We can only describe it as the perfect sit! We literally felt at home from the very beginning, like we knew the dogs and this family forever! Tim, Debbie and their daughter Jas welcomed us with a delicious dinner while we were getting to know each other. This family is simply amazing! Really thoughtful, friendly and fun! They shared with us very clear instructions and the communication with them was perfect. What to tell about our beloved George and Guinness…They are super smart, fun and sweetheart dogs! Our bond with them was incredible, and as soon as we met them, we fell in love! You'll get all their love once they get to know you (for George it took one day and Guinness was just right away). They love to wander around the 8.000 m2 plot or just chill on the deck or in the swimming pool area. Guinness and George have their own internal rules, and depending where they are in the house, Guinness or George will be the top dog. Debbie has everything written down so it's super easy to handle. The walkies will be short since they are getting older, but they will enjoy them! The house is super comfortable, cozy and with French charm. The heated swimming pool was an enjoyable bonus. It was perfect for us since we worked from there and spent the whole day at home. During the weekend we went a few hours to Hossegor and Capbreton, which is only a 30 mins drive. We could not have asked for a better family and doggies, so we would be thrilled to stay again at Tim & Debbie’s place when they go on vacay in the future. Huge thank you for everything! We highly recommend it!
Claire and Jeremy were super friendly and very easy to communicate with! We absolutely loved getting to hang out with Momo as he’s a fun and entertaining cat, very easy to take care of. Would definitely housesit again.
We had a great time with Odi, he was a breeze to look after and a real character. Sandra gave us a thorough handover and showed us a few good walks nearby, she has a lovely home which is walkable into Penzance. Hopefully we will get to sit again sometime.
I had a wonderful stay at Laura's with Mack, Taz and Little Bear. Mack and Taz, discerning at first, soon warmed up and were sweet and lovely to spend time with. Especially fun to play with them and their toys. Little Bear got a little spooked by having me there ( he's relatively new and had a hard back story) and hid most of time. Laura told me where to put his food and at least I know he was eating ok. Laura was friendly and communicative with thorough instructions how to care for the cats and house and easy to contact with any questions I had. Her house is beautiful and comfortable and in a great neighborhood with restaurants, grocery and shops nearby. I would be happy to stay with "the boys" again anytime!
Firstly, thank you Kathryn and Andrew for accepting our application for Andrew and I to pet sit and look after Georgia and your home. You both made us very welcome when we arrived the day before for handover which was very thorough with an excellent info pack. Georgia is an absolute pleasure to look after, and take out for day trips and walks. She is content to be harnessed in the car , friendly towards other dogs and people and well behaved in cafes and pubs. She loves to play , chase and return a ball either when launched from her automatic pitcher or thrown in a field. She has a very loving character and will always take the opportunity to sit with you on her rug or your lap. The house is warm , cosy and comfortable, and situated in the middle of an idyllic quiet Cotswold village with plenty of pleasant walks right from the door. The garden is private and perfect for relaxing after a days outing. Nearby Cirencester and Cheltenham are within easy driving distance through the wonderful countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our sit with the perfect dog, in the perfect house in the perfect village and we would be very happy to pet sit again without reservation and highly recommend this pet sit to others.
I had a fantastic sit for Kari Colin and the fabulous Max. Kari and Colin were super laidback had everything set up for an easy sit explained everything and were so kind. The apartment is great super location but Max is the star. He is a beautiful dog who loves his walks and is up for anything. Max loves the beach, dog park, Marina green and anywhere you want to take him. Be prepared for people telling you what a beautiful dog he is!!! Thanks for a great weekend with the fabulous Max. I will definitely sit Max again
