Monster by name but nothing could be further from the truth regarding his character. He is the most easy going human loving dog ever. This was a very easy straight forward sit, short but very sweet. I was naturally attracted to spending time with a french bulldog having been a previous owner of one for 13.5 years and although I can now truly say I love all breeds and am still eager to discover other that I have yet to know, there will all be a special space within me with a frenchie especially like Monster. Arturo the cat was very loving and affectionate too and I think this was probably the first time i had both a dog and cat sharing lap space on me at the same time Rachael was excellent in her communication, quick and clear. She and Jeremy have a very comfortable, super quiet, very clean, well appointed home. The deal base . Thanks again to you both for your trust in me. I highly recommend them.
Our house/pet sitting on Briebie Island was like something out of a dream, the island is truly beautiful and captivating. It is the exact place we needed to relax and feel at home. Everything relating to the communication was perfect, we had a phone call to find out some details about our responsibilities and agree on our arrival (Kevin picked up and brought us to the bus/train stop); they also gave us a complete and detailed document of the house, the tasks, the island and everything that Ava needed. We felt extremely comfortable and at ease in your home, the house is spacious, tidy, clean and bright. With all the necessary amenities for our stay. Ava's behavior was a 10, luckily we were able to adapt to her routine very well and she also to us, we really enjoyed the daily walks, the picnics in the park, the games in the yard and the quiet moments. Waking up and seeing her so excited filled our hearts with joy and was the perfect way to start our days. Thank you very much Ava for your lovely company during our stay, we enjoyed it very much and it filled us with energy for our next plans. And of course, thank you Kevin and Anitta for opening the door of your house to us, letting us enjoy and get to know the beautiful island. Clearly, it's a yes to this house/pet sitting!!
Claudia, Matt, Laszlo, and Milton were a lovely pet sit family. Claudia and Matt were both very kind, easygoing, and communicative. Their home is lovely and in a very walkable downtown-vibe neighborhood...with a suburban safe feel. Access was easy. Instructions were clear. Everything worked while I was there. Parking was not ever an issue. And there is a lovely coffee shop a block away. The kits are beautiful, charming, and quite independent. They want cuddles on their terms but like to be nearby. I worked in the office most days and the cats slept in the room keeping me company. They are slow to warm for pets and cuddles, but friendly and curious while they do it. And when they do come around for a lap, you feel extra special. The cats slept outside the bedroom and I never heard a peep out of them until the morning. I'd happily visit with the lads again.
I had a great time looking after little Bosun a happy little chap who is great company. Marina and David welcomed me the night before they left with a meal and an introduction to Bosun and the house. They made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Chantry is a warm and comfortable home with a big garden for Bosun to run round and play fetch. Bloxham is a lovely village to explore close to Banbury and the Cotswolds. I would be very happy to return in the future and spend more time with Bosun. Thanks Marina and David
I really enjoyed this sit. Anik and Liz were awesome hosts, and made me feel very welcome. Communication with them was great, before and throughout the sit. They were friendly, easy-going and helpful; leaving clear, thorough instructions, and answering any questions I had, in a very timely manner. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, and in a very desirable location. The Marina with beautiful sunsets, and grocery stores, shopping, etc, were within walking distance, and there were also easily accessible bike paths, buses and Uber/lyft/scooters close by. Efi, theIr beautiful blue point Siamese kitty and I were companions for a month. I was told before the sit that it would take her some time to feel comfortable, etc, so I was sensitive, careful, and encouraging. Eventually, she warmed up to me, sat on my lap, followed me, became talkative, etc, and we became great pals. I was sad to say goodbye and hope to return to see her again one day!
