Inge and John were the ideal house and pet sitters. They were honest, efficient, knowledgeable, curious about our animals and active in responding to our detailed descriptions of what was needed from them. Both John and Inge were definitely animal people and formed, from the outset, initially positive relationships with our 3 parrots and our goldendoodle - they- our pets - responded well to the housesitter's style and knowledge. They left the house in immaculate shape. They went out of their way in helping us - two examples, 1) taking the car we let them use into the shop to get tires replaced and 2) managed our African grey well, with some advice, when she laid two eggs and took to sitting on them. John and Inge were very interesting and warm, and we enjoyed getting to know them. They were very active and took our dog Molly on many of their walks. Due to problems with airline schedules we regret we were not able to have a farewell dinner before they left - we all were looking forward to that. They went above and beyond our expectations, and we feel we have made new friends. We would recommend them without reservation to anyone using their services.
Micha and Annett were great carers for Lily. They immediately struck up a rapport with her and were good communicators whilst I was away.. I’d be happy to invite them again.
