I had a great time petsitting for Heimata and Pascal! Jazz, Tchoupie and Noisette were such a pleasure to take care of, we enjoyed our walks through the woods and the fields around the town, and enjoyed lots of cuddles every evening 😊 The chickens were a pleasure to see everyday, they provided me with all the eggs I could possibly want and consistently ran up to greet me everytime I came to see them. Heimata and Pascal were extremely welcoming, they made sure I had everything I needed, picked me up from the train when I arrived and made sure I was safely on the train when I left. Communication was super easy and the house was very welcoming, warm and comfortable! I had such a great time here and would happily return!
We had such a wonderful time housesitting for Lindsey, Sam, and their family! From the moment we met them, they were such gracious and kind hosts, welcoming us warmly into their home and making sure we had everything we needed. We felt like we had made new friends right away! Molly and Cooper were a dream and we loved spending time with them. Molly loves to cuddle, be near you, and is just an all around sweet dog. Likewise, Cooper is probably one of the friendliest cat's we've ever met. He loves to talk (meow) with you, explore the neighborhood, and play with toys. We loved our time in their gorgeous home with beautiful deck, yard, and vegetable garden! The Cape Elizabeth area is a treat, with lots of great walks to the water and cute places to eat/shop. We absolutely recommend housesitting for Lindsey, Sam, and family if you get the opportunity!
Debbie & Michael are kind, communicative and welcoming people who made sure I had everything I needed for a successful sit. Sheriff is a sweet and adorable fluffball, though he has occasionally has some “cattitude.” He took a day or two to warm up to me, but after he got over his shyness, he became quite cuddly and affectionate. I was a little worried about giving him his insulin shots twice daily, but they were easy to administer while he was distracted with his food. Debbie’s & Michael’s home is comfortable, with a lovely lanai to hang out and relax on. I also enjoyed the neighborhood pools and the overall vibe of the gated community, which is set on a golf course. By the time our two weeks together were up, Sheriff and I had become good buddies. He liked to sit in my lap and “make biscuits.” I had a positive experience and would recommend this sit to others.
We really enjoyed sitting for Jennifer’s lovely cats, both very different in their ways, but good fun. Jennifer herself was very organised and kept us well informed before our arrival. The instructions were excellent and everything provided for us. The house was very comfortable and clean. An enjoyable stay.
It was a great pleasure to look after Shadow in Fiona and Tim's beautiful house. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed a meal together on the day we arrived. Shadow is the most loving old boy and despite a couple of health problems he is very happy and enjoys his regular walks in the fabulous surrounding countryside. He takes his tablets without fuss and even tells you when he should have them, although that may have something to do with the treat that follows. He adores a swim, and playing football in his garden. We are really delighted to be going back shortly for a second stay, and are looking forward to our cuddles with Shadow.
