My stay with Chipie and Sasha in Kenley was short but sweet. Chipie loves to lounge in her favourite chair in the conservatory and to pop outside from time to time for a breath of fresh air. Sasha is the wilder of the two. He spends a great deal of time outside patrolling his garden, but when he heads back inside he wants to stock up on cuddles. He is one of the most affectionate cats I’ve ever met. Christelle’s cozy home sits in a pretty valley between Kenley and Whyteleafe and is walking distance to both. The area is blessed with ample green space and many walking trails, which gives it a rural feel in spite of being very accessible to public transport. Christelle is an excellent communicator and a very generous host. She welcomed me into her home the night before she left to ensure a smooth transition and allowed me to stay the night she returned to accommodate my travel plans. She also shared her holiday stories over a platter of French cheeses she brought back from her trip, which was a lovely way to finish my sit! Thank you, Christelle, for everything. I’d be happy to sit for you again!
Had such a lovely stay with Graham! He’s a very sweet and laid back boy, and he’s very well-behaved off-leash. Kristy and Austin were extremely kind and welcoming, and their home was a perfect place to relax and get some work done. 10/10 would recommend sitting for them!
I was delighted to be invited to stay at Hanne's home and mind her beautiful fluffy kitty. Hanne’s plans changed but she very kindly invited me to come and stay for the weekend and it gave me an opportunity to get familiar with the place. Hanne's cottage is set within the Burren with so much to explore on the doorstep, it’s a magical part of the world. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and I slept so well in the cosy bedroom. Misser is majestic, she is undemanding, spending most of the day snoozing and out in the garden. She is ready and waiting at mealtimes and enjoys getting brushed in the morning and before eating. Hanne and her ladyship have the most beautiful bond and it’s clear Hanne really cares about the natural world, this is reflected in how she lovingly looks after her cat, the land and creatures big and small. Her story is so inspiring. I hope to return and have more bonding time with her ladyship, more chats with Hanne and time to explore stunning Fanore. Grateful to have made this lovely connection 🐈 ♥️🙏🏻
Terri and Denali are an exceptional pair. Terri did a fabulous job filling out the welcome packet, and provided me with a ton of great suggestions for nearby hikes, restaurants, and grocers. I skyped with the her and her pup before confirming the sit, and could immediately tell I would enjoy caring for Denali. When I arrived at the house, I discovered that Terri had left me some delightful treats and a small gift! She was thoughtful and generous, and Denali was calm and sweet as promised. I should mention that I housesat in their old home in CA, so can't speak to the SLC home, but can absolutely confirm that the person and the pet were lovely. :)
Rolland and Holly are wonderful and kind people and I can’t say enough good things about my house sit. Hunter and Lily are probably the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. We had the best time having snuggles and exploring the beautiful neighbourhood. I loved the house and the garden! The house had everything you could possibly need and was close walking distance into town. I would love to sit for them again!
Christina has a very nice appartment in a quiet environment. Shops, trams and metro are nearby: in 10 minutes you are in the centre of the town. And above all: the cats are adorable!
