Danny's Pet Care has been walking my dogs since I moved to Brookland in 2015. I cannot say enough about the personalized care and communication of my pets. Danny has always been great about accommodating changes to my schedule, and I appreciate them beyond what I can say in this review. Danny's Pet Care did an amazing job taking care of our 2 cats whenever we needed to be out of town! They were reliable, consistent, responsive, and comparably affordable. After several disappointing attempts to use Rover to find care for our pets, switching to Danny's Pet Care was such a great experience. 10/10 would recommend this service!

The team at Danny's Pet Care has taken wonderful care of our cat Solo for 11 years, and our second cat Chapati during the latter half of that time. Danny walked our senior girl for her last year and he was very sweet with her. He's clearly very comfortable managing all sorts of dogs and combinations of dogs. It made me happy thinking her having a little social life with neighborhood doggies during the week. Danny was also extremely flexible and accommodating with my frequently changing schedule. When we get a new dog we will have Danny walk them too.

Elise is so wonderful with our kitties. It is amazing to know they are in good hands when we are out of town - she's a great communicator, incredibly sweet, and responsible!

Danny's Pet Care is wonderful! Elise has taken superb care of my cat as I've traveled for short and long trips over the past few years. Communication is superb and consistent and it is a huge relief knowing that my cat is in safe, responsible, and caring hands when I am away. I know he's getting plenty of brushing, treats, and play time in addition to basic food & water care.

We have been using Danny’s Pet Care for the last 4 years- they are amazing! We are very happy with the care they provide to our 2 dogs. The dogs love their regular daily dogwalker who also occasionally dog sits when we’re out of town- we trust him completely and know our dogs are in good hands! Danny is very responsive to any questions/requests and organized in his management. He also clearly cares for the well-being of his staff as much as for his clients. Highly recommend them for any pet care needs!

We've been clients of Danny's Pet Care for almost three years. We are super happy with our walker who knows our dog really well and cares for him like he is her own. The walks are long and are great opportunities for socialization if your dog is up for that. Danny is always communicative about holidays and breaks and we're super pleased!

What an outstanding experience we had in working with Tails of the City! I have worked with the owner, Thai, who is extremely responsive and dependable. There is no doubt why her business has been so successful for the past 16 years. Although we screen all of our sponsors, Tails of the City shines among the top tier of Pet Sitting professionals offering services well beyond of basic requirements of most prospective pet sitting customers. They offer Born to Run Fitness, which addresses the exercise needs of our four legged friends. They have also has outlasted most of their competition. (Being a publisher in the local pet industry we have found that many Pet Sitters are in and out of business in just 2 - 3 years, not registered with the State, not insured/bonded and have questionable reputations). Thai staffs all her areas within Maryland/DC & VA with professionals who serve all her customers reliably on time. This was our first time using Tails of the City for home boarding our two cats Molly and Bobo for two weeks over Christmas vacation. Thai Nguyen and her family were wonderful. Fuzzy Critters has been a life saver! Our dog Maple absolutely loves going there. She starts whimpering when she realizes we are getting close and then bounds out of the car to run into Jessica's yard, leaving me in the dust. She loves hanging out with all the other doggies and still being in a home environment with access to the outside. Highly recommend!

Jessica is an amazing person who really cares about the dogs who are staying with her. Our Pepper (pit/lab mix) had a great time with Jessica. Pepper stayed for a week and every time we walk past Jessica's house, she tries to get me to let her go say hello to Jessica and her dogs. I started taking my dog, Missy, here during the pandemic and she LOVES it. Whenever we get close to the house, Missy starts jumping and getting super excited and almost busts out of the car door! I love leaving her with Jess because they treat Missy like one of their own furry family members with cuddles and playtime - and that means a lot to me.

Jess is amazing with our pups!! We can travel with ease of mind knowing they are well taken care of. They always have a great time!!

Josephine and Chris are a godsend! We have a very energetic and dog reactive Pudelpointer and they have been taking great care of her off and on for the last 2 years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!

Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

We've used Chris and Peticular Charm Per Care several times. They've always done a great job and have been consistent, reliable, and professional. Our dogs are French Bulldogs and they have special needs. Chris and team did a great job with them and the dogs loved them. I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dog walking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.

Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.

I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!

The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We met Chris while he was out walking one of his clients and enjoyed talking with him so much, we decided he would be our new dog walker. He is reliable and wonderful with our scaredy-pup. I've recommended him to our neighbors and friends, and we rest easy when we leave town knowing Chris is looking in on our pup.

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

We've been working with C-PUP for dog walking and dog sitting for over a year now. If you are looking for a walker or in-home sitting service, I'll assume that your fur family members are incredibly important to you and you want to make sure they are getting the best care possible. C-PUP provides just that. They are incredibly professional, well-organize, thorough and meticulous when it comes to understanding what your pet needs for care. We have three dogs of various ages, including a senior dog that requires extra-special care and C-PUP is incredibly attentive to all of their different needs. They are wonderfully communicative as well, especially during over-night pet-sitting. Your fur family will be in wonderful hands with C-PUP.

Over the years, all of our cats have been well taken care of by C-Pup. They are a pleasure to work with, trustworthy, and they always keep us posted (text msg and e-mail) on how things are going with our fur babies. Also, for us what is very important is that they are a local neighborhood business. Being local means being able to provide their services quickly.

I LOVE C-PUP! We have used them over the past few years and they are fantastic! Shannon (owner) is very professional, thorough in interviewing dog(s) owner(s), getting detailed information on what the needs and desires are of owners and pets!!! She is incredibly organized and meticulous in ensuring that pets and owners may leave each other with an easy mind. All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. We have traveled and used C-PUP for home stays and also as a dog walking service. Our dogs have become so familiar with C-PUP staff that it's as if another family member is with them. Wonderful, wonderful people and service. I can't say enough good things about Shannon and C-PUP! I recommend them to anyone and everyone expressing an interest in pet services. Our dogs love them; we love them!

C-PUP has been walking our two dogs for over 2 years and they both still run to the door to great C-PUP's walkers every time they come to the house. They've been very easy to work with for both their dog walking services and their pet sitting services. C-PUP is super responsive, and incredibly flexible when plans change at the last minute. We have been clients of C-PUP Pet Sitting & Dog Walking for over 7 months and have been consistently pleased with the service provided. Shannon is responsive and professional. Our dog walker, Emily, is terrific. Our dog is always delighted when she arrives for his daily walks and play. We have also used C-PUP at least three times for pet sitting and have no hesitation to continue to do so. Shannon asks for details, such as when we will depart and when we are expected to return. She makes sure we have returned when expected, so our dog is not alone or missing dinner. Shannon's attention to detail gives us peace of mind. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.

The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. I would recommend any of their services if you wish for your pet to receive the highest quality of care when you can't do it yourself!

We've been using C-PUP to look after our cats for several years, and we've always had an outstanding experience. We get email updates once or twice while we're away. We arrive home to find a written daily log of feeding, meds, visits, etc. I can recommend them without hesitation.

Marcia is amazing! She took care of our three cats at relatively short notice. She is very kind and treated our pets as though they were her own, working with individual feeding requirements and sending daily updates and pictures while we were away. I really appreciated her offer to come over and meet with us before services started. We will absolutely be calling her again the next time we need someone to look after our fur babies!

I found Bella almost 2 years ago when I first got my dog, Roxy, and ever since she could not be more reliable. She is so great with her and treats her as if she is her own (and her kids love Roxy too!). I know for a fact that she is well taken care of while I am traveling and that makes me feel 1000x better; I don't need to worry about the love she is receiving while I'm away! CANNOT RECOMMEND BELLA ENOUGH! We have had Bella take care of our dog for the past 2 years when we go out of town. After a bad experience with a doggy day care center that felt impersonal and cold, Bella was a breath of fresh air. When our dog is with her, he really is a part of the family and I am able to relax while away because I know he’s in great hands. Our dog enjoys playing with her children and even going to work with Bella at the pet hospital. She is able to provide pick up and drop offs, lots of pictures every day as well as some grooming services. Bella is also very flexible and easy to contact. Our dog always returns exhausted and well cared for. Anyone should feel comfortable with their pet in her care. We cannot recommend her enough!

