Lynda and Barry welcomed us with tea and cake on their delightful patio, complete with babbling fountain. And it just got better from there! Basil we fell in love with and would have adopted him in a heartbeat. A gentle and intelligent giant, Basil was always fun to walk. Lynda showed us the lanes and byways of the delightful hills before they left in the morning and they brought us a small gift of chocolates back from their travels. The house is a couple of hundred yards from a National Trust village, as cute and oldy worldy as you could wish for with three pubs on the small main street. We would definitely recommend this house sit.
Enza and Vic are an extremely warm and welcoming couple with a lovely home in a residential area, only a few minute drive from downtown San Mateo and walking distance to the Bay area trail. My time there was peaceful with a couple of day trips- one being out to Half Moon Bay which was only a 30 minute drive. Shelley was shy at first but after a few days warmed up to me and kept me company while I worked remotely from the back room overlooking the patio. Communication and organization is also a strong suit of this couple as that is how they keep Shelley in such good health. I recommend this sit to someone looking to connect to their hosts on a personal level and who is conscientious and loving towards animals of all ages. I look forward to seeing Shelley again soon!
Tricia and Peter have a beautiful home, it was truly a pleasure to stay there. Our room had lots of natural light coming in, and their lovely garden had zucchini and tomatoes come out while we were there! Early and Buddy are an absolutely precious pair. “Early is royalty” – as we were told when we first met him, and he definitely lived up to his title. We felt so honored when he chose to join us for the night! Buddy is Earl’s companion, and we loved watching them play together. Buddy enjoyed being combed, so it was really fun to do, and he also liked attention while eating, which was super-cute. We had great communication with Tricia and Peter before and during the stay. They were very helpful with our arrival, and responsive to anything that came up during the stay. We hope to be able to stay there again some time.
We thoroughly enjoyed this pet sit! Our hosts, Jennifer and Ken, welcomed us with an introduction to Sam, a tour of their beautiful large house overlooking the lake, and a thoughtful welcome basket. Once the sit began, they were always available by text and quickly responsive to any questions we might have. The welcome guide they provided was very comprehensive and helpful. Sam is a great cat! He warmed up quickly and was very communicative (sometimes he would stand on his hind legs!) when he desired petting, brushing, or feeding. Although not a lap cat, he was always chilling out nearby. Most of the time he was very calm and relaxed, but sometimes his kitten side would come out and he would zoom around and pounce on his toys. We were treated like very special guests. Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean with plenty of space for our clothes and toiletries. We enjoyed sitting on the dock or in the back yard watching the boaters and skiers and paddle boarders. The patio/backyard is an oasis with plenty of trees, plants, and bird feeders. We also enjoyed walking/hiking in Lake Norman State Park and Jetton Park and exploring Mooresville and nearby towns. We highly recommend this sit!
Awesome Atlanta sit!!! Melanie and Stephen are the sweetest. Their home is lovely and the pups Croix and Thomas are a joy to be with. The home is nestled in a serene and quaint yet regal neighborhood away from the city hustle and bustle while conveniently close to Atlanta's hottest happenings. Good Vibes all around-I'd do it all over again. Thank you Walker family for a wonderful visit and my first pet sit on TH.
I had a great time at Sara’s beautiful house and Princessa is absolutely adorable! I felt very comfortable and safe, the neighbourhood is lovely and the house perfectly matches the pictures and is squeaky clean! Princessa was a very easy cat, she is loving & playful! She was shy the first few hours but then quickly warmed up to us, even joining us for movies nights & snuggles :) I highly recommend this sit, communication with Sara was a breeze, house & surroundings were great and Princessa is simply a delight 💕
