I was extremely lucky to have Michele as my dog-sitter this past July. Michele was so loving, caring and responsible that I had no worries whatsoever leaving my dog Rocky with her. Rocky is a special-needs rescue dog (blind, hard-of-hearing and with fear-of-abandonment issues). Michele was very sensitive to this and took compassionate care of Rocky – bringing him out on long walks and for trips to the park. I could tell from the pictures she sent me that Rocky very much enjoyed her love and company. She sent frequent updates to let me know how things were going and even did an extensive clean-up before she left. It was so pleasant coming home to a happy dog and an immaculate apartment. Michele is such a warm, lovely person and I am so grateful to her — not only for attending to Rocky’s needs, but for truly cherishing him, going above and beyond to reassure him during my absence. I hope she comes back for another sit. I know Rocky misses her!
Gus is so sweet and a joy to take care of. He’s so friendly and quiet and loved to snuggle on the couch. The neighborhood was really nice with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores to explore as well as a great park right across the street. Jess was a great host, very friendly and communicative. Her home was very nice and cozy to enjoy the rainy days in. Would be happy to sit with Gus again if the opportunity arises!
We had a fabulous stay in Leland, North Carolina. Beverley and Philippe are a lovely couple and made us feel right at home. They have two well-behaved cats and their beautiful home, decorated for Christmas, was wonderful. There is so much to do in the area.; beach walking, biking, pickleball, and exploring the charming towns nearby. This housesit makes our "A" list.
Really nice home and sweet dog. Bagheera and I got along swimmingly. Great, clear communication from the homeowner too. Hope to sit here again.
We had a great time looking after Harry, Heidi, Bee, Jess and Fred. It was lovely to meet Jane and Bill who gave us a great welcome and handover. The house is beautiful and the area is wonderful for walking and being near the sea. The dogs are really sweet, so well behaved and easy to look after. We would happily return.
Lulu was very communicative and organized, leaving us detailed instructions on caring for Nama and info about her neighborhood. And Nama was a sweetie to take care of. We enjoyed investigating the area around her apartment, which was easy and safe to navigate. We would do this sit again if we have the opportunity.
