Keri was such a kind easy going person from our first chat. Unfortunately, COVID through a wrench in our house sit plans. However, throughout Keri kept good communication and was honest about everything. We really appreciate that. We hope we get a chance to work with Keri in the future.
Taking care of Tinkerbell and Pippin was lovely! Our greatest joy was being with them, they are fun, affectionate, and wherever you go, they will be around! They love company and are true cute company! Tinkerbell is more shy, but you quickly gain her trust and she loves to play and cuddle! Pippin loves cuddles, play, he loves to eat, always active and we desired to hug him all the time!! The house is super comfortable, organised, close to the train station, groceries market, shopping mall. It was a quick stay, but very memorable! Briony and her husband were very kind and considerate with us! We have many pictures with them that we will keep forever in our memory and heart!
This was a fabulous house sit! Douglas was, of course, the star of the show. He is such a gorgeous boy, a real little character, who is very well behaved, keeps himself entertained at home, and full of Cockerpoo bounce and energy on walks. His ‘joie de vivre’ is infectious and every morning walk made me smile as he bounced over the fields. He is also the perfect cafe companion too, he is just happy to be with you… I absolutely fell in love with him. Karen and John live in a stunning Cotswold cottage with a beautiful garden. It’s immaculately clean and tidy, equipped with all that one needs, and a very comfy bed! The kitchen diner, over looking the garden is a wonderful space, a bright room full of light and we spent most of our time indoors there. There are lots of lovely walks from the house, to a pub and a couple of nice cafes, and there are pretty villages like Castle Combe and Badminton a few miles away, as well as Tetbury, Malmesbury and Bath short drives away. Karen and John were such welcoming, hospitable hosts. They kindly invited us to join them the day before and cooked a lovely meal for us. The next day they showed us Douglas’s morning walk and then took us on his favourite walk, so by the time they left we had had a thorough handover. Communication was great before and throughout the sit. This was the perfect sit and we would love to look after Douglas again. We really are missing him… Thank you Karen and John for being such amazing hosts and trusting us with Douglas and your beautiful home.
I had a lovely stay at Sara and John’s house on the edge of golden hills with nice hiking trails. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, peaceful outdoor space. All the creature comforts. Heidi, their rescue kitty is very shy and timid. I feel personally rewarded that she finally let me touch her after 5 days. It was hard to see her so lonely with my eager hands there. I was had to see her happy once mom came home. Sara and John, you were terrific. Thanks for helping me to feel so welcome. I enjoyed getting to know you both.
We had a really lovely weekend break at Kate and Jamie’s house and sunny garden. They provided us with very useful detailed information on the cats, the house and the local area. Communication was great throughout our stay. Their two sweet cats Finn and Vlossy, are very friendly and playful. They love company and soon got used to us. They liked to sleep on our bed or curl up on the sofa with us. The location of the house was perfect, with walking distance to station, shopping centre, beach and harbour. There is even a co-op and fish and chip shop at the end of the road. Thank you Kate and Jamie for our lovely stay. x
