Vicki and Charles are charming individuals, friendly, helpful and down to earth, with high expectations concerning the care of their beloved canine family members Maggie and Andy. They were able to present their expectations in such a positive friendly manner that it inspired me to want to perform, above and beyond. After meeting with the couple, Charles emailed me a detailed concise information packet filled with all the pertain information concerning the care of Maggie and Andy and details concerning their home. It was extremely helpful to review the information beforehand. Any questions I had were answered in detail with helpful information. When I inquired on the best route to walk Maggie and Andy into the village, Charles drew a walking map which was quite helpful. Vicki, told me about all the shops and venues in the village, she thought I would enjoy. It was obvious they wanted me to enjoy my stay. Maggie and Andy were a complete delight to care for. They were well behaved, followed commands and were extremely affectionate, in response to my welcoming it and giving of affection to them. Making sure they felt secure and loved came so naturally and I really enjoyed interacting with them. It was a delightful pet sit, one I would gladly repeat.
Apollo is such a sweet and gentle dog. He is very chill and lounges all day, which was great for me while I was working. I loved spending time with him! Raina was super friendly and welcomed me with water bottles by my bed and a snack basket on the table. It made me feel super welcome and appreciated! They have a cozy house in a safe neighborhood - great set-up for anyone who is working while traveling. I’d definitely recommend a housesit with Raina!
Keitheley's place is clean, comfortable and very intersting, reflecting a life of varied interests and travel. Albert is a sweety. Once he bonds with you, he has absolutely no regard for one's personal space! will snuggle and snuggle, and snuggle some more. He's also an enthusastic walker and easy to care for. Peggy is THE softest kitty I have ever encountered, and she will also add to the 'pet pile' on your lap. It was lovely to spend the holidays here!!
Jan and Doug were so kind and hospitable to me, and I'm so grateful that I was able to meet them and do this sit. I can't recommend it enough! They picked me up from the train station and made me feel at home right away. Communication with Jan was a breeze, and it was lovely to chat to the two of them in general over dinner the night before they went away. The house was light, cosy and homey, I loved sitting on the couch and watching the trains go by at the foot of Craig Rossie in the distance, and the hot tub was an added luxury! Great for relaxing after a hike with Sula up to Craig Rossie. The main street with supermarket is a stone’s throw away, very convenient. Sula is a wonderful companion with a lot of personality, and it was a treat to have her company on the couch next to me as I worked away. I enjoyed our walks to the enchanting little wooded trail next to the creek nearby, and she walks very well on the lead. Thank you Jan, Doug and Sula, from the bottom of my heart, for a lovely getaway in Auchterarder x

I've had absolutely amazing time in Janet's and Chris's home. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable and the communication was excellent through. Harvey and Kenza are such gorgeous, chilled and well-behaved dogs. They were very easy to take care of, great on walks, amazing on leads, very affectionate and sociable but also chilled and relaxed. I really miss their gorgeous and happy faces. They really were the highlight of my stay 🧡 The house itself is stunning and very clean & comfortable, with what I believe, is the best view in Lyme Regis. This was my first sit through THS and the bar is very very high! Thank you for trusting me, and can't wait to look after your doggos again 🧡 Ps. You do need to be relatively fit to look after Harvey & Kenza, as all the walks involve some fairly steep hills
