Truly is truly amazing! She has a lovely nature and is super easy on walks. I am going to miss her! Jonathan and Alison are lovely. Before they left, we did a run-through of the house and the animals, and if any questions arose, they were just a text away. Feeding the ponies and chickens was a breeze and added to the fun of this stay. The house and garden are beautiful! I feel very lucky to have done this stay.
Mary is a lovely host who made sure we felt at home before leaving. Smudge the cat is fab and loves cuddles at night, snuggling up to you in bed. The apartment is small but very comfortable. We enjoyed our short sit and would not hesitate to recommend Mary and Smudge to caring sitters.
This was the perfect sit for me, and I highly recommend it to others. Marjory and Neil are so kind and so fun to talk with. Truly welcoming people. Their welcome guide is extensive and includes all the information you might need, including recommendations on restaurants and attractions. They picked me up at the Lenzie train station and we enjoyed a meal together, before they left the next morning. Their house, deck and garden are absolutely beautiful and private. The neighbourhood is quiet. The kitchen is very modern and has everything you might need for your stay. Marjory and Neil kindly lent me a bike and I rode along the Forth and Clyde canal, visiting Roman ruins. Getting to central Glasgow was easy; 25 minute walk, then 9 minute train ride. The best part of all? The 3 beautiful cats! Finn, Freya and Fearn are so much fun and very loving. Fearn is a bit shy, except when she was on my bed. Then she was asking for belly rubs. Freya is lovely and calm. Finn is a real character. Very vocal about food, going to the catio, coming in from the catio, etc. Loves his belly rubs too! Marjory was very good about answering any of my questions during the sit, which I appreciated. Marjory and Neil - thank you so much for trusting me with your darling cats and beautiful house. It was a pleasure to meet you and to stay in your house. I miss Finn. Freya and Fearn already.
We were so lucky to take care of Walter, a beautiful yellow lab who embodied everything perfect and wonderful you might expect in a Labrador retriever! Walter is well behaved, with an endearing personality that makes you wish you could just take him home with you! Walter lives in a beautiful, modern home, which is wonderfully situated in a gorgeous area, close to restaurants, shops, hikes, and paths. Walter walked us each day toward the iconic Arizona Biltmore hotel, along the canal and through amazing neighborhoods near his home. If you are lucky enough to sit for Walter you will be happy with your opportunity. We miss him already and if we could give Walter and his family more than five stars we would!
What a fantastic experience! We knew right from the moment we met Linda and John that they were going to be great hosts. We received a very detailed Welcome Guide to review beforehand, and they invited us to arrive the day before so they could take us through all of the routines. We had everything we needed to be set up for success, and if we had any questions during the sit, Linda was quick to respond. The house and neighborhood are incredible. The home is in a gated community, which is very safe and quiet. The guest room where we slept was spacious and comfortable, and we also had an equally spacious guest bathroom. We were there for a longer sit, so we really got to enjoy the amazing kitchen which is well equipped and stocked. There are 2 indoor seating areas with great TVs (with both streaming and cable). And since we both work remotely, we especially appreciated the space in the dining room and in the office to set up our working stations, as well as strong wifi. The house is located along the Bay, and there are 2 beautiful Bay-facing patios where you can relax. When not at the house, we spent most of our time exploring all of surrounding nature, most in walking distance. Being in such a beautiful, remote area does mean you will need a car to get to town for things grocery shopping and restaurants, but it's super easy (about 15 mins away). Now for the cats... We loooooved our time with these sweeties! They are all mellow, older cats who spend most of their day lounging around the house. Tiger is the only one who explores a bit further afield, but he's really good about coming back inside when you call him. Buster and Blackie need daily medication, and they both take it really well (it took us no more than a couple minutes in the morning and evening to give them their meds). Keeping the litter boxes and house clean was easy. And though they are easy cats to care for, they are social and really do love getting attention. They are all very sweet and we enjoyed every moment we had with them! We are very thankful for this experience and would highly recommend this to other sitters. If you're lucky to be offered the opportunity, take it. It's a dream sit!

