Milly was a wonderful, cheerful and thorough carer for my two cats. I got home to a clean condo and happy cats and plants. Milly was very communicative during my long trip and flexible about my coming and going dates. She arrived a day early so I could show her around, and I ended up coming home the night before I planned, and that worked out fine, too. I would have her to host again!
This is one of the best sits I have completed so far. I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of this sit, to name but a few: The cat parent(s) Connie is extremely organized, caring, sweet, thoughtful, compassionate, accommodating, hospitable, humble, and open-minded. She demonstrated a high level of professionalism not only in pet sitting and house keeping but also in communication and hospitality. She did a perfect job in meeting and greeting me and introducing everything about her fur babies and home to me. She scheduled video meetings with me well ahead of the sit, during which she provided a well-organized, straightforward visual orientation for the sit. She also checked in with me a couple of times via text messages shortly before the sit and gave me a warm, detailed, well-designed in-person orientation on the morning of the first day of the sit, which was scheduled during the check-ins. Despite her busy schedule, she also devoted plenty of time in piecing together all the important things about this sit and printed out this well-thought, well-structured, well-written, informative guide before my arrival, which turned out to be very precise and extremely helpful. On top of all these inputs, she also showed abundance of good will (such as having prepared extra pillows and the workspace for me) and respect to diverse cultures (from wearing slippers to cooking). Though I did not encounter any cultural differences during this sit, I very much appreciate her thoughtfulness and her generosity to teach me. Last but not least, despite being detail-oriented, Connie is very open-minded and not demanding. She accepted my suggestion of labeling all the cabinets that I might need to use, which helped the sit run smoothly. Her expectations were clearly laid out, consistent, and reasonable. She did not demand more than what she listed. She sincerely appreciated my time and efforts and thanked me for taking good care of her fur babies and home. The kitties: Prince Theo and Princess Aria are a handful but distinct charming personalities. They are among the sweetest and cutest creatures I have taken care of. Princess Aria was a little shy and took time to warm up, while Prince Theo was more proactive and demanded more attention. That said, they got along with each other and never fought. When I was playing with one of them, the other never competed for my attention. Both of them are super intelligent, energetic, playful, adventurous, understanding, and communicative. They are both independent and emotionally attached to humans. (They followed me from the living room to the kitchen to the bedroom. Theo even spent some time studying the guide for taking care of him and Aria.) They understood my language and signals very well and reacted to my actions (feeding, patting, playing with them, etc.) immediately and positively. They did not even shy from my camera. Their eating habits were exactly like what Connie described to me. The home: Connie’s apartment is even better than in the pictures. It is extremely clean, tidy, comfy, and well-organized. The locations of both this apartment and this building are super convenient. The apartment building is even fancier than in the photos. I particularly like its big windows with a gorgeous view. I also especially enjoyed the library and the gym and hope I could get a chance to try the pool. Overall, this is such an exceptional, rewarding experience! I am already missing everybody in this home and hoping to return. Thank you, Connie, for everything!
