Iman was communicative, professional, and completely self-sufficient. I came home to happy dogs a tidy home and my outdoor space was even beautiful. Everything is as we left it. You would be lucky if she’s available to take care of your home. I hope she wants to have a repeat stay she would send videos and photos and when we communicated, she was incredibly responsive.

Sherrie
Sherrie left us with an extremely clean and warm home. We felt so comfortable! Lord Amonte was the sweetest cat! Very low maintenance but loves cuddles and playtime! We enjoyed many moments together. He would come sit on my chest while on the couch, and he’d get the cat zoomies and we’d run around the apartment playing with his toys and my shadows. He’s funny and smart! I miss him already!

Ann
I had the absolute pleasure of housesitting for Ann Malloch from June 2nd to June 25th, 2024, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ann's welcoming, communicative, and organized approach made me feel right at home, and her clear instructions and thoughtful preparations ensured that everything ran smoothly. It was precisely as I expected from a fellow teacher!

From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Ann truly cares about her home and her furrylovebug, Josie. Her Welcome Guide provided all the necessary details about the corner-lot house and the daily routines for her Bichon-Frise dog, making it easy to settle in and take care of everything as if it were my own. Ann's communication was excellent, and she was always available to answer any questions I had, even from the North Sea, which made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Further, she put me in touch with two friends and neighbors who knew her home and her dog well. And they even welcomed me to their neighborhood, homes, showed me around town, and were sure to extend hugs and handmade gifts upon my departure. The neighborhood was well-lit, well-traveled for pedestrians with that city-long greenway, and dog-friendly. I felt safe as a solo female.

The house itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful neighborhood in Seminole, St. Petersburg. I particularly enjoyed the organization, modern cleaning supplies, and bright living spaces. Josie was well-behaved, affectionate, adorably bossy (which was helpful!), and added so much warmth to my stay. It was clear that she very much loved and well taken care of. Ann even showed me tips to lessen the barking at pedestrians while I worked from home before she left.

One of the highlights of this housesit was the strong sense of trust and mutual respect that Ann fostered. She provided me with everything I needed, went above and beyond with her kitchen offerings, and trusted me fully to take care of her home and pets, which made the experience all the more rewarding. Additionally, Ann's friendly and considerate nature made our interactions pleasant and comfortable.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have housesat for Ann and would not hesitate to do so again in the future so I'm grateful and humbled th invitation has already been extended! Her attention to detail, genuine care for her pets, and excellent communication make her an outstanding homeowner to work with. I highly recommend Ann to any future housesitters looking for a reliable and enjoyable housesitting experience... unless I'M available!!! LOLLLLL

Thank you, Ann, for a fantastic stay and for entrusting me with your home and beloved pet. I look forward to the possibility of housesitting for you again!

Lianne
Lianne was a wonderful host, had so much information about the area which was awesome! She left specific details for the dogs and was easy to communicate with regarding the stay. She was so kind to even have some food for us when we got there! The bed was super comfortable and the home clean and lovely. The dogs were the BEST - such cuddle bugs once they got comfortable with us! Great stay and great location.

This house/pet sit has been a long time coming, but was definitely worth the wait! Anne first made contact back in 2019 but our dates did not work, then the country closed down! I could not have wished for a better first house/pet sit back since Covid - Anne and Archie went out of their way to make me feel safe and welcome to their home and we shared a lovely meal together when I arrived.
Anne and Archie have a beautiful family home with unique architectural features in a peaceful country setting. I thoroughly enjoyed my daily walks with the two dogs, Ruby and Henry, exploring the surrounding woods and country lanes or just chilling with them in the secluded gardens basking in the sound of birdsong. The goats, hens and solitary duck were easy to care for too.
My week at Orchard House was exactly the panacea I needed after the deprivations of 15 months "shielding" along with relaxing between stressful visits to my mum in her Edinburgh Care Home.
I would jump at the chance to return to look after Ann and Archie's pets and home in the future!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The pleasure was all mine.

I am very happy I got to meet both of you before you left! Your welcoming me into the city was generous, warm, and inviting. Thank you very much for the warm welcome to your awesome neighborhood and beautiful home! The tips you provided really helped to make it an even more incredible experience for me. I also enjoyed our interactions throughout your trip very much and hope our paths cross again!

And those kitties!!! Oh, how I love them! I hope that you will remind them that I miss them and give them lots of hugs from me!

Take care and best to you all!

Soren
We cared for Ozmo for 3 nights. Ozmo is such a charismatic and affectionate kitty and hanging out with him was a real treat. Soren was very welcoming, and his instructions on how to best take care of Ozmo were very clear. His apartment was very comfortable and close to major train and subway stops. The sunsets are indeed breathtaking from his balcony. We had a wonderful time playing and cuddling with Ozmo and would do it again in a heartbeat. We will miss the little dude!
