Catherine is a perfect kitty cat sitter! And she took perfect care of the house and plants as well. Our cat, Anthony, is pretty selective, but he took to Catherine right away. She has taken care of our home twice already, and we feel blessed to have found her. We would totally recommend her for your next sit.
Beautiful and comfortable house in very nice location, we could not ask for more. The three dogs have very good characters, they are very loving and easy to take care of, we shall miss them. Danya and Matt were excellent hosts, they made us feel very welcome and we could really make ourselves at home. My children loved and enjoy this sit, 10/10. we would definitely come back. A delightful sit! The dog, house and area are all wonderful and I really feel like I’ve had a little holiday. Scout the dog is a great buddy; he has ample spaniel energy for nice long walks but is also very happy to ramble around the plethora of local footpaths, to chase a ball or stick on the field or to visit a cafe. Scout is a sweet chap, on our walks he was happy to trot alongside me or just ahead and kept checking in with me, and seemed to enjoy the company at home, snuggling on the sofa. I was impressed with Scout’s neutral attitude towards livestock in the fields. The house and garden are beautiful, the house is surprisingly warm. The location is great and offers versatility for peaceful strolls in the hills and woodland, or a very short walk to the picturesque village of Shere with a range of cafes and pubs, or only a 15 minute drive to all major supermarkets and amenities in Guildford. I had planned to take Scout for some outings in the car to National Trust places or to forestry walks, but found there was no need for this as, throughout our week, we discovered new paths and routes every day, starting from the house. The information provided was accurate and helpful. This sit and Scout would be a treat for anyone, it provides a peaceful location with the option of a hiking buddy or a pub buddy :) Thank you so much for the break!
This was our first sitting and we throughly enjoyed it. Communication with Anita was smooth and easy. Rory was an affectionate dog who loves to play, full of fun and easy to take care of. Walking her is such a pleasure. We spent lots of time out and about Malmö and we could take her everywhere, on the bus, boat, train and for her a new experience, in the car. In restaurants and cafés she would be the perfect guest. She looks so adorable wherever we went people fell in love with her. It was difficult not to pack her in our bags and take her home. Both Roland and I were sad to say goodbye.
Marta y Miki fueron excelentes, nos permitieron quedarnos a dormir en su casa el día anterior a que empezase el sitting, dado que su vuelo salia muy temprano el dia siguiente, y el dia que terminó el sitting tambien, ya que nuestro vuelo salía muy temprano el dia siguiente; también, ese mismo dia, cocinaron un cocido muy rico para los 4. Nos explicaron todo a la perfección, desde como llegar a su casa desde el aeropuerto, hasta como usar el lavarropas. Son super amable y agradables, pudimos coincidir con ellos y charlar y pasar tiempo con ellos junto a Simba y Zizu. Simba y Zizu son un verdadero encanto, desde el día que llegamos entraron en confianza super rapido, y fueron muy cariñosos desde el minuto 1, frontandose contra sus pies o pidiendo mimos. Son gatitos muy tiernos, curiosos y juguetones, sea jugando entre ellos, con un corcho o con sus peluches, aunque también son un poco traviesos ajaja. Como tenemos la oportunidad de trabajar desde casa, es una maravilla poder pasar tiempo con Zizu y Simba y jugar con ellos a lo largo del día, verlos dormir pacíficamente, jugar con ellos y mimarlos, son realmente un encanto. La casa es super espaciosa, sobretodo para que los gatitos correteen, y tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar, también tiene un balconcito muy lindo para comer alguna tarde. El barrio es super completo y precioso, una verdadera maravilla, y tan solo quedo a 20min en Tram del centro. Sí tienen la oportunidad de cuidar de ellos, no lo duden, no se van a querer despegar de ellos ❤️
I had a lovely time at Josie’s place. She was nice enough to pick me up from the station and spend show me around the house before she left. It was great chatting to her, such a kind, warm-hearted person. The star of the show is of course Mowgli. He is a very handsome cat who stole my heart immediately. 🥰 The house is very nice, equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. And the garden gets the sun almost all day, I really enjoyed chilling there. Highly recommended sit. Thanks for everything, Josie! 🙂
