Derek took care of my home and 2 dogs while we were away for 5 nights. This was our first time using TH, so we were nervous. But Derek was amazing. He was easy to coordinate with, he stayed in touch the right amount, and he took great care of my dogs. They loved him, too! Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time in Piedmont with Sunny, Holly, Jackson, and Gadget! Julie made sure we had all the information we needed, she even made us videos to make sure we knew exactly what to do. Sunny is the sweetest Golden you’ll meet. She loves the dog park, going on hikes, and telling you she loves you with her Fluent Pet (seriously so cute!). Jackson and Holly are very easy, sweet old pups who love attention and their walks, and if you’re a cat person, Gadget will be all over you! He’s the cutest, most affectionate one eared cat we’ve met. Julie and Greg have a beautiful home (not to mention the amazing decor!) in a great neighborhood with lots to do just walking distance away. It’s also a great location for exploring San Francisco! We highly recommend, you’ll have a blast and fall in love with their mini zoo :)
We loved our time at Lori and Kauri's and especially their little kitty, Matty. Their home is out in the country where it is quiet and peaceful. There can be power outages in the winter and they heat with wood, which was wonderful. We were accustomed to these living conditions and loved the warm wood heat on those winter days. Matty was a constant entertainment and we both agreed the smartest feline we have ever cared for and very loving and cuddly. Lori and Kauri are special people and their gentle spirits and good energy are a presence in their home. Wild turkeys and a herd of deer were in the yard almost every day and we even saw a fox. If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a wooded setting this is the place for you. If schedules allowed we would welcome the chance to spend time there again. We feel we have added to our chosen family.
It was a pleasure to be Buff's buddy for a week. He is such a good boy and well mannered. Although he is a bit older, he still enjoys his walks and rolls in the grass. He does likes his naps though. Dave and Michele's beautiful home is very well-maintained, very clean, and beautifully located on the banks of the red river. Plenty of wildlife to observe, and it was nice to spend time watching the birds at the birdfeeders. The squirrels were also happy to get any seeds that fell from the feeders. The flowers and deck are also a beautiful addition to the outside area I would definitely recommend this sit for anyone that would like a nice relaxing visit. I myself will spend time with buff again if the Opportunity arises. Thanks Dave and Michele for the experience and welcoming me into you home and getting the pleasure of spending time with Buff
I can't believe how lucky I've been to get the chance to stay at Niki's and Chris'. Both the owners and their doggies couldn't be more welcoming and warm. I enjoyed a whole weekend of lovely doggies company and the Netherlands nature hosted in a beautiful and charming house. Thanks again, Niki and Chris, and I am really looking forward to coming back soon!
James and Joanne are wonderful people and made me feel welcomed as soon as I arrived. They were very accommodating and showed me where everything was in their gorgeous home. They also left detailed instructions for anything that may need to be addressed including contact info for nearby neighbors. Sophie Grace is an absolute delight! I enjoyed her company immensely. She is a lot of fun to play with and we became fast friends. She is a wonderful dog and I would definitely love to look after her again! Thank you James, Joanne, and Spohie Grace for such a wonderful experience!
