We loved our time at Jess & Ben’s beautiful home looking after Delia and Farthing, the chooks, sheep and Guinea fowl. Jess made sure we had all the info we needed plus we had a tour with Ben before they left. Walking with the dogs was great fun, Delia was a bit reluctant at first but soon got into the swing of things, and Farthing likes to walk himself! Lots of great walks straight from the door which is a bonus. Farthing is full of energy and love and Delia a bundle of puppy sweetness, they have their crazy, zoomy moments, and then were quite content to snooze on the stairs or in the sunshine in the garden for the rest of the day. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, a lovely blend of old and modern. Jess’s children kindly let our son play with their toys and read their books. Lovely views from the house over the Severn Valley. Garden was bursting with blooms and produce. Jess kindly left is with a welcome pack of goodies. Lots to do locally, you won’t be bored! Produce market in Stroud is a must.
We had a wonderful time house and dog sitting for Marnie in San Marcos. Both of the dogs are so sweet and pleasant to be around, very low key and know their routine so it is easy to stick to. The house is lovely with a beautiful back yard for lounging and reading. Marnie left us great instructions for everything and was a very clear communicator about expectations and in response to anything we needed during our stay. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our time at Kathryn's place, she has a beautiful property. We became so fond of Beaux and Lily, they have so much personality, and they love to play. Enzo is cuddly and just a really chill guy! The cabin is cozy, and looks out over the stunning Columbia wetlands; the tranquility and nature made for a really lovely getaway. Thanks so much, Kathryn, for having us!
