Had a wonderful experience caring for Lilly and Rose for the week. Both older cats, and happy doing they're own thing. Lilly and Rose both enjoyed their time exploring the outdoors and although it took some time to come out of their shells, they both welcomed gentle pets once more comfortable with me. Communication with Farmand & Patti was easy, organized and timely. They are so kind, caring and considerate - making you feel at ease in their home. The neighbourhood is situated in a quiet area with friendly neighbours, with some walking trails. Their home is very well kept and organized. Would highly recommend staying at Farmand & Patti's place and caring for Lilly and Rose.
Super sweet pooch! Easy to care for & loves the dog beach. Home is comfy. Anthony & Tara are friendly & great communicators. The neighborhood is gorgeous. Would love to come back.
What a wonderful house / pet sit this was with two amazing Corgis that I did not want to end. I initially met Kelley, Chuck, and Charlotte during FaceTime and could tell that they are loving and caring pet parents to Oliver (Charlotte's mom) and Jasper (Kelley and Jasper's pet parents). I was so blessed and grateful to house / pet sit for them over the Christmas holiday. Kelley had completed a meticulous, detailed, and brilliant Welcome Guide which included all the information I needed to care for their home and precious baby boys. The hosts invited me to their home a day before their departure—and they even offered to treat me to dinner. However, I am not much of a dinner person, but the offer was greatly appreciated. Their home which is spacious and clean, is located in a safe and friendly neighborhood. The guest bedroom and king bed was comfortable and I appreciated the additional drawer and closet space. In addition, stores, restaurants, and shopping are just a short drive away. Now on to the superstars: Oliver and Jasper stole my heart from the start. Good luck on not falling in love with Oliver and Jasper, who I fell hopelessely in love with. When I first saw photos of Oliver and Jasper and read about them, I wanted to meet them immediately and was so happy when my application was accepted. In meeting the awesome duo of Oliver and Jasper, I was greeted with happy jumps and when I sat on the couch, they both tried to find a spot on my lap. They took to me right away and I to them as I felt a strong connection with them. Over the course of the week, we bonded, became fast friends, and they gave me so many smiles and laughs. Oliver and Jasper are intelligent, sweet, adorable, charming, and handsome boys with mesmerizing beautiful brown eyes. I was always exicited to start my day with the boys as I knew it was going to be a fun day. Both boys are well-behaved, highly energetic, entertaining, fun-loving, and happy-go lucky pups. Each day, we enjoyed multiple walks throughout the neighborhood taking different routes/streets. Even the freezing temperatures or rain could not deter or slow us down. The boys do pull on leash, particularly, when they get excited in seeing a squirrel or anything moving in sight. During our walks, I noticed that Oliver was more actively seeking to chase something, while Jasper actively sought to sniff/smell anything he could. They reminded me to actively go after what I want, but at the same time, take time each day to enjoy the little moments in life—such as smelling a flower. :-) The boys love car rides and were great in the car. I used dog seat belts (provided by Charlotte) which worked perfectly for them. We enjoyed adventures at Big Lagoon State Park which has a nice walking trail and going to a nearby church to play chuck it / fetch in the spacious grassy area. Both pups are super fast and extremely athletic--Oliver seemed to never tire of chasing the ball and Jasper never seemed to tire of playing defense against Oliver. (LOL) The boys are so much alike, but different as well. For an example, they both love playtime. Oliver loves to play with his frisbee, tennis balls, and tug of war. Jasper loves his squeaky ball and other squeaky toy animals. If I threw the squeaky ball, they both chased after it (even though Oliver didn't really want it) and Jasper would retrieve it and play keep away from Oliver. If I threw the tennis ball (Jasper didn't really want it) they both chased after it and Jasper would aggravate Oliver by playing defense. Whatever toy I threw for one, the other would interject—even though he didn't want it—just wanted to keep the other from getting it. They really are little comedians. (LOL) Their mannerisms are so similar—example, they both were napping, heard a FedEx truck and both woke up the same time. (LOL) It was so cute watching them with playful shenanigans with each other. While Jasper is the younger of the two, he certainly can hold his own against his older 'brother'. Yet, during moments with cute kisses to each other, it was evident that they truly love each other. :-) Oliver and Jasper enjoyed lounging/napping near me on the couch in the living room. They both would race to sit on my lap; Jasper always won. Jasper is more of the affectionate lover of the two who showered me with kisses and laying his head on my lap. However, Oliver would find a way to squeeze in and nudge my hand to pet him and also gave a few kisses. Oliver and Jasper enjoyed my brushing them. They love their treats / meals. They eat in separate areas to stay out of mischief. They follow commands extremely well and won't begin to eat until they are given the sit command along with "Oliver come" "Jasper come" while pointing towards their food. They also have good recall and waiting / staying when asked. I loved loved loved this house / pet sit. I loved sending daily photos / videos of their activities. Pets like Oliver and Jasper are the reason I am a TrustedHousesitter member. They are canine treasures. I love them and told them so every day. There is a saying that "Dogs Leave Pawprints on our Hearts". Well, Oliver and Jasper definitely left paw prints on my heart. They are such special boys of joy and love. Fighting tears on the day I departed, I missed them the moment I left. If you have an opportunity to house / pet sit here, do not hesitate to accept an invitation or submit an application. You won't be bored or disappointed here.
Annabelle’s home is delightful and her Portuguese Water Dog is great fun. There are amazing walks around KIngsclere and an excellent shop ,hairdresser and pub in the village just yards from the house. The hens are easy but would come into the house in an instant! We had a lovely time , thank you so much.
My stay in Flagstaff with Rosie and Quinn was great! The dogs were very fun and playful. The house is clean and comfortable with miles of forested trails right out the front door, yet still just minutes from downtown. Steve was very clear, helpful and supportive. Highly recommend this house/pet sit if you get a chance!
This petsit was one of the highlights of our year. Simon is a bundle of unadulterated joy. He’s affectionate, loving, and trusting. Basically, he’s perfect! He loves people and wants to be around you - as close as possible. Philippe is a wonderful, no-fuss cat that enjoys attention, petting, and brushing. He sunbathes like a Roman God after a feast - it’s spectacular. Bruce and Andrée-Anne are extremely welcoming and hospitable. We felt immediately at ease in their home. We sincerely hope to cross paths again! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.
