This was my first time having a stranger stay at my place, so this was a big deal for me. I had a good feeling about Kyle from the start and was excited about the idea of helping a fellow Bostonian see the unparalleled city of Austin. Like me, he works from home in the healthcare industry. I had the privilege of meeting Kyle on the first day of the sit. I found him to be friendly, funny, and affable. As this was my first time having a sitter, I texted Kyle details of the apartment and pet care as I thought of them. I appreciated him baring with me through this as I am working to now compile a user-friendly guide. Kyle was sure to communicate frequently. He updated me often about his arrival and departure and also sent pictures of himself with Gypsy during the stay. He also gave me a heads up about having someone over. The only questions he had were about the laundry, which evidently was the one thing I didn't go over. He was self-sufficient and attentive to the fine details of the apartment and the care of my cat. Kyle relieved the stress of stress of separation anxiety my cat goes through when left alone, therefore relieving me of inevitable guilt. My cat seemed to be at ease when I returned home. I could tell she missed me, but she did not seem stressed whatsoever! As Kyle promised, the apartment was not only just as clean as I left it, but cleaner. I have a bad habit of stuffing my recycling underneath the sink and procrastinating the removal. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kyle emptied the whole thing. In this he must have discovered I'm a beer drinker because he also left me a 6 pack! Not only this, but he left a bunch of food, which is great because I'll eat anything you leave in my apartment. Would absolutely have Kyle again. Highly recommend him to give you and your pets ease when traveling.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Jessica take care of our home and our cat, Roxy. From the moment she arrived, she showed extremely great care and attention to detail. Roxy can be a bit temperamental and slow-to-warm to strangers, but Jessica handled her with ease, and we could tell she truly understood how to care for animals (in fact we are convinced she is a cat whisperer!) Jessica also kept our home spotless. We were incredibly impressed by how organized and tidy everything was when we returned. We received daily updates with beautiful photos, which gave us peace of mind and showed us just how reliable and thoughtful she was throughout the sit. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jessica is reliable, responsible, and went above and beyond our expectations. Joan was a great sitter for our two cats. She communicated frequently and sent pictures of them daily, which was very much appreciated. She also vacuumed, laundered her sheets and cleaned the house thoroughly after only a four day sit, which was above and beyond the call of duty. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Joan to anyone considering her. We'd be glad to have her sit for our cats again.

Charlina and I adored our sit with Beezit and Hazel. The house, backyard and general location are lovely and close to Lakeshore Ave. 

When we first arrived, the girls were hesitant but as we built trust over the first few days they became comfortable, confident, and the sweetest little house hosts ever. Beezit is the sweet faced, sun-bathing and majestic sister and Hazel is the endlessly happy, rambunctious and bubbly sister. 

Together, they were quite the pair: affectionate, silly, and so very fun to spend time with. They love catching a sniff together and getting pets at the same time. Hazel doesn't go to the back to go pee by herself, but it's easy to put her on the leash and bring her back. Always well worth her joyful run back into the house. 

Beezit is quite the snuggler and will eat up words of affirmation, both girls love compliments and there are endless good things to say about both of them. If we got the chance, there's no doubt we would sit these precious girls again. We miss them!! 

Laura was a wonderful host who took care of every minor blip immediately, despite being across the ocean. We are so very grateful!

We had a very relaxing stay while house sitting for Andrew and Darrah. It was nice to get away from fast-paced life and opt for beautiful Durango, Colorado. Andrew and Darrah live in a beautiful home only a couple blocks away from everything going on in downtown Durango. It’s a gorgeous area to walk with their pups, Pippa and Biscuit, who are absolute sweethearts.

In order to properly care for the home and pets, you’ll need to have a flexible schedule, as Honey, the kitten, is fed 3 times a day (as of writing this). We found ourselves spending lots of time at home with Honey, Biscuit, Pippa, and Edgar. It is a gorgeous, relaxing home to hang out in!

We really bonded with the pets, who all have adorable personalities. Pippa is very cuddly, affectionate, and she always wants to hang out with you. She can be territorial and vocal sometimes (mostly with honey), but is overall just a super sweet dog. Biscuit loves to play tug of war with his toys, and although he is a bit more independent than Pippa, he loves to be included in cuddle time. He's such a cutie. Honey is so tiny and cute. She is very curious and playful, but loves to cuddle once she’s tired herself out. At the time of our stay, we administered oral medications twice a day for Honey.
Andrew and Darrah even offered to have the local vet assistant come administer the medications, but we were happy to do it. At the time of leaving this review, she now only needs medicine once every other night.

Edgar, the chameleon, is quite the fascinating companion. We felt so grateful that Edgar trusted us enough to come out of his enclosure and get some sun nearly everyday of our stay.

Andrew and Darrah were great hosts who were very responsive, helpful, and very understanding and accommodating when any questions or concerns came up. Also, the house was clean for us upon arrival, which we really appreciated.

Overall, Andrew and Darrah had a great energy, and we would love to sit here again if given the opportunity. We really loved the pets, and we miss them a lot.

Pippa was such a darling. A really friendly sweet companion. Toris house is lovely, and has everything you would need including a great garden. Highly recommend sitting for Pippa if you get the chance.

We so enjoyed this sit! Hayley was a great host & made sure we had everything we needed. Harley is such a gentle & sweet dog- a bit shy at first but she’s very food motivated and was quick to warm up. She was cuddling on the couch in no time :) Very nice & quiet area close to walks and bus links but Hayley’s home is so comfortable, we were content to spend most of our time there. Definitely recommend this sit, thanks again for having us!

We had the most incredible time at Judith and Nick's. We absolutely fell in love with Stanley and Charlie, they are such loving companions, with big differing personalities. They were up for longer walks, even with little legs, and we got to experience the beautiful countryside walks surrounding their home and beyond. Lodsworth is a stunning village with a traditional delicious pub. 

Judith and Nick are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome, we felt right at home! It is a beautiful and comfortable house with everything you could possibly need, including wellies in every size, which came in handy. 

We miss Stanley and Charlie so much already, their cuddles really are like no other! They were so good and adapted to us being in their home quickly. Thank you for such a great house sit.

We had a wonderful time watching Anne and Dave's home, along with caring for Amber, Bella and Kitty. Both pups were simply adorable and sweet and we shared many cuddles throughout our time with with them. Although Amber is 15, she still likes her short walks along with her toys and loves to be groomed. Bella enjoys her daily walks, but then is perfectly fine snuggling the rest of the day. Kitty, on the other hand, takes a little while to warm up to you. However, once she does, she likes her cheeks scratched and enjoys sitting next to you on the couch. 

Anne and Dave's home was in a beautiful part of Prescott, with gorgeous views! It is a very safe neighborhood in a gated community. Also, their home is split level which is very convenient for having your own space. 

When we arrived, Anne and Dave were very hospitable and we enjoyed our evening together before they departed. Communication was excellent as well and just overall very nice hosts. 

Would highly recommend sitting for Anne and Dave if you get the chance! 😊
