Fantastic sit overall and we had a great time. Lovely apartment in a fairly quiet and rural location yet easy to access and has unbelievable sunset/sea views. Jane and Tim are friendly, welcoming and generous and made us feel at home immediately. They were always easy to contact and communication was straightforward. Little Lola, is such a sweetheart and the easiest pup to look after. She's loving and very well-behaved. We'd highly recommend this sit.
Great stay with a loving pooch Gissepe and a sweet cat Cleo who'd rather be to herself. The host Zach was continually available to communicate, and the space is set in a quiet community nestled in a safe neighborhood with anything needed within a few miles. Overall a lovley stay!
Rebecca's place was great. I didn't even leave her neighborhood - there were so many things to see and do within a block or two. Kash was a delight and so easy to care for. He attacked me with kisses as soon as I walked in the door. He was great on the lead. You just needed to keep a few treats in your pocket if he got distracted. All in all, it was a great sit.
I had a nice stay at Miriana's place. Rocksy is a very sweet dog, loves company and is always happy to go for a walk outside. Miriana was also very available and follows up on any concern. She even helped me with the moving. The apartment is bright and clean, situated in a green area. Thanks a lot! Definitely recommended.
The first sit I applied for was with Deborah and Graham's lovely cats, but as it's a popular sit, I didn't get the chance until 15 months and 8 sits later. It was definitely worth the wait. I found Deborah and Graham to be a warm, friendly couple, who gave me accurate information in good time before the sit and were quick to communicate and respond to any questions I had. I felt I was treated with consideration and respect throughout. The cats are beautiful. Bertie is quite shy and often sat on Deborah and Graham's bed. He did come downstairs sometimes, particularly encouraged by the offer of Dreamies or something he'd noticed going on outside. He let me stroke his head a couple of times as he got more used to me. Millie enjoyed her head being stroked and combed, as well as playing with her toys. The house was clean, warm, well equipped and with some beautiful paintings to look at. Together with the lovely view from the back of the house and from the garden, it made for a very relaxing stay. Although it rained quite a lot during the first half or my 4 night stay, I enjoyed a morning outside in the large, lovely garden when the sun came out, picking apples and enjoying the fantastic view over the valley. There are food shops a short walk away, as well as plenty of very interesting shops, cafes and pubs in Haworth. There are plenty of places for walks nearby. I enjoyed a scenic, circular walk to Oakworth and back, passing Oakworth Station where The Railway Children and its recent sequel The Railway Children Return were filmed. I enjoyed the conversation with Deborah and Graham when they returned, as well as some very tasty apple cake Graham had made. Deborah kindly gave me a lift back to Keighley train station. I can highly recommend this sit and am looking forward to another sit with Bertie and Millie later this month. Thank you Deborah, Graham, Bertie and Millie.
I had a wonderful time house sitting for Nicolette! Her home is gorgeous - like something out of a magazine. Elio and Vilianelle are sweet and low-maintanence cats. They're independent, but appreciate the companionship, and they're super cute. It's possible to do this sit without a car (a city bus comes every hour) but I wouldn't advise it. The bus service is infrequent and the home is built into the side of a mountain, so it would be quite a haul without a car! With a car, the house is an easy drive to downtown Portland. It's also walking distance to local hikes. I would definitely sit for Nicolette again!