I haven't used Sunshine Pet Services... yet... I had planned to and will but wanted to give Erin 5 stars so far because of her impeccable customer service so far: my x-mas plans fell through so I decided- why not? let's head to Vegas! Completely last minute but had to make sure my guys were all set so contacted Erin to see if she was available to come over and feed them while I was away. Unfortunately I've had a medical issue that I was ignoring prove to not want to be ignored and I need to stay close to home but she was Very responsive and understood that my plans were coming together fast with planning a last minute trip and did everything she could to accommodate me. We didn't actually meet but that she responded to Every email immediately as I was trying to set things up was very helpful and that is really a good sign for me that she is the one that When I do get to go on vacation, she will be the one I will trust to take care of my dear ones. Also- I don't know who designed her website but it is fabulous! Very clear- very comprehensive. Thanks Erin!

This is my dog after a day at Zoomie World. He has literally tried pushing me out of the way to get out of the car when we pull up to daycare. He loves it here. The staff is super friendly and I’ve enjoyed checking on him with the webcams every now and then to confirm what I already know: all the dogs here are having a great time!

Great daycare for doggos. Has both an indoor and outdoor area for the dogs that is well kept and clean. Well trained and friendly staff so you know that your dog is in good hands. My dog loves going there and has lots of new friends. Highly recommend!
The whole staff was ABOVE AND BEYOND!! The most caring, attentive daycare our pups have been too. I was so comfortable with our fur babies in their care and would recommend them 10/10 times; we were blessed to find this team!
Genuinely terrible experience. My mother went in with our dog (husky) on Saturday and had a great experience. He went through his boarding like a breeze and it took only 15 min for them to tell her yes! Looked like a great experience and she loved the place. Sounded like reservations were made and everything. Fast forward to today, I am the son and I was not there for the boarding. This blonde lady at the counter started asking me questions like as if we are going through another boarding. I did not know the answers because I wasn't the dogs primary care taker. She said there was no reservation, he has no records that he had been there and asked me if I knew if I was at the right place. She said "I don't feel comfortable taking him not knowing this information". All it took was a call to my mom... I felt completely judged based off of the experience and she asked me if I had anywhere else to take him... And no I did not. I have a cruise that I've spent thousands of dollars on and this is what's going to hold me up from going! Additionally, don't require someone to make your dog take a shot when you don't already have a booking available. We've spent too much money just for him to get boarded here with unnecessary shots that nobody else needed. Don't ever treat a customer like this again!
I left my dog for four days at the dog bark. I was very nervous about leaving her, not knowing how she would do. But with the cameras, I was able to check on her several times a day and saw she was doing fine. The staff are great with all the interaction and care they give to the dogs, they do an amazing job. I will definitely be using them again. Now I think my dog will be bored after seeing all they do lol. I will definitely take her once in a while for the interaction and socialization. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby.

