We had a wonderful time in Portland sitting two of the sweetest pups! Michael and David were very generous and accommodating hosts who made sure we had everything we needed and more to have a lovely, more than comfortable stay. They have a gorgeous home and great kitchen for cooking, which we appreciated. Poppers and Rush, the cutest corgi pups were a joy to look after and only added to our wonderful stay. They are such affectionate, snuggly, happy, well behaved dogs. The neighborhood is gorgeous and in a very central location- we enjoyed beautiful daily walks with the pups. We would love to sit again! Thank you both.
Di and Karl are some of the most incredible people we’ve met — kind, personable, and inviting, even cooking us dinner! It was a fantastic night getting to know them, the dogs, and the house before the sit. It felt like meeting up with great friends you hadn’t seen in a long time, and we didn’t want the night to end. Roxy and Oakley are both so playful, intelligent, and lovable. Oakley loves “working” and loves being around people. Roxy is a sweetheart and the supervisor, watching over everyone and checking on everything. We loved learning their personalities, teaching them tricks, and playing with them in their beautiful backyard. The relaxed, joyful confidence of both puppers is genuinely a reflection of their wonderful puppy parents. This was a unique and relaxing sit, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for having us!
I had a lovely time with Peggy, she is ever so timid (she was only rescued a couple of months beforehand and had never been left before), she shook all over when I even approached at first, and she was still really nervous by the end (it was less than a week, to be fair). it was really nice to see her gradually warm to me. It was really helpful that they have a nice garden, a lovely one, and the weather was fair enough for us to spend a lot of time out there together. She's really cute and will build confidence, I don't doubt at all (she would let me stroke her by the last few days and clearly enjoyed it). I had a lovely time getting to know the family on the evening we spent together (including a trip to a local pub 5 mins walk away, which is great!). Stanmer park is so close, which is lovely, and nice to be near 'cool' Brighton (and the downs, though I didn't venture there too much). I'd love to go back one day and would certinaly recommend it to other siters.
I had a wonderful stay here! Incredible location, and the chillest, cuddliest trio you'll ever meet! Genuinely loved spending time with Mumford, Chicken & Thing in Nicole & Kyle's beautiful home, and cannot wait to watch them again!
Pinto bean, Mimis, and Lulu were joyfully old pups to care for. They loved the daily walks around the block, especially checking all their favorite spots. Huck and Loyce were very sweet and their house is well located for exploring the area. I had a wonderful stay.
Diego is the sweetest kitty and was a playful and cuddly buddy for the weekend! Audrey was also so accommodating and kind. The apartment is comfy and well-located, with walking distance to fun eating and breweries. Highly recommend — great spot, amazing kitty, super friendly and kind house parents!