Niki dog sits for us and she’s great with our shy/nervous rescue dogs. Shes very patient and very good with them. First off Niki is a literal angel. We used Niki/Humble Hounds for our wedding to care for and bring our pup Bellini to our wedding venue for photos and over night boarding. Niki was so professional, on time, and helped us to feel so comfortable from the start as this was Bellini’s first overnight without us. She was a wonderful wedding attendant and I would recommend her to anyone. She even took the time to send photo updates and create a custom wedding gift from our pup. Niki was absolutely phenomenal with watching our dog, Coco for 2 separate family vacations we had planned. Niki goes above and beyond to make sure our fur babies are well taken care of! I cannot say enough about Humble Hounds! I am so happy I was recommended to use their services. I definitely do not regret a thing! I was so hesitant at first. I am one to never ask for help. I recently went from one dog to two. Phew! Not easy but wouldn’t change it for the world. Now that I have humble hounds to help out. it has been truly helpful. To know I found someone that is trustworthy, reliable, respectful, kind, friendly and more! All great things. It is so easy to use their app! They communicate very well. Niki was amazing! She took care of my 2 dogs and 3 cats while I was out of town. All my animals loved her, she took such good care of them. She was great communicating when she was on her way and always sent updates and pictures. I will definitely continue to book her for future pet care needs
Niki and Jayda at Humble Hounds are a perfect fit for me, always timely and with the energy to match my growing puppy! Although he still enjoys breaks in the shade, his ability to have productive walks has improved tremendously thanks to Jayda's dedication and encouraging demeanor. I needed a dog sitter for the week of July 4th and even though I asked about 3 weeks before, Nikki found the time to schedule me in. We have a regular dog sitter so I was hesitant to use any one else because we love her so much! Kareena was our sitter through HH and she was AMAZING! She sent reports and pictures of my sweet happy pups at every visit. She was very patient with my little guy being only 7 months old crate training but still having some accidents. I can’t say enough about HH and the comfort I felt leaving my boys after day 1. I will 100% use them again and also refer my friends to them. Mark is amazing with the animals he cares for. My dog is very attached to me and has severe separation anxiety, but she loves being at Mark's so much, she doesn't even give me a second glance when I'm leaving. She loves going on walks with Mark and the other dogs. She is very well taken care of (and maybe a little spoiled) by Mark. I wouldn't take my dog to anyone else, and I highly recommend him and his service.

My dog loves the place. She sprints to the front door as soon as she gets out of the car. Very friendly staff that takes good care of our hound. The added bonus is she sleeps for a full next day because she is so tired from playing. In addition, the dog taxi service if I get stuck at work and overnight dog care from Mike Murphy has been an added convenience that makes going away much more relaxing knowing our dog is in good hands
Great people. Nice place. Great price. The only problem is that my dog ended up with abrasions on her paw. I had her veterinary check her paws, and they said it is from running on a hard surface like cement or concrete. Like I said, they are great.

These guys do a great job! Each morning the staff is super happy and energetic when we bring our French Mastiff Gordon in each morning. Very fair prices all the way down the line and they provide lots of services...like grooming and even a doggie taxi. Good job A+!
I have been sending my dogs to Paw Play for many years. Jenn has always been amazing with her support and assistance. Mike can always be counted on with a moment’s notice. My dog loves Devin and Jena and Michelle so much as well as all the staff that I never have any worries when I bring her there. Most days when I pick her up she wants to stay because she is having so much fun! I would (and have) recommend them to anyone!! Such a great place!!
River and Griff have been going to Paw Play weekly for a number of years! The owners and staff members are extremely friendly and caring. River and Griff have learned a lot of social skills and get along better with other dogs because of this experience. Our dogs are always excited to go and tired when we pick them up! Just the way we like it! We also appreciate all of the photos they post! It's exciting to see what our pups are doing while away from home.
We have been going to Paw Play for years.. First started with grooming, which Melissa always does a great job,her and her staff are great with the dogs... we also have used the Mike to come and let our dogs out during day as well as taxi service to day care and to stay with our dogs while on Vacations.. our dogs love him and so do we!! What can I say about the day care.. our dogs love to go!! Jenn and all her her staff are awesome!! The “kids”, as referred to,have a great time and come home tired... We would be lost without them, Great Place.
Our 3 fur-kids LOVE Paw Play !!! We have been using their services for almost years . Daycare, pet taxi, pet sitting, and groomers ....we use all of these services and couldn't imagine trusting anyone else. Mike Murphy and Sara Oaks have both provided at home pet sitting and knowing they are with our babies allows us to have a stress free vacation, whether it is for just a weekend or 10 days they definitely keep our doggies happy !! Pet Taxi is perfect if they are at daycare and you are working late or going away for the day . You can feel at ease knowing your fur baby will be brought home safe and sound . Spa day !!!! Sara and Melissa always make sure the kids not only smell fantastic but that they also feel safe and enjoy bath time !!!! All the staff at Paw Play really care about all the dogs in their care . I do not know what I would do without Paw Play! Over close to 15 years, I’ve never been disappointed! And, now that they provide training classes, taxi, pet sitting, and home visiting services in addition to daycare and grooming, it’s everything I need. The entire staff is 100% focused on what’s best for my dog. Jen, Mike, Jena, and John have all pet sitted for me. Their flexibility and willingness to help are priceless. It gives me great peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. I can’t say enough good things about Paw Play! If my dog could write a review, he would probably say he prefers Paw Play to home!
I love Sarah's Pet Sitting for taking care of my fur babies when I am away. I am extremely fortunate that they have sitters who can take care of guinea pigs, because many pet sitting services do not. All of the sitters we've had have carefully followed the instructions for their care. The service request process is straightforward and rates are reasonable. I also love the reports that they send for each visit that generally includes pictures and a short video. And it's clear that the sitters who come to my house really love and care about animals. My piggies have gotten used to their sitters. And often come up to them looking for food and begging for treats. I know this is a service I can trust and will continue to use as long as I have piggies and live in Connecticut!

