Cheval is the perfect host. She was clear on all of her instructions and expectations. She communicated regularly while away as we exchanged pics. This made it easy to care for Chutney. Chutney is an adorable, high-energy, playful pup. She loves attention and will play all day. She does know commands. She is great riding in the car and taking walks. My dog Riggs loved playing with her. They got along great. Cheval's home is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Her home is comfortable and comes with all that you need to work and relax. The massage chair I am going to miss. Thank you for the opportunity to sit for Chutney. We look forward to coming back in the spring.
What a dream home! We loved every second of our sit in LA with the boys, Jack & Leo! Hans & JP's home was the perfect relaxing retreat for us to end a long month of travel down the West Coast. The pups are affectionate and cuddly, and love to give you kisses and bring you their favourite toys. They're both good boys and a pleasure to take care of. I would say that experience with leash reactivity is necessary for this sit as they can both show these behaviours out on walks and are strong dogs. JP did make us aware of this before the sit, and Hans walked the dogs with us when we arrived to show us how they handle the dogs, so we felt prepared. JP and Hans were so kind and welcoming and made us feel at ease and relaxed, we would happily sit for them again if we find ourselves in LA! We can definitely recommend this sit to others :)
This is a dream housesit! This wonderful family lives in an absolutely stunning home surrounded by glorious mountain views. There is an extensive trail network that can be reached on foot as can the buzz of downtown Canmore with many delicious restaurants to eat in. A short drive away by car you can reach world famous Banff National Park and your biggest problem will be picking where to go and what to do because you will be so spoiled for choice. I met Cecilia through TrustedHousesitters last year and we quickly hit it off. Communication was always clear, responsive and very friendly. Her family is one of the most generous, kind and loving families I have ever met. They welcomed me into their home as well as their hearts and we have all become really good friends. Canmore is one of the nicest places I have ever been fortunate enough to live, it is an amazing community nestled in the mountains with incredible opportunities for natural adventures. Barkley is such a beautiful dog and gentle puppy that will steal your heart! He is still learning but I have no doubt will be a perfect companion for the trails in no time at all. I looked after Annie & Aura for a week. I took them for walks up on the Downs. They both looked very cute and warm in their made to measure pyjamas. They really like their breakfast.
Such a wonderful pet sitting experience with Ginny and Jake in Seattle! The house and location are wonderful and close to wherever you’d like to go without being in a busy downtown area. We would be lucky to have the opportunity to sit here again in the future!
We loved Hamilton. He’s very intelligent & sensitive & endearing. Paige warned us that he can & will jump anywhere including kitchen counters. We got used to it but when he walked across the stove -it was not hot -I told him No! & he immediately jumped down. Paige had written instructions for the house & how to care for Hamilton which were clear & thorough & she did everything to make us feel comfortable. She was quick to answer our questions while she was away too. Altogether it was a most enjoyable sit.
