Delighted that Liesl and Ewan were available to sit for me again. After the first sit they did for me, it really was like having friends back to stay. They clearly love my pets and it was such a weight off knowing I could go away leaving everything in good hands. Anyone would be lucky to have them sit; responsible, tidy, thoughtful - just great.
Whitney was amazing! I was a little concerned about getting the right sitter because I live in a fairly remote area of a developing country, but Whitney took a leap of faith, didn't blink an eye, and adjusted well to the small, rural community. She seemed to take all the unique challenges of the area in stride. When I returned, my home was in great condition, and she made sure to have food for me to eat, which was much appreciated! Most importantly, though, Whitney took excellent care of my dog, Zelda! She followed all my requests for Zelda's care, spoiled her (within very reasonable limits), and did lots of extras without being asked (trimmed her nails, taught her new tricks, helped out with a neighboring mama dog, etc.). Whitney provided regular updates including photos and videos. She was always quick to respond and was more than willing to take care of things that unexpectedly arose during this extended sit, including a broken gate and handling a minor but stressful emergency care situation. I could not have asked for a better experience for both me and Zelda. Zelda now has an Auntie Whitney who is welcome in our home anytime!
Mary was the perfect sitter for Jasper. They seemed to bond quickly and her love and knowledge was quite evident. Although the sit was just over 24 hours, I have no doubt that she would handle a long term stay perfectly. She was very organized and right on-point as far as asking direct questions. We were a bit delayed in our return and told her she was free to go ahead and leave but she preferred to stay on and see it through for Jasper's sake. We wouldn't hesitate to have her back!
I ADORED Anna and David’s home and Pablo and Clawde were absolutely divine companions. I loved those cuties. The location was also stunning being right on the Thames for some lovely jogs, and the Elder Press cafe became my favourite place to do some solid writing. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up 👍