From dog walking to training Sarah's is top notch. No one wants to need someone else take care of their pets, but Sarah's is the only service I trust. My silly rescue pup loves his walker and they have built a great bond. With their help I am also making huge strides in training my guy with positive means only. I recommend them to anyone.
They are the best. They take the time to get to know your pets. They then report back and send pictures after every visit and include updates of what they did during their visit (empty litter box, filled their treat ball etc.). You schedule each visit within a 2 hour window, so your pets get to eat at the same time they are used to eating. Great easy to use app to update pet profiles, request what you want done for each visit, and pay. I have tried other sitters (friends, neighbors etc) and never quite knew what was going on, or came hours late. I will never again use anyone else. If you want peace of mind while you are away, these are the folks!
Sarah's Pet Sitting provides a great service for those of us that can’t bring our pets on travels. After each service visit I got an update on how my dog was doing (eating, drinking, bathroom, general mood and behavior) and which activities took place. It was personalized, so I knew there was a lot of genuine interaction with my dog. And it included photos of my dog being his best self. Highly impressed, much relieved, and will use again.

When we got married, we were so thankful for Katelyn and the attention she gave our boys (who are never away from us for more than a few hours)! As a sitter myself, I absolutely love working for Sarah’s! I love every single client I work with, can’t tell you how much I love this job, and it’s the highlight of my day to be with everyone’s amazing fur-babies! I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them all sorts of love, affection, and good conversation! I know that this treatment towards pets goes for all of Sarah’s sitters too, which is why I am both a sitter and a client! The administration staff is supportive, professional, and caring for both pets and employees. As an adult with a wide experience of employment , a couple of degrees, and an array of hobbies, this is, hands down, the most enjoyable job I’ve ever had!

They even send photos of your fur babies after every visit, which is my favorite part! The mention of “school” and my doggo is at the door waiting and ready to go! If he could drive himself there I think he would! 😂 He is always excited to go and just as excited to come home. You know the saying, “A tired dog is a well behaved dog.” He is always well tired when he comes home and it shows he has had a great time. The staff are great there and always happy to see him! My boy after a great day/night boarding this weekend.
Our dog Cocoa just spent a week at Camp Canine and had an amazing time. We’ve been dog owners for over 15 years and never boarded and we’re incredibly nervous. Camp Canine made sure to keep us updated on how Cocoa was doing and took such incredible care of her. She’ll definitely be back to have more fun! My dog Jack (mixed 40lbs) loves going to daycare. I just recently had him boarded for four days and I felt so at ease knowing he was in good hands. They asked great questions to make sure he got the best care (dinner preferences and medication needs). Jack loved his vacation at Camp Canine and I’ll definitely be bringing him back for daycare and boarding as needed.

Our dog Leonardo started going to Camp Canine as a puppy for training. He fell in love with the trainers and we decided to try the day care. OMG ... not only did he see some of his puppy friends from training classes but he met and fell in love with the Camp Counselors. Leonardo's happiest days are when he goes to Camp and plays with everyone. He also loves his spa treatments when he gets deep tissue massages, teeth cleaned and so much more. There are says we feel that if he could drive he would drive himself to the Happiest Place on Earth ... Camp Canine.

