Tamlyn and Brad are very warm, welcoming and generous people. We stayed over the night before the sit began, as they had to leave at an ungodly hour the next morning, where we all got to know each other over a delicious home cooked meal and glass of wine or two. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

Although not essential, where possible we do prefer starting a first sit with the owners in a way similar to this. It gives us all a chance to get to know the house, pets and of course each other. On subsequent sits it's not so important, but still welcome...

The instructions provided were detailed and specific. We find this very helpful as we know what to do in all situations, meaning we can relax and enjoy the sit. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, very tastefully decorated, warm and a pleasure to be in. The kitchen was probably my favourite room. It makes you want to cook. It's lovely. If you work remotely like us, the office has super comfortable chairs, large desks and views out over the fields. There’s loads more about this incredible house, far too much to go into in this review, but take it from us, it'll be a tough job to find better.

The location of the house is away from the nearest town. It's peaceful, with lots of walks. There's a small town with a couple of pubs, shops etc, nearby. The locals we met on our walks were talkative and friendly.

And now for the important bit:

Kosan the slumberly: Likes to sleep, seriously, likes it a lot. He's adorable, loving, calm, easy going and loves a cuddle. It's a bit of a job to get him to go out when it’s wet as he doesn't like to get his feet wet, really, I'm not joking. And if it's raining, you don't stand a chance. Once out and off the lead he runs about and enjoys himself. Recall is excellent and he's good with other dogs.

Oh, and he likes to try and sit on your lap, just his rear end, with his front legs on the floor. Believe it or not he can do this as his legs are so long. He's so funny, he made us smile and laugh every day. When it came to the end of our sit it was hard to say goodbye to Kosan, he really grows on you.

Gidi - The affectionate: Lives mostly in the house, focused on her feeder. She's an affectionate feline. Will always approach you for a cuddle every time she sees you. Likes to have a snooze on your lap of an evening. Kosan loves Gidi! Gidi will 'buff' her head against Kosan, it's utterly adorable to watch.

Of the 30+ sits we have completed so far; this is one of the best. Thank you so much for selecting us. We would very much like to sit for you again if the opportunity arises.
