Erin and Cameron have a lovely, cozy and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. The garden is beautiful and you get to watch the sunsets from the fairy light lit patio. They explained everything really well to us and provided all the necessary informations and good communication. Flint is amazing with his recall and trained very well. Yes he is reactive to other dogs, can be easily distracted with his toys and calms down soon after. He doesn’t mind a cuddle in the evening and loves snuggling up under the blanket with you. Harvi is a beautiful cat with a special character and likes to do his own things. We had a wonderful time here and can recommend the Housesitt :)
We were very lucky to get to housesit for Kat's beautiful home and garden! Unfortunately we never got to meet Kat in person but she was very responsive on Whatsapp and we did get to video chat with her prior to the sit. During the sit the hose broke & some unwanted pests kept attacking the veggies, Kat was so quick to order a replacement and pest control for us. The garden is beautiful and looking after it was not a chore because of all the beautiful produce growing, that we got to harvest and eat while staying! Their home is in a lovely and quiet part of Brussels which only took about 30 minutes to get into the centre. But there was many things nearby that made it easy enough to not have to go into the centre. The farmers market on a Sunday was incredible! There's also a forest at the doorstep for some great walks. We loved sitting for Kat and couldn't recommend sitting for Kat enough!
Sheardrum is gem of a place. Beautiful nature every where you look, a different kind of peaceful and quiet. The only sounds you hear are from the animals, there is no background noise. The three dogs are lovely companions. They are gentle, loving and totally undemanding except for play. We love them and already miss them. We are also going to miss watching sheep grazing in fields, chickens and guineafowls freeranging and ducks chasing each other in the creek and endless fetch the stick games with the dogs. Swallows nest in the yard, a big white bird (an owl?) lives in a big birdbox in the huge three in the corner of the vegetable garden and naughty crows watch the hens to steal their eggs. Thank you very much Clare and Ali for inviting us to your farm. we are very happy to have made friends with you and for the opportunity to experience a piece of heaven.
Thanks for having us Josie and Alex! We've had a lovely time! Harley, Bonnie and Teddy are so much joy to spend time with. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. The area is peaceful. Just a perfect stay.
It was a pleasure sitting for Matt, Jo & the cats: Jasper, Lola & Betsy. They are such a pleasure to look after. Each has their own personality and are affectionate and adventurous in their own ways. My time spent at Erin and Brendans home with all their very lovable fur babies was full of furry cuddles and snuggles and wet kisses! Brendan was away so I didn't get to meet him. Erin was incredibly welcoming and a warm kind soul treating all creatures with dignity and respect. Everything in their very tidy home was organized and it was easy to follow her well written instructions about all the four legged companions. The furbabies, all rescues! are very well cared for, and it shines through in their personalities. Knoxville and Captain were fun and sweet and Squirrel LOVES getting brushed. Teddy and Marley were a hoot to be around and it was so easy to lavish them with love and attention cuz they return it so joyfully. Thanks Erin for being such a great host and Mom to your furbabies.