I would like to express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided. The team was able to accommodate us on very short notice and demonstrated great compassion regarding our situation. I was given a tour of the facility, which was not the case at other locations I considered. They attentively listened to my concerns about my dog's leg, which had previously undergone surgery, and ensured that her food schedule and supplements were administered as instructed. I also appreciated receiving regular updates and photos whenever I reached out. Katie was fabulous, as well as the other two women at the front desk we encountered. Our dog returned home happy and healthy, and she is completely herself! We look forward to bringing her back for daycare and boarding in the future. Thank you all for your outstanding care!
Our rescue Roxy is very fearful and aggressive towards strangers. We rarely have company in our home to spare her the anxiety and to prevent guests from possibly being bitten. We were planning a family vacation down the road and weren’t certain if we would all be able to go. After many searches we decided to reach out to Paws pet resort to try out a playdate . We were waiting for that phone call every mom does not want to get from their child’s school. We held our breaths when the call came and to our surprise (and we were extremely surprised), our Roxy had the time of her life. She was such a happy girl. We’ve now booked her for our vacation week and added weekly play dates. Can’t thank Paws enough
We had to travel to SOUTHINGTON and needed a place to leave the fur babies for a few hours. This place was highly rated with great reviews and was professional and personable at the same time. They contacted us with a mid day report. They did with pics and a voicemail message. A happy dog is a tired dog and our two fur babies were pooped.
I would like to recommend Paws Pet resort for the wonderful job they did taking care of my Nutella. Her first time away from me since I had her 5 years ago. I had surgery and needed to stay overnight. This group put my worries at ease and treated her as if she were theirs. She was there 3 nights and enjoyed playtime and treats with all her caretakers. All 3 of them.Thank you so much. Your baby will be well cared for with this group. ❤️
Today was Luci’s first visit. She is 2 years old and very anxious around strangers. We are very impressed with the staff. They are all so pleasant and knowledgeable and caring. Luci spent a half day and got a 1 1/2 hour play session in the yard with other dogs her size! There are two staff in the yard with them watching out! This is great. Scheduled a full day next week. We think this will help Luci develop in important ways. Very pleased! 🐾
My pup was so happy to stay at Paws. I called them looking for a place to board my pup after not being able to find a pet sitter in my home. They were able to take Bailey practically last minute and allayed any anxiety I had about boarding her as Bailey is a very nervous dog. All staff were kind and welcoming.
Stella loves coming here! It has been consistently positive for her as she is in great spirits when I pick her up. I also love how the staff sends photos keeping us reassured that all is well. The 'report card' at the end of her stay, is unique and ❤ caring!

I was quite apprehensive about leaving Misha for the first time anywhere so, I called Misha’s vet and asked her if she could recommend a place. Without hesitation, she recommended Best Friends pet Hotel in Avon Connecticut. I called and asked lots of questions. It sounded right. The morning I dropped Misha off, the attendant assured me that she would be well cared for, and I could call during the week as often as I liked to check on how she was doing. I waited a couple of days before calling and was told that the first day she was Not happy and not eating. From day two on she was happy, loved to play with the attendents and was eating well. No problems at all. I highly recommend Best Friends pet hotel. I plan on going on a three week vacation and will board Misha there for the entire time without any concerns for how well she’s being cared for.
We have used Best Friends in Avon for over 20 years with 2 different dogs with totally different personalities. Our current dog is very shy. But he is a climber. They have found ways to manage him and keep him safe. They love him and all the dogs. I recommend Best Friends Avon.
We booked a stay for our 2 goldens last summer while we were out of town and they had the best time! We got photos for reassurance, which was so nice. One of our dogs would get hives whenever he would be boarded or even went grooming because he would get so nervous, but this never happened to him with Best Friends. They come home happy every single time! We can’t recommend Best Friends enough!!

This was the first time using best friends pet hotel in Avon CT and overall it was a pleasant experience. My dog had a great time and they said she was an angel there and was very social with the other dogs. Fair with pricing including added in perks. Only minor issue would be difficulties finding out the drop off hours and even though we got there later they told us for next time and still checked her in with no problems.
Very comfortable leaving my small dog there, they are very kind and gentle with him. I can call and check on him and they never make me feel uncomfortable. Staff is great!!
The team at Best Friends Avon takes excellent care of Sandy both during doggy daycare AND when she boards overnight. We know she is extremely safe and happy because they take the time to know her and care for her on individual basis. LOVE Team BF Avon!
My dog loves going there. The staff Is amazing, especially Angel and Destiny. It’s very clean the dogs are very well taken care of and they have so much fun playing outside. I even had my dog room there and was very pleased.