Bella has cared for our two dogs and diabetic cat for over a year now, and she is truly fantastic! She is flexible, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our fur-babies are happy and healthy. She has accommodated all sorts of issues for us, including last minute schedule changes and medication administration. Our dogs are usually nervous around people, but they always have a great time with Bella. She is also great about keeping us informed and sends plenty of photos after each visit. I cannot recommend her services highly enough - without Bella, we wouldn’t be able to travel nearly as much as we have lately! I am so comfortable with Bella caring for our animals. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!

Bella is awesome! She’s been watching my dogs for over 3 years now and has always done an amazing job with them. She is very attentive, sends updates often, and offers pick-up and drop-off services. I know that anytime I leave my dogs with Bella and her family they will be well loved and well played with.

Bella did an amazing job taking care of our healthy cat and our sick cat while we were away. She administered medication as prescribed and provided daily updates to the worried pet parents. Bella was lovely to talk with and also took good care of our home. I highly recommend her!

I have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!

Silver Spring Fetch is awesome! Their sitter Dawn became a part of our family. My cats love her!! I always felt better when I know that Dawn was watching over my fur babies and appreciate the great care that she gave them.

Fetch has been a godsend for us. You've looked after our cats for over a decade, and we are always able to enjoy our time away from them secure in the knowledge that they are being well taken care of. Their primary sitter, Stephenie, is particularly great and always sends us the best pictures of the cats!

We have been using FETCH for several years (about 6-7?). I cannot recommend this company more highly. Originally, FETCH came to our house in Kensington. When we moved further out in the county, FETCH accommodated us even though we were not in their usual walking area. Lorena has been walking our pup ever since, at least 3 years. Our pup loves Lorena who is completely focused on her care the entire time she is with her. Lorena knows exactly what our dog needs and she has special games she plays with her. (Hiding treats around the room when she leaves!). I attached one of Lorena's daily pictures of our dog. FETCH also accommodates our crazy, inconsistent work schedules. Over the years, their service has improved with digital walk diaries, online client portals and better customer service. We do not provide people with the keys to our home lightly. FETCH is licensed and bonded and they really check out their walkers thoroughly. We would not trust anyone else to care for our pup, especially now that she is aging. FETCH is a premium service, but the service and sense of trust we get from knowing they can be there for our dog is well worth it

I am new to Fetch! but have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Their online system makes scheduling visits, paying invoices, and receiving updates very easy and organized. Jenny, in particular, is such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, punctual, and thorough. Her post-visit updates with pictures and commentary provided much peace of mind while I was away. I have a blind, senior cat who is a little needier than the average cat, but I know he's in great hands with Jenny.

Absolutely love this service! Fetch is so reliable, I love that I’m always matched with the same sitter. Shout out to Connor. Connor comes to our home every time we’re out of town, our two cats love him, and, most importantly, I always feel safe having him in my home. Connor plays with my girls, takes pictures, and leaves a diary note in the app telling me about their day. I look forward to those updates when I’m abroad! I also have the peace of mind knowing that Connor is not an independent contractor, so if he’s ever sick or unavailable, Fetch will send a new sitter out to take care of my cats. All around 5 stars. Easy to use app and service.

Fetch has been an excellent service for us. They are friendly and really show care for pets. We appreciate that we've had the same wonderful dog walker for over 3 years now, and he's super sweet and kind to Roxy. We appreciate the flexibility of the daily schedule, and that Mike will often be able to accommodate extra or weekend walks when we ask. We have been impressed with the work Fetch has done to maintain service during the pandemic. Can't recommend highly enough!