Last month we needed to visit our family in the Midwest for a couple of weeks. We chose The Dog Bark for our older dog Dulci to stay at because we wanted him to enjoy playing with other dogs so he didn’t worry about us not being around as much and so he had a good experience while we were away. Our dog has a lot of anxiety, and while he’s great with other dogs he can be moody with people. The staff at The Dog Bark did an amazing job working with him, accepting him and providing him with a great experience! I loved the doggy cams; when we were waiting for our flights we would log into what we called “Dulci TV”and it was great to be able to see our dog and see he was having a great time! I loved the friendliness of the staff and that they allowed me to bring him specialized meals and supplements. I was very happy when they emailed me when we were gone to let me know Dulci was doing well. The staff also worked hard to try to find a kennel for Dulci to stay in every night as I was worried about him not doing well in a crate as he is not crate trained. Overall, I highly recommend The Dog Bark to anyone, especially if your dog has anxiety, your dog will be in great hands!!
The Dog Bark was recommended to us by our local dog park community. We left our 8 month old husky girl for 8 days while we attended a wedding in O’ahu. This was the first time we have ever used a dog boarding service and the first time I have left my dog. I am a stay at home mom so I am with her 24/7. I loved that I could watch her from the cameras, I even called in to check up on her and the staff was very kind and let me know how she was doing. We go on several out of state trips and will be coming back to The Dog Bark. The only cons were that we missed out fur baby. ☺️
This facility is clean and has enthusiastic and helpful employees. You need to book far enough ahead of time to get a dog evaluation and a short daycare stay too see if your dogs are friendly.
My pup LOVES it here and so do we. We were having issues at home because we can't entertain our hyper girl 24 hours a day and she has so much energy that needs to get out. So Dog Bark is the perfect solution with very reasonable prices. Our girl gets so much play time with her friends she is exhausted and happy when she gets home. She is much more behaved even on days she doesn't go. I also love their cameras. We can check in on her and see her at anytime. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Edit: We have been part of the Dog Bark family for over a year now. Shannon and her team and just simply amazing. My girl is well taken care of and there is NEVER a worry in my mind when she is there.
I started bringing my dog here around may of ‘23. I really wanted to like this place as I need someone I can trust to take my pet. I brought my pet there many times but would look at the camera and there would be SO many dogs that they could hardly move around. My first thought was “oh those poor workers” and my 2nd was “what if a dog fight broke out”. This place doesn’t seem to cap the number of dogs they accept. My dog came home stressed and vocalizing when I saw her. Each time we went back she cried. We stopped going about a year ago and have found a daycare that has smaller sizes and more interactive play. They also don’t “punish” my dog with water if she jumps. There are many other places in Salem.
It has been a year now since my dogs have come here. Owner and staffs have provided fantastic care for my dogs whether it’s for daycare or boarding. We even boarded our dogs for 2 weeks straight once with no worries and came home to tired but satisfyingly happy dogs. Everytime I drop my husky off for daycare in the mornings he cannot wait to get inside and play. Everyone here is easy to work with, customer and dog friendly. I would recommend this facility for anyone who loves their pets and need someone to care for them when they are at work or away.
Love to take my dogs here. Staff is so nice and knows them as soon as we walk in. My pup with separation anxiety makes a big fuss whenever I drop him off but when I watch the stream I can see he's having fun. Much better than leaving him alone at home wondering if he's okay
I have mixed feelings about this place. When booking the boarding I was under the impression the dogs would have some opportunity to play with other dogs, and interact, this was not the case. This was simple dog boarding with bathroom walks. This was NOT what I wanted, but really had no choice as we were there, and had a commitment to be at. Also, my dogs were there 4 nights, and I packed treats, bully sticks, and more treats to help them with boredom, most of that stuff came back unused. All the dogs there appear to be left in kennel cages unless there go out for a bathroom break. Several of the dogs there barked the whole time we were dropping off and picking up, a noisy intimidating place for some dogs to deal with. If you are looking for simple dog boarding this place is for you, if you are looking for anything else, this may not be the place. I personally will not be back.
Great family owned operation. And with every dollar. We have a Chiweenie who enjoys her people time more so than her big dog time and this place hits the mark! They take their dogs on 4 walks a day and they get their own warm space inside with their own bed or blanket if you choose. And they send you an occasional pic or video, love love! She came home after 4 days and was in a great mood, much better than our last experience with a dog boarding kennel. Highly recommend!

