed to find someone I could trust, Sadie took to Steve straight away and settled in very quickly, she gets on well with all the other dogs in the group and loves her off lead walks. Steve also keeps us updated daily with pictures of Sadie, which is so nice to see and reassuring that she is happy and being so well looked after.
Ozzy has spent another week with Steve, he always has a great time and comes home happy and tired. It's great to get photos of Ozzy during the day. Steve always takes Ozzy for lovely walks but also makes sure he has some relax time (very important for 9 month old lab puppies who would run all day if they could ). Can't recommend Steve enough.
I was recommended Active Canines by a lady from work and it's the best thing that's happened to Stanley, my one year old black Labrador! He absolutely loves going to see Steve and all his new doggy friends! Stanley comes home and just zonks as he's physically and mentally tired from a day of fun! Stanley regularly goes to doggy day care now. Steve, the owner, is a really genuine guy with a vast array of knowledge and experience with all types of breeds. Steve offers an excellent dog walking service. He is very reliable and most importantly my little dog loves going out with him and the other dogs. She has also stayed overnight, it's like home from home and I know she is in safe hands. I would highly recommend.
This was the first time our spaniels Watson and Millie had been left away from our family so to say that we were apprehensive was an understatement. We needn't have worried though, as they were made to feel so welcome by Steve and his family in his 'home from home' and the photos throughout were very reassuring. My border collie has had a great time with Steve, he would frequently take Sergi to his home and send pictures of him socialising with other dogs which was very nice to see! You can definitely tell that Steve puts his heart and soul into looking after these dogs needs! He was also very reliable and accommodating to my changes in shift patterns.
Steve has just looked after our working cocker, Sam, while we were on holiday. It was great to get daily photos of Sam, enjoying himself with the other dogs. It’s reassuring to know we have someone we can leave our dog with.

We needed a dog walker when our work patterns changed a couple of years ago- Colleen walks Max every day and we can't praise her enough-she's enthusiastic and very knowledgeable but above all trustworthy. Max loves going out with his doggy 'friends' and it's huge peace of mind for us that he is safe whilst socialising and exercising. She is very flexible and swaps or changes for us if needed. Colleen from walk the line was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so pleased I have found her. She is very professional and helpful. She came out to meet our cat Tilly before we went away. This really helped as it gave me the confidence that Tilly would recognise her when she popped in to feed her. She updated me over the weekend with photos and videos, which put me at ease. We're over the moon that we discovered Colleen at Walk the Line! Our little fur baby loves seeing Colleen and going on walkies with her. Absolutely brilliant dog walker. My little pug absolutely adores Colleen and gets sooo excited when she picks him up. So much so he waits for her van to pull up and seems to know when she's here. My pug can be a little worky ticket sometimes however working with Colleen he is so much more confident with other dogs and I trust her so much with him and you can tell she loves the dogs so much and bonus I get regular videos and pictures of him on his walks! Since walking with Colleen my pugs behaviour has massively improved too. Will always use walk the line and really really good prices!
Colleen walked our dog Rosa for nearly a year (only stopped because we moved away) and she was absolutely fantastic. Our dog can be quite nervous, but Colleen took really good care of her and Rosa always came back tired and happy! Gail has looked after our dog on several occasions when we have been away on long days out or on short breaks and I would not hesitate to 100% recommend her services to other pet owners. She treats our dog like one of her own. She is a very reliable, intuitive and responsible person and she develops close relationships with every animal she cares for. She is very flexible and tailors the care so that our dog has always had the most home from home experience possible e.g. feeding raw food and providing the same sleeping arrangements. My dog knows her now and is always excited to see her. I wouldn't leave him with anyone else.
I have 2 staffies, Marlow and Juno and they both absolutely love Gail. I've used Gail's services on a number of occasions now while on short breaks or long days away and I feel fully reassured that they are very happy and well looked after whilst in her care. She does such a great job, is reliable, caring and very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her services.
Gail is always on time and has been really flexible with additional days, when we have asked with minimal notice. Willow always comes back tired and happy after her walk and gets very excited as soon as she sees Gail or even hears her name. I am very happy to give very positive feedback to Gemini Pet Care, as they have really stepped up to help out when needed.
Do not trust this woman!!.we booked her to look after our dogs, 3 days into our holiday abroad, she decided she did not want to do it anymore and came up with a whole pile of lies and excuses which were pathetic! She emailed us telling us that ON THAT DAY was her last visits! I literally have noone else to look after my fur babies, and have no other option to get the next available flight home from malta, which is costing us a fortune, due to COVID, on top of loosing out on our family holiday, devastated children to answer to, and the stress that is unbelievable, all because she decided she didn't want to do it anymore so so unprofessional...find somebody with experience, who you can trust and rely on....THIS IS NOT THE PERSON BELIEVE ME! I would also like to note, that I have everything on CCTV cameras.....

Used Pet Amigo's cat sitting service for a few years now and been impressed with the fantastic level of service, our 2 cats are happy in their own home and Ian and Jan are brilliant at keeping them fed and watered and looked after including playing with them. They also put the bins out, pick up the mail and water houseplants if need be. When we return from holiday we get an update on what's happened in our absence. My mother in law also recommends the service for her 2 cats as well. Would recommend the service 110% as happy cats can't be wrong.
This is a pet sitting service second to none. The quality of care for my two cats over the last eleven years gas been superb. Jan and Ian are meticulous in their management of the bookings and have always fitted me in often at short notice. Best of all they are real animal people and my two cats loved them and were always so happy and well when I came home. I can recommend Pet Amigos without reservation.
I can't praise Jan and Ian at Pet Amigos highly enough. We have been using them for a couple of years now and they are always helpful, totally reliable and really seem to care for our two, slightly crazy, cats. They always leave a note for us to find on our return and when we went away for two weeks in the summer, they emailed us photos of our "girls" enjoying their staycation! The whole experience is far more relaxing for us, as well as our cats. Brilliant.
Returned from our hols to a very chilled out cat just came to say hello and then she was off again. This was all down to Ian and Jan at pet amigos. Cheers to both and look forward to booking pet amigos in the near future.
Having used pet amigos for a number of years, it is with some regret that i feel obliged to write this review. Our early experience of them was very good. However, over the past two years we experiences a significant reduction in the quality of care. On several occasions, we have returned home to find that our cats had been opening the packets of cat food by themselves and consequently there was off food all over our house. On another occasion, we returned home to find our fridge freezer had been switched off at the socket and we lost all the food stored in there including several expensive cuts of meat. Finally, I contacted them last weekend to arrange a last minute booking. Rather than simply turning down the booking, we received two offensive emails questioning the fact that we had gone away without booking them earlier . Our neighbours were at home and able to visit the cats but we had simply first opted to offer pet amigos the booking. Following this, they have cancelled our future bookings at extremely short notice leaving us in the lurch. They have caused us a lot of upset and distress and we are extremely lucky to not have to solely rely on them.
Can’t recommend Pet Amigos highly enough. My cats adore Ian and he makes us feel secure and happy with photos and notes throughout the time booked. He leaves everything clean and tidy too x thank you !!!!
