This was a fantastic pet sitting experience. Heidi, her home, and her pets are wonderful. She is very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She had made a great binder with all the information we needed and past sitters left pamphlets for ideas of things to do in the area. Slater is such a fun cat! We loved getting to hang out with him and learn more of his personality. Both Poppy and Slater were super easy to take care of. Heidi has a tidy but homey space and we were very comfortable during the sit. Marietta has so many fun things to do, but Atlanta was only a 30 minute drive away as well! We would definitely come sit for Heidi again if given the chance. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Jay was very responsive and relaxed throughout the process. Beau and Minou are cozy critters with interesting histories. Minou knows what she wants and appreciates her outdoor time (when it’s not -31 wind chill). Beau and I got some good walks in around the neighborhood once the weather warmed up, and they both were pretty content to relax on their beds in front of the fireplace(s). Beau adores attention. The family’s home is positively gorgeous and relaxing. We’d happily sit again!
I want to tell everyone this was a terrible sit so that I get to come and do all the future sits. I loved, loved, loved this sit. The Jack Russells are well-trained rascals. Totally adorable, all different characters, full of love and high energy. The Great Dane, Della was delightful. She was gentle and sweet, very obedient and loved being fussed. It was great to see her get excited on walks and play with the Jack Russells. All of the Jacks loved to give Della kisses, very sweet. . Kassie and Adrian are really easy going and lovely owners who clearly know how to train their dogs. Kassie made communication simple via WhatsApp and also had key information in the welcome guide. The location is stunning. Steeped in ancient history. It's quiet, peaceful and magical especially when the mist rolls in. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat with plenty of walking then this is the sit for you.
Our three weeks of cat and house sitting at Ylva and Burt's place have been truly wonderful. Ylva and Burt gave us a thorough orientation of the house and of the cats, and even treated us to a guided tour pointing out the sites, stores and restaurants in and around Oxelösund. They were extremely generous and helpful, both before and during our sit. In their new, bright, and tastefully decorated house, you can't help but feel at home. Everything was very clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything we needed. Since it was summer, we spent much of our time outdoors, enjoying the many delightful seating areas all around the house. The view of the sea is fantastic! The house is situated by a nature preserve with plenty of walking trails in the woods and along the sea. Being surrounded by beautiful nature, it's still only a 15-minute walk to the bus and a 25-minute walk to a well-stocked grocery store. We had some very enjoyable meals at a restaurant by the harbor and also sushi near the town’s center. And then, the cats! It was so much fun getting to know them, and each of them is adorable in their own way. Kajsa, the oldest at 16 years but in great shape, is a charming lady who clearly shows when she wants to eat, go outside, or get her fur brushed. Bruno, everyone loves Bruno. He's so gentle and cuddly, taking good care of both Kajsa and Astrid - and us ;). In the evenings, he gladly jumps onto your lap to have his beautiful fur brushed. And little Astrid, full of life, joy, and playfulness! We've had so many laughs in her company and also many sweet cuddling moments. Thank you so much, Ylva and Burt, for giving us the opportunity to experience this wonderful stay.
We had a wonderful time looking after Milo and Akela. Akela is a beautiful mellow senior and Milo is a 7 week old pup that kept us busy! They have a beautiful place with Tzaddis’ mother, Cindy, who lives in a house at the back of the property. Cindy has a beautiful garden and we spent a few afternoons visiting and enjoying her company. The location is excellent for beaches, parks, and a recreational centre that we were able to play pickleball. We would recommend this housesit and definitely do it again!
Kate has a cosy home very close to the sights of Lark Lane, Sefton Park and the Festival Gardens. We had everything we needed and Kate explained the essentials of the house to us upon arrival. Communication was swift, easy and flexible. Amara is a delightful dog, she is very friendly and affectionate. A joy to have spent our time with. She was quick to trust us, always happy and wanting to play. She made walks an even more fun activity with her enthusiasm.
