This housesit was a lovely experience. Gogo is a very sweet cuddly little soul who relished a good walk. Stunning house in a very pastoral setting. I enjoyed meeting Mary who I found to be gracious and considerate, making sure that both Gogo and I could enjoy our time together........and we did.
I enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful time at Anne's comfortable home with stunning river views and cats Minnie and Jasper for company. Neither are lap cats, but pleasant to be with and to have nearby during time in the garden with it's many blooming flowers. Anne and her husband were exceptionally generous, providing some groceries, the opportunity to pick fresh lettuce and herbs, and an additional night or two in the room after the house sit, with pickups and drop offs in the city. Occasional visits from their friendly relatives prevented me from getting lonely during an extended stay. The alarm system kept me feeling especially secure. Bus transportation from the nearby stop and a somewhat longer walk into the village with pub, restaurants and a supermarket meant that necessities were within reach, as well as trips into Cork City. I recommend Anne's lovely house to cat lovers experienced in the ways of shy cats.
Annabelle is very friendly and gave clear instructions for the care of her precious dogs. She made me feel very welcome in her beautiful home which is in a great neighbourhood. I really enjoyed looking after her 3 little dogs who are all very cute and were content relaxing on the couch with me or sleeping on their big bear. Freddie loved going for walks each day and Sampson and Henry, (both older gentlemen) seemed to like following me around the kitchen when not napping. Must not forget the chooks! Amusing to watch and extremely low maintenance. Over all a great house sit. Thanks Annabelle.
A very comfortable stay! Billy is a super sweet and easygoing dog, I really enjoyed playing and spending time around him, he has a lot of energy and always ready for a walk ;) and Roger is very cute and caressable🫶🏻 Annie was very accommodating and show me everithing since the moment I arrived, l felt very comfortable doing this housesit. The place is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Housesit 100% recommended. Thank you Annie!

The property is located close to many interesting hiking trails and beautiful beaches. Eagles, hummingbirds, sea lions, deals, sea otters, deer and even a bear were seen during our stay. A few times we even heard the whale calls at night time. We had great weather in November!
