It was such a pleasure to care for Charlie. She is a beautiful dog with a very sweet nature. She enjoys her walks along the lake shore and is very well behaved on the lead. Val and Bill were very welcoming and generous. I arrived the evening before their departure and they gave me a detailed tour and instructions. It was a pleasure to get to know them over dinner. They left thorough written instructions and excellent guides to the area. They were available and responsive during the sit. Their home is very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Their location on the shore of Lake Macquarie is lovely with a spectacular view across the water. Thank you Val and Bill for a great experience! I highly recommend this sit.
We had the pleasure of a pet-sit at Elisabeth's and it was an absolutely lovely experience. From the moment we met Elisabeth, her warmth and friendliness made us feel like we were reuniting with a long-time friend. Her apartment is not only comfortable and beautifully maintained but also ideally situated next to a forest, perfect for enjoyable walks, and conveniently close to public transport. Caring for Luna and Daisy was an absolute delight. Luna, with her relaxed demeanor and love for cuddles, and Daisy, the adorable 'fruitcake' who kept us constantly entertained and ever left our side, won our hearts completely. It was difficult to say goodbye to them as we truly fell in love with their unique personalities. We would be thrilled to sit for Luna and Daisy again anytime!
The house is absolutely beautiful and the kitties (Opie & Freddie) are such sweet kitties. Jodi was very responsive when we had a question. At first the feeding & meds sounded a bit complicated, but it really wasn't at all. I would love the opportunity to sit for them again some day in beautiful Santa Fe. And, the house is very close to downtown and everything you might want to see and do in Santa Fe.
Thanks to Bingbong and Cristina, we were able to make beautiful memories this winter. BB is one cutest and smartest doggo. From day one, he came to us right away and we had wonderful time together till the end. Cristina is very kind and sweeet host. We could always tell her what we needed and communicated witout a hitch. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable. You can get almost everything in the complex and walking distance. Thank you again, Cristina, for having us to spend time with the most adorable Bingbong.
House sitting for Sara and Carlos was an absolute delight! Tita is the most gorgeous cat and we bonded straight away. Sara and Carlos are a super nice couple and were always checking in to make sure that everything was okay and that I was comfortable. They were also very helpful when I was having trouble working some appliances. The flat is in a great area, right next to brockwell park which is perfect if you love running or walking. I’d happily house sit for Sara and Carlos again!
It was great to arrive at the home of Lemise and David and find it welcoming and spacious. Best features were my own bedroom, great shower room, well equipped kitchen and a deck where I could sit and watch the birds surrounded by trees and tropical plants. The home is in a good neighborhood adjacent to a reserve. I rented a car but didn't drive much - mainly to the Botanical Gardens, local bush walks and the shopping mall and supermarket. Without a car the shops would be about a 20 min walk. Lemise and David were excellent communicators and left plenty of information, and notes about the cats. Anoushka and Delilah were good companions. They had unique and different personalities - Anoushka was the feisty one and Delilah sweet and gentle. Thank you Lemise for trusting me with your home and cats.
