Wendy
Wendy and Peter's flat in Berlin is amazing. So comfortable, spacious and full of character. It is in a quiet street but only 5 minutes walk from the Ku'damm and public transport plus there are numerous shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The 4 cats are extremely friendly and each have quite distinct personalities. They are no trouble to look after and great company. This house sit is perfect for exploring the whole of Berlin and the outlying areas such as Potsdam, the Wannsee and so on. You can get to Tegel airport in 20 minutes by bus or to Schoenefeld in about 50 minutes. Wendy left comprehensive information about the house and the cats and was in regular contact during the sit. We absolutely loved the opportunity to sit for them and would come back in a flash!

Korra and I had such a wonderful time taking care of Josie and Cosmo! Josie is the absolute sweetest and loves relaxing next to you. Cosmo is one of the friendliest cats I've met and you can tell he was raised by a dog because he runs to greet you every time!

The location is perfect with a supermarket, café, arcade, and more all within walking distance! Their home is lovely and relaxing and Hanna was so sweet leaving us a gift basket! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Sanaz
Sanaz made us feel right at home and welcomed into her home. Not only did she leave us great instructions in the Welcome Guide, she also left notes in the kitchen on where to find things.

It was such a lovely and warm home. It was situated in a very nice neighborhood with close distance to restaurants, shopping and Minnehaha Falls.

Merlin is such a sweet cat and warmed up to us after about two days and was pretty chatty when he wanted something. He spent a lot of time with us, while we all relaxed in the beautiful and quiet porch. Merlin was a great ambassador and very easy to take care of.

We would welcome the opportunity to sit for Merlin again. However, I warned Sanaz that next time we may not leave. We loved this sit!

Anne
We just had a wonderful week with Mazie and Jackie. They are beautiful, cuddly, entertaining and almost twins. Mazie instantly warmed up to us, from the start she would shadow us around the house purring. Very soon after we arrived Jackie decided that she deserved more lap time than Mazie and could purr just as well, but not quite as loud. We have always enjoyed having cats spend the night with us and these two took turns. We were told to expect the girls to wake us quite a bit before their 6am feeding (trying to convince us that we had the time wrong) but they kept “mostly” calm until just before 06:00. They are both truly “lap cats” and will take advantage most opportunities to hop onto an available lap - and are more than happy to get a good brushing while there.

We did not have the opportunity to personally meet Anne or her family (other than our video meeting), as they had friends that were starting a long distance move stay in the house the week before us, but Ann provided a well thought out welcome guide that covered everything we needed for our stay including local area interests and caring for the home as well as the girls. The two children of the family that were staying here also gave us a personal (complete and entertaining) briefing on the feeding, care and how to determine whether you had Mazie or Jackie on your lap. Communication with Anne was comfortable and easy and she assured us that if we have any questions or a need to contact her she was a WhatsApp text away.

This very comfortable home is in a quiet residential area with the J.F. Kennedy Platz bus stop 900m (.52 Miles / 10 minutes pulling a suitcase) away. There is a small “EDEKA Klink” grocery store and a bakery at JFK Platz bus stop as well as several larger markets with in a 30 minute walk (or easy bus ride).

Thank you for letting us care for your home and wonderful cats! We both loved our time here and hope we will have the chance to stay with Mazie and Jackie again.

Rachel
Rachel and Brian were so welcoming and had thought of everything. I appreciated the notes about the neighborhood, restaurants, and places to walk Rosie! (I did enjoy the local dumplings, and Rosie's favorite walking paths - especially the gorgeous spot at the beach!). Rosie is perhaps the sweetest and most POLITE dog ever! I enjoyed her routine of cuddles, food, walks, and more cuddles... all in a charming and comfortable home with a peaceful backyard. A great sit in a great city.