So much better than boarding my dogs in a kennel. Corinne was great! You could definitely tell she cares. Would recommend to anyone looking for pet care while they are away! She even did a photo shoot with my dogs while watching them.
With the crazy world as it is today, I was a little nervous about having a stranger come to my house. But when I met Corrine and saw how professional and caring she was, I was immediately reassured. My two dogs and cat all took to her immediately. The true test was with the cat - she doesn't immediately warm up to people, but she did with Corrine. The experience was great. She even brought in the mail! The animals had so much fun with her and I know they were well taken care of. Corinne sent several pictures from each visit and sent me a message as soon as the visit was complete. I felt very connected. I wish Corinne all the best in her endeavor as a pet sitter. I will continue to call on her when we travel!!!
Corey has been a lifesaver for our family. Our now 9 month old golden retriever loves her and wiggles out of her own skin when Corey pulls in the driveway! She has helped us as we negotiate the wild days and behaviors of our dog and always willing to try something new if needed for training. Ava adores her and we couldn't feel more lucky to have found Corey!
I highly recommend Corinne! My dogs are my "kids", and always have peace of mind leaving them in her care. She'll text updates/pictures :) and let me know how they're doing which is always comforting. The smiles on their faces in her pictures completely reflect how they love her company. Corinne is very friendly, trustworthy and highly dependable. I know the boys are in great hands, and an extra bonus is she has vet tech experience. Definitely a five-star service!
Corinne is an animal angel! She is responsive, flexible, kind and caring! All the things (and more) that you’d want with someone watching over your furry friends. Oh and did I mention she has vet tech experience?! I have two cats and one is diabetic. That made it almost impossible to find someone who’d be willing and feel comfortable to inject my cat twice a day. So to say she’s an angel is exactly that. She treats your animals and personal space as if it was her own. Corrine also uses an app for her communications, documents and photo shares which is also a major plus. If you own pets then you know how hard it can be to leave them alone with someone new to you. Corrine enabled me to not only feel comfortable being away but actually so that I can enjoy vacations or long weekends because I have such peace of mind knowing my cats are in the best hands possible. Corrine is also very fairly priced!! Truly, do not hesitate to reach out to her and schedule a meet n greet.
Corinne was awesome! I will definitely be using her dog sitting services again. I have two rescue dogs that are skittish around strangers and I was nervous to try a pet sitter. Corrine took the time to get to know everything she could about my dogs. Corinne was patient, she took the time to come multiple times to get my dogs use to her before she came to pet sit, and was so great with them. I loved getting pictures of my dogs every time she went as well to reassure me they were doing great! 😊

You can tell how much she loves animals when she comes out to meet them and I was so happy with the care they received and the photos she sent while I was away. They were so well cared for and I was able to relax and enjoy my time away with no worries.

We utilized Corinne’s pet sitting services for our cat, Lincoln, while away for our honeymoon in St. Lucia. This was only the second time we’ve been away from our four year old baby boy and Corinne helped put us at ease with her detailed daily updates which included photos. Corinne is such a pleasure as a person and she did a wonderful job taking care of Lincoln. Not only did she feed him and scoop his litter, she spent time with him everyday to play, give him love, and made sure our big fluffball was groomed and clean. She checked and brought in our mail for us without us even asking. You can feel at ease leaving your babies in Corinne’s care. We will definitely book Corinne as a pet sitter again for our next trip away from home.
So happy with the services of Purressence. My dogs, Monty and Hazel, look forward to visits so much! Our meet and greet was wonderful and they were willing to work with Hazel's stand offishness. Since working with Purressence, she has become so much more social just from visits. They take their time with my elderly gentleman, Monty, and he is so much better for it. They manage to accommodate each dog's needs and it shows. They are easy to work with and have been excellent with communication. We have not needed to use the in home sitter service but would not hesitate to do so! I would feel completely confident about the care of my home and animals. Several neighbors use their services and you can see the attention each dog gets. We appreciate you!