Joe and Angela at Divine Dog Boarding were highly recommended by one of my friends at work, she boards her dog at Divine Dog Boarding everytime she goes on vacation. We've never Boarded our Pitbull before and wanted to check out anyone that I'd leave my dog with. I contacted Angela and setup a time for her to meet Buddy and get to know him, she requires a 4 hour free play date prior to boarding the first time. That went great, I got to know her and her husband Joe and they LOVED BUDDY. My husband and I went on vacation for ten days, Angela texted us pictures and updated us on how Buddy was adjusting to his new surroundings several times. Angela and Joe love what they do and it shows. My Buddy loved it there!!!! I highly recommend Joe and Angela they were so attentive to Buddy's needs. Their rates are reasonable which makes it all the better. Joe and Angela are good people and worthy of your trust.
We boarded our two big boys with divine dog boarding while on a 2 week family vacation. We were very nervous since we have never been away from our dogs in the past. The team did a wonderful job caring for them while we were away. Angela updated me any time there were questions or changes. One of our boys got a little home sick, but they went above and beyond to make him comfortable. They were happy and healthy upon our return! We will definitely use their services again for future trips.
The staff was amazingly receptive of all 3 of my dogs and seemed to instantly bond with each of them. Very caring individuals. And the facility was clean and warm inside on a cold fall morning when I arrived to pick up me dogs a week after returning from a business trip. A-1 care and treatment of all three dogs, they didn't even seem to want to leave.

Donna runs an excellent Doggie Hotel :) She and her staff have watched my dog(s) for many years now. My beloved Pinot passed away about 3 years ago and now she gets "Buddy" my little fat chihuahau/dachshund mix. Whenever I say, "wanna go see the doggies?" he gets so excited! I truly trust this place and all the workers. From my experience, you will not be disappointed, nor your best friend(s).
My dog had an appointment in the afternoon. Was told to drop off in the morning. My dog was there all day. Came home with fleas and her haircut could be compared to a home groom. Dogs were everywhere when I dropped off and it seems like the boarding clients and the grooming clients were intermingled. Will not go back. The price is enticing, but at what cost?
Shelly and her team are fabulous. They are kind and take excellent care of my dog. They go above and beyond (like when my dog Houdini’d her way out of my yard and they let me know)! - I am happy to have them in our community!

I moved here from out of state so my normal boarding places for my dogs weren’t an option when we needed to board our two dogs for 2 weeks. The reviews were great here and the people seemed nice enough. I got my dogs back after the 2 weeks and one of them had a raging UTI which I found out after she had accidents in the house, and the other is now afraid of her crate (she used to love her crate and went in it on her own frequently) and refuses to go into it now. I have no idea what happened at this facility or how on earth this could have even happened, but I’ve never gotten my dogs back from boarding with issues like this before. I even paid extra for them to have more outside time. 2 stars because they kept my dogs alive and mostly healthy, so I’m thankful for that at least.

Took my dog there for a nail trimming and they weren't sure if she needed a muzzle or not so I went in with her. Everything was great. The people who worked there were really nice. Good experience
Took my dog to 2 other people to get his nails trimmed and they couldn't do it due to him not allowing it. Was recommended to go here and they were able to get it done. Took him straight in, clipped them, and we were on our way. Will definitely be coming back to them for all his and my other dogs nails!
Our dog Tuck loves to go there for daycare. Shelly the owner is so sweet and so is everyone else there. They’ve bent over backwards to accommodate us and even raised their fence for my escape artist. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. We love you all at the shaggy dog ❤️ Tuck especially loves Michael.

I am super happy with the care my dogs received while at the purple pet lady! My corgi Tubby is my service dog and gets very bad anxiety when he’s away from my side! She was so caring and understanding with him, she even sent me pictures of him and updates on how he was doing! I definitely recommend this facility! If I’m ever in Silverton again I know where I’ll be leaving my fur children 🖤🖤 and the cost was extremely reasonable!!

Very nice pet sitter who is extremely reasonable. She seems to care for the dogs and has a few of her own. We have seen your dogs and she met their special needs. Often has quite a few dogs so make sure that your dogs are social. No frills but does the job.
She and her partner were super nice people who are great with animals. I had them watch my dogs while I went to a wedding and they were very accommodating with timing and my dogs' needs. I'd highly recommend this business.

