Owners Kate, Oliver, and Anna are very welcoming and kind. The house is comfortable with a big garden for basset hounds Maggie and Dotty to play in. Maggie is an energetic young dog who responds well to established boundaries while Dotty, 6+ years her senior, is comparatively lowkey and very responsive. Both dogs are very affectionate and caring so make for rewarding companions! Herbie the cat is a superstar of the feline family. He is a real character: affectionate, intelligent, and loves attention which we were more than happy to provide! Highly recommend this sit.

Looking after Milai and Jyoti was an absolute joy. The sweetest pair of animal companions. They make you smile and happy just being around them. They curl up in their bed when at home like little cats and out on the lead have lots of energy on their walks along the river into Lewes or through the woods which a couple of minutes from the front door. I spent a bit of time in a cafe on a sofa and they are the kind of dogs that curled up quietly on the sofa with me. In town we could hardly go a few steps without someone stopping to say to them such is their cuteness! Jennifer’s house is very cosy and comfortable. It’s in the middle of renovation at the time of writing this but that didn’t take away from the sit at all. We had everything we needed and Jennifer covered all details in the welcome guide which really helps. We loved the location on the North West edge of Lewes with quick access to the river and a 3 minute drive to bustling Lewes with all it has to offer of shops, cafes and a fabulous cinema, and in the summer a spring fed pool. Milai and Jyoti curl up quiet as mice at night time in the bedroom and are happy to be around you in the day. They jump on the bed in the morning to say hi and settle down to sleep a little more. They are incredibly affectionate, and love being stroked and cuddled. We are booked into come and sit for Jennifer again ( lockdown depending) and we are looking forward to another few days with these little gems.
Had a great sit! This was my first time watching Sphynx cats and I loved every minute of it. The kitties have such funny personalities and are a great mix between loving attention but also love their sleeping time as well. Holly is super sweet and responsive-overall I definitely recommend :)
