I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Leslie’s with the most handsome Rufus. Rufus is a complete delight. Super friendly, communicative and sweet natured. A complete fluff ball of joy! Poor boy had a poorly mouth whilst I was there and Leslie and I were in good communication about it. The house is gorgeous, comfortable and has everything you need and is in the most idyllic setting. Leslie gave me lots of local recommendations and help and was always available to chat. I hope I am able to go back again!
We loved taking care of Storm! Don't let her name fool you - right from the get go she was sweet, loving & fun to be with. She was immediately accepting of our little dog Casper and very gentle with him.She loves her walks - there are plenty of great trails nearby so you can take her somewhere different each time. The area is very pretty - we were lucky enough to be there when there was still some bright fall color! Dave and Jaedin's home is well appointed and comfortable with wonderful big windows in the main living area that allows lots of great sunshine in and a pretty view. They left us very good instructions and were quick and easy to communicate with while away. Our time was way too short to take in more than a few of the many suggestions they had for things to do. It was really wonderful to take care of Duka and Kobus. They are both very sweet dogs and easy to take care of. Esther's house is located in a nice and quiet village but shops and the city of Hilversum are not far away. The house is comfortable and there is a large meadow at the back of it. We took the dogs to a beautiful nearby forest which was very enjoyable. The communication with Esther was smooth and we met before the sit for a handover. We highly recommend it and would love to come back another time!
Sharon and Mike were wonderful hosts and we immediately felt very comfortable with them. They have a Beautiful home in a great location. Their two pups, Dahlia and Shag were awesome. They always wanted to be with us, very loving and well behaved. We would definitely recommend this sit.
I had a great overnight stay with Bailey! Danielle’s apartment is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria with accessible coffee shops, grocery stores, metro station, etc, all in walking distance. Bailey’s a super gentle, easy-going pup who does her potty walks quick and efficient, and just overall very easy to take care of. I had a great relaxing time exploring the neighborhood and utilizing the amenities that the complex had to offer! Highly recommend a relaxing stay at Bailey’s:)
Caring for Whiskey and Duo was a joy. I got to meet with Shyam a few days ahead of the scheduled sit and he provided me with a tour of his home with Olivia, and thorough instructions on how to care for the furries. They were both available and responsive to any questions I had during their trip. They received daily updates from me with photos or video. The two cats were so distinctive in their personalities and it was fun to discover how they enjoyed being engaged with. Whiskey is quite particular about his pets and what I learned is to put out my hand and if he wants pets he would stick his head under my hand. He usually likes about 4 pets when he is standing on all paws you can pet his entire body and if he sits down he would like to only be pet on his head. In my experience, he actually prefers to be snuggled over pets. We had wonderful snuggle time on that comfy couch... and I found myself not wanting to get up for a long time as he was purring away so peacefully and cutely in my arms. He also enjoyed head butting me for loves. Duo loves his "man cave" until about 5 PM when he spends the rest of the night in the living room. However, when he got comfortable with me after a few days he was out in the mornings sunbathing and enjoying the head pets that he so loves. When he wants head pets he will let you know and although it may seem vigorous, he really just LOVES his head pets. When I would work during the day he would come up behind me and pat me gently on the shoulder to communicate he wanted loves, which had me absolutely melting. Shyam and Olivia's house was in a wonderful location, had everything I could want, and was enjoyable to stay in for the week.