We are very happy with Salem Bed and Biscuit. We brought our 16 year old yorkie there for the day. When we picked our dog up we knew that he had been well cared for and that he enjoyed his stay. While there he was able to play with several other small dogs. When we got home he was happy and playful! We will definitely use Salem Bed and Biscuit again! Thank you.
We recently had unexpected news about our dogs health. We were referred to Terri and she immediately jumped in w a plan of action for a new diet to help us provide our dog the nutrients needed to help fight his cancer. She is knowledgeable and informative but most of all, you can see her heart and love for what she does. Terri continues to help us and provide guidance along our journey. I highly recommend Terri for nutrition advice for your pet. Need I say, we are in Hawaii and she is just a phone call or text away !!

We love Tawnia & family! Our pup goes to doggy daycare at least 2 days a week and is always SO excited to be there in the morning! She gets to socialize and run and play to her heart's content and we love that she's not as wound up in the evenings!
Kinley has been boarding/daycare with Tawnia at Happy Hound Hotel for a few yrs and it is definitely dog approved/owner approved. Kinley is always excited to spend time at Happy Hound Hotel, especially when water is involved 😉. Tawnia is so attentive to each individual dog and their needs. They each have their own kennel to stay in but a HUGE FENCED yard they can run around in but only when being supervised. They aren't left in the yard alone. She is very careful when accepting dogs to make sure there are no aggressive dogs. SO happy Tawnia opened Happy Hound Hotel because it is such a great fit for Kinley. The best part is she is a small business. Thank-you Tawnia for everything you do and for taking such great care of our Kinley! See you in June! 💚
We have been taking our senior dog to Happy Hound for over a year now. I’m so grateful to have found a kennel that my dog enjoys. They let her socialize with similarly mannered dogs so she gets exercise and stimulation but doesn’t over exert herself as a 14 yr old pup. This last time she got a nail trim and bath so when I picked her up she looked and smelled great. I also love that this is a family owned and operated business. I know I can trust them.