My boxer had a great day boarding at Barking Lot. Easy drop off and pick up and there was a ton of space for the dogs to run around. With the added bath, she came home really clean and ready to sleep. I love that they offer boarding overnight with 24/7 staffing and no crating. Will definitely be back.

My dog LOVES coming here! She’s always excited to pull up in the lot, and is happy, healthy, clean, and sleepy when she comes home. The outdoor space is a game changer and the staff is so friendly.

Love taking my dog here. Love the fact that there is a covered outdoor area for your dog to room outside in most weather types. She always comes home ready to nap!

My dogs LOVE going to the Barking Lot! They come home happy and exhausted. The fact that half-day daycare is an option is amazing, too. My older dog will always overdo it and the half-day option allows for moderation. The dogs especially love Darrick and are always thrilled to see him.

I just got off the phone with Pet Peeps after inquiring about my reactive German Shepherd and had the most incredible conversation. Gus walked me through options and helped me address all my needs regarding my not so sweet lady. I have a lot of confidence in his recommendation and opinions. My name is Zooey and I am a 13 year old Puggle. I have asked my person to write this note recommending Pet Peeps to take care of your beloved pets. Gus was my first dog walker when I was a puppy. I love him so much. He took me to my first Pride parade. We had sooo much fun together (we still do). He is reliable, responsible and my person said he is reasonable in price. Gus mostly manages these days but we still use Pet Peeps for my walks. My walker and I enjoy each other’s company as we walk around my neighborhood. My human and I strongly recommend Pet Peeps. We had a terrible experience using Pet Peeps. I would not advise anyone to rely on Gus if their pet has any sort of medical need. Not only was he unprofessional throughout the screening process, but he completely dropped the ball on taking care of our scared senior cat who needs insulin twice a day. He called on the first visit screaming at us that we lied about our cat being an easy job. We’ve had pet sitters come without issue in the past, and we obviously cannot predict if our cat is going to hide in the closet. He was so dramatic, and our downstairs neighbors had to come up with him to help. It’s truly embarrassing that he claims he’s been running a pet sitting business for decades and needs a neighbor to show him how to befriend a petrified senior cat. I would be happy to provide more information about our experience if you reach out.

We used Pet Peeps to walk our dog when we first adopted him in early 2018. Gus was very kind and we had a great first meeting with him before starting our walks -- you could tell he loves all pets and that he is passionate about his business. While we only used dog walking from Pet Peeps for a short time (we figured out our dog had separation anxiety and needed full time daycare to be his happiest), I would certainly recommend Gus and his team!

We recently moved away from the DC area, but for six years Pet Peeps provided daily dog walks and pet sitting for our dog and cat. Gus and his team were always available (even on short notice for emergencies) and always took excellent care of our fur-kids and went the extra mile. We always knew our pets were in good hands.

DO NOT SKIP THIS REVIEW: As a pet parent - communication is vital to me. I spoke with Gus on the phone, he assisted me with questions, concerns, and thoughts I had. We spoke on the phone, we even had a meeting to make this process easier. It all worked out. I felt respected and heard, and most important I felt my pets were cared for. I never had pets before, so I am always concerned if they're okay - and with Gus I had that peace of mind. So look no further, prices are excellent, care is exceptional, and Gus is awesome. I've been using Pet Peeps for a few years now, and they are far and away the best pet sitting service I've had. It's a great comfort to know that my very senior cat is well cared for. Their communication is great, their sitters spend time with my cat to make sure he gets some attention, the litter box is managed...everything is expert. Mavid looked after my cat on my latest trip, and I couldn't be more pleased with her service. Gus, the owner, is more than willing to step up for his staff, and pitched in with visits, too. I'll never use another service, and can't recommend them highly enough.

I can’t stop telling my friends about this business! Over a decade in Vet medicine, compassionate, reliable, and it’s inexpensive compared to the Rover and wagtime. I love the edible arrangements and toys they leave on the last day for my pet. Also making sure my mail box isn’t full and my plants are also taken care of. I didn’t say this, but I have a camera in my home and District Sitting touch anything they were suppose too or go in any room that was closed. I love this service!
