Lori and Joe were excellent! After communicating to set up the sit, we felt very confident. They were responsive to our questions about our home while away, and several times initiated communication when things came up (e.g. important mail, dry grass, etc). They left a very happy pet, and clean space. The whole experience was free of stress and we would trust them again 100%.

Well, it was a different housesit from the one we expected - through nobody's fault!
Sharon and Paul welcomed us the night before they left and we were able to walk Pippin and Bede together in the water meadows behind the house.
Unfortunately, all went downhill the next day when we were on our own and Storm Eunice hit the house and knocked out the electricity. But - as Trusted Housesitters there was nothing we could do about it as we knew that Bede hated kennels, and in all honesty, every day we expected the power to be put back on. But it wasn't! Sharon was in touch with us and kindly arranged for Pippin and Bede to be picked up to stay with friends. We still feel guilty about leaving and not finishing the sit, especially since it was the first time Sharon and Paul had used Trusted Housesitters.
Our rating is based on what the experience should have been! The house is lovely and our room and bathroom very comfortable. Pippin and Bede quickly accepted us and were no problem.
We hope Sharon and Paul don't let this experience put them off using Trusted Housesitters in the future.

Although I was Caitlin & Travis first pet sitter, they were pet parent pros from the get-go.

We met prior to their trip and they clearly showed and explained all I needed to know for the sit. They were also super kind, warm, and welcoming. Caitlin picked me up from the Max station and Travis drove me back to Portland after my visit.

The house has a lovely, open, and spacious layout that gets a lot of light. The back yard and the upper porch are fabulous. Meena slept on a chair on the porch most of the time, while Buddy slept in his cat bed in the basement.
They house is close to a beautiful park on the River where you can walk Toby.

Toby is well behaved, sweet, very affectionate, and easy to take care of. He is also cuter than cute. I really connected with his personality. He does have diva moments when he refuses to walk. A treat easily fixes non-movement.

Meena and Buddy generally stayed outside at night and came in to sleep and eat during the day. Both of them liked lap time and being petted during the interim.

The poultry laid delicious eggs for collection. Understand that when they see you, they see food, so they will be right at the gate waiting. To crowd control the chickens in the morning take the food in first and then open the coop.

One of my favorite parts of my sit was seeing Caitlins garden thrive. I was able to eat kale, green beans, and strawberries straight from the tended garden. My green thumb got greener as the plants flourished with my secret sunshine and water method:)

It was a wonderful sit that I definitely recommend.

Gin is an absolute dream girl!
Total chiller, happy to snuggle and hang out on the couch at home and loves taking her time to take in all the smells along walks.
Gin's a very funny girl, good at finding food or appearing in the most clever, cutest spots when food is about but definitely gives you space to eat and a cute face to enjoy a meal with 💗

The marsh close to Lauren's home is such a cool walking spot!
Lauren's home is gorgeous, super comfortable and in a great location close to shops/ public transport etc.
Lauren was great to deal with and we'd definitely recommend housesitting for her.
Thanks again Lauren x

I loved every bit about looking after Battista, he was great company and a fabulously chilled out doggy. Roger was very hospitable and the flat is lovely! Would do it again in an instant :)

Alex and Tammy’s housesit was awesome! They have such a lovely house and an even more lovely dog. I will miss Bo so much because she was such a fun gal to be around. She showed me all around the local parks and always loved to walk under my legs haha. The area was super nice to wander around in and felt like home for a second. Alex & Tammy are super friendly and we kept in contact before and during their time away. I hope they had as great a holiday as we did with Bo!

Also I will miss the convenience of the hot water tap and 400 rabbits pizza!