Tawnia is great with my fur child Chase. He loves going here and socializing. safe with lotsa exercise and reasonable cost. Tawnia sends me texts with photos of Chase playing while im gone. It’s very reassuring.
Tawnia is amazing and I highly recommend her! Della gets so excited when we pull up for drop offs. I know Della is safe and happy while in Tawnia's care. I also appreciate how accommodating she is with our last minute planning and crazy schedules.
I am so happy to have found Happy Hound Hotel. I don't worry a bit about leaving my dog with Tawnia, she communicates very well with me and even sends pictures of the dogs playing together.
Ginger is so excited when she goes to the happy hound, she loves all the staff and being able to play all day. They are so wonderful to her and it’s nice to know they treat her like family
We absolutely adore the Happy Hound Hotel! Tawnia went above and beyond to make sure my pup was comfortable for his stay and sent us messages to let us know how he was doing. She even made a huge effort to deep clean and brush him out (which is a feat for a giant breed dog!) which I was very thankful for. Moose can’t wait to return for another great stay at the Happy Hound Hotel!
Tawnia is amazing! Both my Dogs run to her as soon as they are out of my car and completely ignore me. I've been with her for a few years and don't trust anyone else with my dogs. She is awesome and very caring to my furbabies. 100000% recommend Tawnia to anyone who is looking for a daycare or boarding for a few days.
The team at Safe and Hound are absolutely amazing! They took the greatest care and shared so much love with our pup while we were here for a medical procedure. They sent me updates and pics every day and made our Cooper feel safe and loved! Words can't express how grateful we are to the S&H team for giving us the time to attend to our health care while they cared for our beloved boy! My boy LOVES Safe & Hound. And they love him in return. Some days he whines when he must come home as he would rather stay and play with his friends. They are so very caring, communicative, and honest. Any one of the caregivers I will give an A+++ to. I use S&H for overnight boarding occasionally. I usually get a photo or two and an update on how it's going. They are like family. My highest rating for Safe & Hound.
Harper and Hank have been going to Safe and Hound since they were babies. They go three days a week and also do overnight boarding with the Hound. Not only do they LOVE going to “school” each day... they learn while they are there and come home exhausted and ready to relax. Vizsla’s have so much energy and our dogs really thrive with their friends everyday at daycare. The facilities are clean and safe, everyone on staff is friendly and wonderful and you can tell how much everyone loves our dogs! They give baths, trim nails and play with our puppies daily. It really is a special place and I’m so grateful for the whole team at Safe and Hound! Thank you guys for being the very best...highly recommend!! 💜
We love Safe and hound. The staff know and love on or pup Stormy like their own. They make sure that dogs are healthy and interacting appropriately with one another. Our dog is always excited to get there in the morning and wears herself out playing with other pups. The online reservation system is easy to use and helps to coordinate dates you need care. We have boarded our dog with them as well on trips and she came home healthy and happy. I can’t recommend them highly enough!!
My sweet baby loves going to daycare here. He is practically jumping out the window when I pull in to the parking lot. The team that works there loves dogs and it shows. Stewie will be a lifer there.
I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is! The girls who work here are so sweet. Spinelli always gets so excited when she figures out she's going to daycare, and when we arrive I am instantly chopped liver as she is so happy to see her human and doggy friends. She comes home tired and happy every time. When we board her, the girls even send us photos and little update messages on Spinelli while we are away (my faves included below). We are so thankful we live so close to a great daycare and boarding place!
I could not be happier with Safe And Hound . Not only are the staff attentive and kind but they absolutely love my little girl and she loves going to school. If you are looking for a great doggy daycare, this is the spot!!! The excitement she gets when we turn, the corner, tells me everything I need to know.
My dog, Zarafina, has been attending Safe & Hound for 15 months. She loves it there and is always super tired when she comes home. That tells me she plays hard! And since she is a husky, that is the most important component. After all, a tired husky is a good husky! The staff is phenomenal, the hours are good, the space is clean, and I have never had any issue here. I cannot say the same for 3 other local doggy daycare facilities I have tried. So to me, this place is the best you will find anywhere in the Portland area. The price is a little high, but within industry standard. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and I will gladly pay the price to keep my girl safe and happy.
Love this place! Shilo goes to her "doggy daycare" 2 x week. She gets excited when we tell her where she is going and she is exhausted when we pick her up! She is a Pomsky with a lot of Husky traits in her so she needs the exercise. Safe and Hound literally saved us when she was pup...didn't know what to do with her and her craziness. Everyone who works here is amazing and you can tell that they really love all of the dogs! Highly recommend.
Safe & Hound Doggy Daycare is a great place. I really like their set up. “So does my dog :-)”. The staff here is very personable and friendly. Crystal, the owner did a great with this place. It’s a newer location and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I know my dog is in excellent hands while I am gone at work. Penelope Pawprints was a wonderful vacation home for our Cat! My girlfriend and I left out Cat for about 2 weeks with Penny and our Cat had a wonderful time being social and enjoying the out door time. Pick up and drop off were made very simple by Penny and she is wonderful with communication willing to answer any questions you may have. We will definitly be coming back to Penelope Pawprints in the future!
