Tim and Helen are fantastic hosts, and the three dogs are adorable. We were made very welcome when we arrived and there was great and responsive communication throughout our stay. The location is fabulous for dog walking and we had a great time taking Ziggy, Pippin and Bentley out and about in a stunning part of north Devon. The dogs are very friendly and full of enthusiasm. Would love to sit for them again.
What an amazing sit! Everything about this one topped the charts! Anne and Richard are wonderful caring people who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Great communicators. Organized. And helpful. Their beautiful home was a delight. In a wonderful neighborhood. The location is in a great part of St. Louis. Very walkable. I’ve saved the best for last.....Winston is such a joy. What a wonderful little fellow. Smart, loving and easy to care for. The only drawback is he will STEAL your heart! I can’t recommend Anne, Richard and Winston more highly.....
Misty, Bella and Kenai are such a joy to be around. All of them are very well mannered. We ran around the house a bit explored the trail system in the backyard, it was truly the perfect little getaway. The goats and chickens were so much fun to be around too. I absolutely loved chatting with Lisa for a bit. She shared the best cider I’ve ever had and we talked about a few of her travels around the world. Her and her family are wonderful people. It was all such a nice change of pace, sunsets and sunrises on vashon island are a must and have the adorable small town shops close by. It was a perfect little home tucked away from it all.
Jan & Jimmy are two of the sweetest, most hospitable people you will have the pleasure of meeting. They were communicative, welcoming, and made sure I was comfortably accommodated and informed before and during the sit. They have a lovely and well-equipped home in a safe and quiet neighborhood not far from grocers and other necessities by car. Their pups, Hank and Harry, are adorable and relatively low maintenance with colorful personalities. Their cats, Pumpkin and Peeps, are affectionate and simple to care for and love. Easiest of all were the chickens, for which I had no previous experience, but was eager to encounter. Overall an excellent sit with better people—I would gladly recommend sitting for Jan & Jimmy, and would return myself.
