Alexandra (and Brad and little Eva) did a fantastic job on our long 10 day sit! My dogs can be difficult, but they seemed to handle it all very well. I was a bit worried about Lila and her reaction to little Eva - Lilas has never really been around children. Initially, it seemed like Lila was not too sure what sort of puppy Eva was. Alexandra was not worried and eventually everyone got along well. We had a challenging situation occur while we were gone - there was a HUGE storm and water started pouring in through the ceiling. Alexandra and Brad worked with me to preserve our floors, and we got repairmen out there the next morning. After that, no more leaking and the crisis was averted. Thank goodness they were there to handle this - if not, we would have had significant water damage! I also liked how Alexandra checked in nearly every day with a picture of our dogs. I hope they had a great time in Asheville during the sit, which makes us so happy!
Jessica was a lifesaver, she was available on short notice and stayed four weeks with my two beagles. Very comunicative, self sufficient, organized and really good on following written instructions, and on top of that my dogs loved her. They went hiking, beach walks and car rides and had a great time while I was away. One of my dogs have a medical condition and Jessica had been administering meds during the whole stay without any issues. We also had a medical emergency during her stay with one of the dogs having to stay one night at the vet for a previous conditions, Jess was good making decisions and especially communicating with me during that time and after Gus was back in the house. I will definitely invite her again to sit for us again.
We have had no better house-sitters than Vanessa and Simone! The house was so clean on our return and the cats were contented. (They may miss their sitters?) We'd engage them again!