Have used Penny's services for year's. She loves animals and has devoted herself to their care and well being. Ues her multiple times per year and would highly recommend her to everyone. We have 5 cats and they all love her.
Penny has come to my home and watched my two senior kitties with great care! It is such a relief to be able to leave them in their own home and know all their needs including special feeding and medications are being handled. On our return from trips, they didn’t even act like we had been gone! If you have cats you want to leave in their own home, call Penny!
I trust Penny 100% with my cats Beau and Lily. She has taken care of them more than once in my home, sometimes for 2-3 weeks. When I return from travels, my cats are relaxed and happy and I know she has taken excellent care of them She is loving, responsible, honest and is a lifetime animal lover. She's the best.
We had a great experience at Pennys! She was very caring toward our cat and has a nice facility. She is professional, communicates well and was flexible with scheduling. We will definitely use her services again!
Penny has taken care of my animals, large and small, on numerous occasions for many years. She is conscientious, punctual, and cares deeply about each and every creature. She alerts me if even the smallest detail seems not right. I trust her implicitly. I am so lucky to have her as my animal sitter, and don’t know what I would do without her!
Penny is absolutely more than amazing. The care she gives each and every animal, the obvious love she shares with all of them. I will always trust her with any of my animals. Our community is blessed to have her.
We took our two lil buddies to Penny’s and they had the time of their life! When ever we bring out our cats’ pet carriers they don’t freak out because they know they are going to paradise :) they always return perfectly brushed, exercised, and loved. If your looking for a place for your cats to stay this is the one for you! This isn’t the first time our cats have visited the cat cottage and it won’t be the last!
We are so fortunate to have Penny to care for our cats. We have a diabetic cat that is semi-feral and she is the only person that is able to care for her and give her the shots she needs. Without Penny's skilled handling of our cats we would not be able to vacation
This was by far the absolute best experience I have ever had boarding my cat while I was away for vacation. my sweet Cotton was taken care of, I even got pictures text to me of my baby while I was away! Penny is such a sweet lady, you will absolutely have peace of mind boarding your animals here!
I had to leave my 17 1/2 year old dog with Canine Cognitive Disorder (Doggie Alzheimer's) and difficulty walking due to loss of muscle tone along with some other issues for 5 days. After the 1st day, they told me they moved her closer to where she could see them and away from the noise at the groomers. They sent me pictures and were receptive to my phone calls or texting. Zoe was greatly taken care of that I am not sure she wanted to leave. We are going back for a grooming appointment even though I live out in Salem. My Chiropractor recommended them to me and I am so glad he did.
Great Staff and Kennel service. I’m so grateful to have found them online. Our family has been struggling and their staff have been incredibly kind and understanding of our situation. They have made an uncomfortable process so easy. I’m over protective of my fur baby and they have really put my mind at ease. I have been trusting my fur babies with Courtney at Oak Grove for over a decade. They are the best when it comes to rescues and understand animals with different issues. We never had a problem and they communicate brilliantly!
Great kennel, very nice and understanding staff. My goto kennel for my boys. Be sure to check your inventory on pickup. I always seem to forget something.
We have tried 3-4 different grooming locations and no one connected with my pup like Courtney. I highly recommend Oak Grove Kennel in Monmouth. Courtney is very knowledgeable about how to handle anxious pups. I certainly will be going back.
Great place to take your fur babies!! Lox got a bath/blow out, nails cut, paws trimmed, and his coat feels soft. He is still a hyper puppy and they were so patient with him. Would recommend. We will be back!
So brought in my reactive very anxious older puppy in for a nail trimming. I had tried taking him to a different local groomer in the past and it was nothing like we experienced here. He’s a difficult trim for sure and we’ve had a bad experience at the other groomers. But the two people we saw at this place were really amazing. The guy who worked there took the time to try and let my dog warm up to him and feel more secure. The women in the back who trimmed his nails was so patient with him and when he was struggling they let me come back with them to comfort him through the process. He straight up had bitten them both but they didn’t bat an eye and were incredibly kind and understanding. He got his nails done and didn’t seem totally traumatized by it like he did with the other place. I’d recommend them to anyone with a dog who struggles with grooming and needs a kind and understanding environment. They definitely got a long term customer with us. They’re also very reasonably priced. My poor anxious boy got better care here for a $15 nail trim then we revived paying $55 elsewhere for just his nails.
My dog loves it here. When I pull into the driveway she can't wait to get out of the car. I know that she will be well taken care of and all of my requests honored.
We were nervous leaving our boys for a 9 day trip. They called us to let us know how they were doing! Can not wait to pick the boys up...hope they enjoy their vacation as much as we will! Update: Just wanted to drop back in and say that our boys are just as happy coming here for "dog-cations" as they were two years ago. The attentive staff always have observations to share with us when we pick up and even my nervous boy happily walks in each time.
Oak Grove Kennel has been so wonderful to our three dogs! We had to take an unexpected 3 week trip and they treated our dogs like family. They made sure they had extra attention and love. We have used them many times and will continue doing so for both grooming and boarding!
