Nancy was a delight to work with, from first emails and zoom to the final check in texts. Ari and Mira were wonderful, expressive, and fun to be around. It was easy to care for them and the house. Both of the girls were clear in their communication about wanting attention and were sweet about getting their needs met. Ari and I worked out what made her comfortable and I respected her boundaries. We got along fabulously. It was lovely to be there, such a fantastic part of the city, and I can't recommend getting the opportunity to work with and know Nancy highly enough.
Jill left very clear and complete instructions in her guide, leaving no questions about her charming beach cortage or sweet cats, Pacha and Pinto Bean, and Finnegan her lovable Labradoodle. The daily walks on the beach with Finn were great. It was impossible to not fall in love with him. This was the best sit yet and the high point of my summer.
Dan, Angela, Summer, Cora, Sebby and Ruby are such a lovely family and for sure I will keep in touch with them. They were so kind, stocked the fridge prior to my arrival, picked me up from the airport and dropped me off early in the morning. The house sit was fab and Sebastian and Ruby were so well behaved and great company. If you’re looking for a house sit, this is the family to do it for!
We enjoyed our assignment in Roanoke very much. Maddie is a very sweet, affectionate and talkative kitty and was very easy to care for, she knows her routine. The home is lovely, absolutely spotless, very comfortable and a great area. Unfortunately we did not get to meet our hosts, although we spoke on the phone and they are personable and thoughtful, we are thankful for this opportunity.
We had such a lovely time looking after Frankie. He has a very sweet nature and is very well behaved. He's great with other dogs, responds well to commands and is generally very compliant and affectionate. Steve and Jenny's house is beautiful and comfortable and they were very hospitable and talked us through everything we needed to know to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Iron Acton is a gorgeous village with lots of lovely green spaces and great walks nearby. We really recommend this house sit and would love to return in the future.
