Theresa is a very caring and competent housesitter, and we were very happy that she was our first-ever TH sitter. She is capable and highly self-directed, which we especially appreciated since we were out of the country for most of the sit. Our slightly fearful rescue dog and our cat both bonded with Theresa, and she even let them sleep on the bed with her (with our blessing). She had to deal with some cold and snow, but still managed to get our dog out on regular walks. Our critters were happy and healthy when we returned, and Theresa left our home clean and tidy. We thank Theresa for her conscientiousness and have already recommended her to another TH pet parent in our neighborhood.
So grateful to have been welcomed into Lauren’s home. The guest room was comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. All directions were clear regarding medication/supplements for the dogs. Overall a very low-maintenance house sit considering the size of Lauren’s little family of animals. Enjoyed the backyard pool immensely in the heat of the desert summer.

Sally and Barrie were wonderful and welcoming hosts. I enjoyed staying in their beautiful home. The dogs were very well behaved and I went on some gorgeous walks with Liquorice. Twix is a wonderful big boy who is very affectionate and loves to be around people. Liquorice liked to snuggle next to me on the sofa in the evenings. I cannot recommend this house sit enough!
My experience pet/house sitting for Janice and Lynn with their precious kitties, Bodie and Seth was filled with with content purrs, evening snuggles, and furry pats. A dream for a pet sitter! Janice and Lynn's home is beautiful and very clean. I had all the comforts of home, including a garage for my car. This is a welcoming benefit given snowy winters in Maine. The location of their home is nearby to many Maine attractions, restaurants, shops, hiking trials, and the ocean. Janice and Lynn accommodated all my needs to make this a very comfortable stay. Most importantly, Bodie and Seth will steal your heart with their entertaining personalities and you will wish you could stay longer! I highly recommend this pet sit for someone who would like to experience the quintessential Maine countryside with all the comforts of home while spending time with two very dear kitties!
Chelcie and Lee made our stay very easy with a tour before they left making us feel right at home. Martini and Bellini were pretty shy at the start but warmed up to us pretty quickly! Sadly, our stay went super quick, but would love to look after martini and belle again!
This was an outstanding sit. Tom is a very relaxed and welcoming host, showing me around the property and providing a lovely meal the evening before the sit. The house has everything you would need for a comfortable sit, with various shops and supermarkets - and a great pub - a short drive away. Laszlo is great company. He can be very excited around other dogs and will also chase badgers if he gets a chance (it's in his DNA, after all!), so it is best to put him on a lead near other dogs or out in the valley and meadow, which form part of the home. At home he is perfect: very affectionate, with great recall and very well trained. The property is tucked away, in very beautiful and diverse countryside, reached by a farm track. If you wanted, you could go a week or more without seeing another person! "Paradise" is not an exaggeration. Laszlo's happy and relaxed company is joined by, (among others) badgers, a cheeky young fox and a very large Buzzard. This was a great sit and I would be delighted to do it again. Thanks, Tom.
