This sit was all we could ask for and more, a beautiful house and even prettier garden, lovely pets, great area and Simon and Ali were really welcoming. Lizzie the dog was a pleasure to walk on the lead and there are fab woodland walks right by the house. We were lucky to housesit in the height of summer and Ali and Simon were kind to allow us to eat the produce from the garden which was incredible. A lovely sit all round.
We really enjoyed staying at Kath’s place and hanging out with sweet Ultanna/Snuggles. Alexandria Bay was a lovely town within easy walking distance where there was plenty to explore.
Kirsty and Roger were fantastic hosts! We had a yummy dinner with them before they headed off and were introduced to the lovely puppies Henry and George. The dogs were delightful and we had such a fun time looking after them. Kirsty and Roger live in a beautiful part of the world and we loved seeing the countryside around their farmhouse! It was a pleasure to look after their home and pets.
Loved this doggo and home. Highly recommend a sit here. Cisco is so well behaved and very easy with his doggy door. He loves to cuddle. The house is clean, well stocked, and cozy. The backyard is beautiful. Communication with the owner was great. House responsibilities are minimal / reasonable.
Meeting Brad, Lauren, Willow & Kai the evening prior to sitting Marley & their home was great. Marley was a dream, very affectionate & easy to care for. An enjoyable relaxing sit was had in a wonderful location. I also enjoyed feeding & filling the bird bath for the bird life that they have encouraged to their home. All the best, Cheers Garry.
Pratyush and Vasundhara were very welcoming and explained Ollie's routine when I arrived. We had good communication before and throughout the stay. Ollie came bounding up to me, full of energy. He's very talkative and loves attention. After his walks he's super cuddly and affectionate and sleeps on you if you join him on the sofa. We got into a good routine and he enjoyed playing in the dog park, running around in the snow together and watching movies in the evening.

I am always scared to leave my dogs in a kennel, especially since they are older and my one dog has Cushing's disease which requires medication. I was instantly at ease when I was told they have an animal with it, also. I dealt mostly with Kacy and you can tell she has a genuine love of animals. She sent me pictures and captured one of the best pictures of my older dog. My dogs made friends while they were there and they weren't clawing at the door to leave, which says a lot to me. I don't know how to explain this, but my older dog seems to have reversed in age. She's moving around easier and is acting like a pup again. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for peace of mind while you are on vacation.
We have used Bridgewater boarding twice now. Our kitties seemed well cared for and happy. When I called to check on them they made me feel better as I was really missing them. Thank you for being so good to cuckoo and tippy.

We had a great experience for my 6 dogs for their one week stay at Bridgewater! The owner/staff are really friendly and reassuring. Our dogs and the other dogs there seemed comfortable and happy!
The wonderful people at Bridgewater treat my rambunctious puppy well, giving him lots of positive attention and making sure he gets safe exercise time.
They really took good care of my dog and cat when we went on vacation. It's nice, that they let the dogs have a playtime together, out in the yard. Awesome staff and awesome boarding kennel. We will use them for our future vacations.
Bridgewater pet boarding went above and beyond to make My lab puppy Maize very comfortable and they loved him! Maize definitely misses everyone there and I want to thank everyone for taking amazing care of Maize. We have a (large puppy) doberman and we were so hesitant to take her anywhere. We found Bridgewater pet boarding and went there to check it out first. I’m so glad we did. They are great and our Zeta just loves it there. She has new friends now! When she hears us say “doggie day care”, she jumps up and is so excited she can hardly contain herself. She’s been there several times and overnight. Kacy is exceptional and she clearly has a love for animals. Read update below. Update from original review: in December of 22 and January of 2023, Zeta went there again. Within 2 days she started to become ill. Kacy had Covid but the dogs were already exposed. it is harder to test for it on dogs but she got very I’ll. We had to rush her to the vet where they treated her for a virus. Unfortunately she progressively got worse and worse. I notified Bridgewater immediately but the damage was done. It was all bronchial. We had to take her back again where they ran more tests and X-rays but she wasn’t responding. 2 1/2 months later and two Z-packs later she finally got better. Bridgewater isn’t the cleanest place and I doubt thorough cleaning was done. I can’t in good conscience recommend them. Our dogs health is very important to us. We have since found an exceptional boarding facility that is super clean and she gets exceptional care. Now instead of being in a kennel all day except for potty breaks, she gets to play all day long in the indoor and outdoor yards and only goes in the kennel to sleep at night. And it is super clean.
We always board our aging St. Bernard here. She’s well cared for and has plenty of space! She loves the doggie pool and all the great attention she receives. I can go on vacation feeling at ease knowing our big fur baby is in good hands. I highly recommend Bridgewater Pet Boarding.
When we lost our cat unexpectedly, our vets office organized cremation services through Country Kennel. I just want to commend them for being so thoughtful about something that is so painful yet important to us. Our boy’s ashes were returned to us in a beautiful metal container with everything labeled, we got a clay paw imprint, stamped paw prints, and a card. I’m grateful we opted for a private cremation and now get to have these mementos of our beloved family member, and I’m extremely grateful to Country Kennel for handling it with such care.
No frills quality care facility. My dogs and cats are comfortable in their home away from home. I trust they are watched and cared for every time I drop them off. The owner and staff all know us and our animals and I feel good about who is caring for them. The dogs run to the kennels when they arrive. I know they are excited. Always reasonable.

My pets have been coming to this kennel for over nine years now. The owner is a nice guy who cares about our fur babies. He and his staff makes sure our pets have all their shots and a current poop sample that is clear of parasites, etc. Which is peace of mind for us and our pets. I would highly recommend them. We love Country Kennel Pet Care. I’ve boarded my dog and my two cats and their experiences were positive. The friendly staff are welcoming and very in tune with animals. They were so careful to make sure that my dog was comfortable before an overnight stay. Really experienced folks and clean facility.

We go through Country Kennel for all of our family's needs when a pet passes away, for over 15 years now. Mark and his staff have always been compassionate and kind to our family. We recommend them whenever someone is looking for any service that they offer.
Country Kennel does a *wonderful* job taking care of our doggo when we are away (she hates to travel). We have them play with her twice a day, and she loves Michelle, Mark and the whole staff. We feel ultra comfortable leaving her at this kennel when we have to be out of town.
