It was a delight to meet Laura and Susan and their feline family of 3. They have a very comfortable single storey renovated home very close to the Gatineau river - you can see it from the driveway You can also enjoy the sunrise above the trees across the river from the living room ( if you are an early riser like me) Their home is in a quiet spot away from The main road and yet only 20 minutes to drive into Ottawa or 10 minutes to the Gatineau Park - an outdoor paradise all year round. And the furry babes …… well they are just bundles of fun that keep you entertained, cuddled and purred to without reserve. They keep you on your toes too if you forget to put any food out of their reach. I only stayed a week but I’m sure they got bigger during that time. They were only 6 months old at the time of my stay. Laura and Susan left me some delicious home made goodies for my first supper after dropping them off at the airport. . I could not have felt more welcome and look forward to helping out with the family again soon. Thank you Laura and Susan for choosing me ! 
I enjoyed staying at Alethea's place and caring for her bulldog, Melvin. Melvin is energetic and very sweet. Alethea and Melvin live in a charming neighborhood. It's very quiet and the neighbors are friendly and its a 20-minute walk to some cool eating spots. I was very comfortable during my time here. Since it was a short stay, I enjoyed Alethea's snacks, which were abundant and convenient to prepare in her nice kitchen. She made sure I knew which neighbors to go to in an emergency and she was very responsive to the questions I texted her while I was housesitting. If you end up on this housesit and the roses are blooming out back, definitely take time to smell them.
I was made to feel very welcome. The two dogs are lovely & I really enjoyed looking after them. I was provided with excellent information about the dogs & enjoyed walking them each day. Really appreciated Diana's help & company with the walks. Lovely home & garden just off the High Street, Bungay No hesitation in recommending.
This was my first sit through THS and I couldn’t be more grateful for the chance that Thalia gave me to stay at her lovely place and spend time with the sweet Tabsy and Tiger. They are both such adorable and affectionate cats, always ready to give you some warm cuddles but at the same time incredibly easy to take care of. I already miss them. Communication with Thalia was very smooth and clear, she’s incredibly kind and easy going. I felt at ease asking her anything, she was always just one message away. I’d definitely come do this again! Thank you for this experience, Thalia :)

Blanca & Cocoa are the sweetest Chihuahuas I have ever met. They are like cats. They love a snuggle and are super good walkers. Did some great walks with them. Leah's home is close to a big park with a lovely view on the sea so it's really handy to walk the pooches. The flat is classic Portuguese and is located in a diverse neighbourhood part of Setubal. It's super safe, I walked the pooches at 11pm one night. Buses can be a bit of a hit and miss so I used Uber quite a lot. Setubal has an amazing food market and the old town is really cute.
