Arthur is a big goober of a dog and I love him! I had such a great time at this housesit and it's because Arthur is so sweet, hilarious, and loving, and Sarah is super nice. She's a great communicator and I knew exactly what to expect and how to best take care Arthur, which was very easy. It's only been two days but I miss that gentle giant already. Sarah's home is in a convenient and nice location. I didn't have a car during this housesit and it wasn't a hindrance at all. Her home is a five-minute walk to a grocery store, several restaurants, and a library, and the bus to Boulder is right up the street. There's also a big park in her neighborhood with lots of birds (if you enjoy birdwatching). I enjoyed walking Arthur every morning and seeing the red-winged blackbirds and hear them trilling. Sarah's home is clean and comfortable. My favorite part about her house is that that the guest bathroom on the second floor has a long, high window in the shower and the sunshine felt absolutely glorious when I showered in the mornings. I highly recommend this housesit, especially if you love big dogs.
We had a great experience at Natasha's house. Communication with her was excellent, and we enjoyed the company of Max and Godofredo as well. The cats are very cute and clever, each with their own unique personality. We loved getting to know them and had a lot of fun together. The town is very peaceful and pleasant. We are grateful for the wonderful experience and highly recommend it to other Pet Sitters.
I loved taking care of Luna, she is really beautiful and warmed up very quickly to me. The flat is very clean, super cosy and nice, with lots of plants and cute furniture. I also loved exploring Crystal Palace…lots of amazing cafés, yummy restaurants and cool shops, but most important a lot of nature to wonder in. Chloe’s neighbourhood reccomendations were perfect and being with Luna was a treat.
Had a great time at Lili and Jonny’s place! Gorgeous home and Stevie is a little gem. She’s such a sweet little cat and super easy going, friendly and great company.
The description of the sit is completely accurate. The home is a work in progress. It does have everything you need though but be prepared for it's unfinished state. Jasmine was excellent though, she communicated regularly before and during the sit and was very open about everything. Ru was our personal favorite, she hung out in the same room with us normally and was super sweet. Martha is also super sweet and cuddly and just wants to be on the couch with you cuddling most of the time. She also has very selective hearing and a ton of energy. Ozzie mostly kept to himself and only came to us when he wanted something but did accept pets when offered Bella took the longest to fully warm up. She accepted pets right off the bat but was indifferent to them until our last day when finally we were near friends all of a sudden. Overall I'd recommend the sit. It is conveniently located and the pets are great.
We had a wonderful sit at Yvonne and Randy's gorgeous home. They are both so kind and accommodating. Communication with them was easy and timely. We were impressed and delighted by how well prepared they were for our sit. We felt right at home with them and their cute little dog Dodger. Feeding and care instructions of Dodger were clear and simple, everything in the house was impeccably organized and easy to find. Dodger was charming, sweet and warmed quickly to us. He enjoyed snuggling on our laps too. He's also fun to play ball with and overall he's a happy guy! Dodger was energetic and well mannered on walks. He does get excited and wants to chase after FED X and other delivery vehicles as they pass, we were informed of this and to keep him on a short leash. We followed instructions and we all did just fine. The neighborhood has beautiful views of Monterey Bay. If you like to climb hills (which we do) there are some good walks just out the front door. We would love to watch Dodger again in the future, this was one of our favorite sits!
