The house is gorgeous, very cosy. Denise left us milk, yogurt and a few treats, very thoughtful. The area is very safe. The cat is no trouble at all. Close to the northern line so an ideal stay for a short stint. Denise is lovely.
We had a lovely housesit at Douglas and Victoria's very comfortable home in North Yorkshire. Communication and instructions about the home and dogs were excellent. Dora and Dyllis are affectionate friendly dogs who were easy to care for. We grew very fond of them and it was difficult to leave them on our last day. The village of Marton cum Grafton, set in idyllic countryside has a wonderful shop, pub and great walks from the door. Villagers were very friendly. You can also visit Knaresborough, Harrogate and York along with numerous other great local areas. Highly recommended. Thankyou to you both for sharing your wonderful home and garden.
This was my first sit on the THS platform, and it honestly could not have gone better! Andrea was an amazing host, she was welcoming and made sure I was comfortable and well-informed on everything in her home, as well as the surrounding area. Serafina is an absolute diamond. She is an adorable, sweet cat and beyond her obvious cuteness (so cute!!) she is also very social and a very easy cat to care for. During the 8 nights I stayed with her, Serafina completely stole my heart and it was very difficult to say goodbye. Regarding responsibilities, Andrea was very clear and there was no confusion or grey area before confirming the sit. After exchanging some messages, we scheduled a video call to address any questions and to simply get acquainted. This gave me ease of mind knowing I could address any curiosities that weren’t explained in her thorough explanation. The commute to central Paris was very easy and convenient, yet I found myself taking a few days to simply explore the neighborhood and calming beauty of Courbevoie. There is a diverse range of food options, and I found the community to be incredibly safe and friendly (also very POC-friendly!) I also stayed in with Serafina a few days because you will never get bored in the house when watching her! I truly enjoyed this housesit and Serafina will forever take up a special place in my heart. I hope to be able to revisit Serafina and Andrea some time in the future. Thank you both for an amazing experience 🥰
We had a great stay with Kuni. Mike and Hiro were very welcoming and left clear, detailed instructions on how to care for Kuni and their home. We were able to meet them a few days before to go through everything. Their home was very comfortable and clean and we loved how quiet it was. The backyard is a beautiful oasis. We enjoyed exploring Vashon and were able to bring Kuni with us on all of our adventures. Kuni and our dog were instant friends and had so much fun playing together. Kuni was very well behaved, smart and loved showing off her tricks. She is amazing at jumping high and playing fetch. She is sweet and enjoys cuddling especially after some good exercise. We enjoyed our stay with Kuni and would love to sit for her again someday!
We had such a lovely time at Alexandra and Alex's! They were so warm and welcoming - made us feel very comfortable and happy to be in their home. Merida and Winnie were such cuddly, loveable dogs (we already miss their snuggles) and Nelly was an angel. Thanks for having us guys!
What great place to stay! We loved the dogs and the house was comfortable and clean! Carina kept in contact if we had questions and left us with very detailed information! There is so much to do in the Leesburg area and we would definitely go back!!
