This was a fantastic housesit. Chelsea and Hal, the homeowners, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed the minute we walked in their front door. They were both friendly and easy to be around. They provided us with fantastic accommodations and a well prepared home manual. They encouraged us to explore the area and made many suggestions which we greatly appreciated. Sophie, their dog, was a joy to be around. She was probably the easiest pet we have ever taken care of. Sophie has a doggie door and needs no walks. She is a lovable dog and we miss her sweetness and cute antics. It doesn't get any easier than that. To top it all off, they have a cleaning lady. One of our best house sits.
This sit was great! Anne and Richard are wonderful hosts, they're pros at this and did a walkthrough of the house and left written instructions. Even when they were off the grid they gave me a heads up and connected me with their daughter which worked out great. Their home is lovely, especially the outdoor space/garden, and you can't beat the location in North Queen Anne. Super walkable and easy public transportation. The cats were the best! Kelly and Finn are sweet and easy, very cuddly and well behaved. I've rarely had cats sleep so soundly overnight, they never woke me up. Kelly developed an eye issue and he tolerated me rubbing ointment on his eye, certainly not the case with many cats! Highly recommend this sit and would be happy to return :)
