You can tell these two labs have “hospitality” experience. Their tails don't stop wagging and wherever you are they want to be with you. Lolly is very much an elderly lady now but she loves her food, massages and trips around the garden. Barney is full of enthusiasm for everything so a great walking companion. Amber is such a pretty cat and I knew I’d been accepted when she jumped onto my lap after a few days. The family made us very welcome and we had a lovely time in their comfortable home in a beautiful part of the country. Thanks guys, we’d love to come back again!

Julie's place reflects LOVE.

Julie and her family are very warm, loving, and caring. You can tell this in the way that she interacts with you, and in the house itself. Everywhere you look on the walls and in the home, there are reminders of how much this family loves each other. Yes, even the house exudes Love, Warmth, and Caring.

As you can tell, I was very impressed by this.

Julie is also very thoughtful in that she made sure that we had something to eat that first morning after she left, in addition to telling us we could eat anything in the house, not just in the refrigerator. She left chocolates for us prior to the trip and brought us a little goodie from her vacation. YUM!!

Of course, we went shopping and bought our own food, but I did take advantage of some of her generosity, and left her some food items as well (which I hope they used)!

I was very impressed with her Welcome Home Guide, in the detail, it helped me figure things out.
But in addition to that, she wrote up a one-page sheet on what to do. I used this one-pager every day and will try to create one for my own home for house-sitters as well.

I was fascinated by the three fish tanks. Each fish tank had its own type of fish in it, so the instructions were slightly different. The shrimp tank was my favorite! Honestly, if it were in the living room instead of one of the bedrooms, I would have spent HOURS watching it!

The two dogs couldn't be any more different. Remy likes to boss Rosie and the two cats around, and Rosie is very laid back. We had a great time with them.

Chloe, the black cat, finally warmed up to me after I got a cat toy from the 99 cent store. Before that she just ignored me. Bunny, the grey/taupe cat, on the other hand, was always ready for a tummy scratch.

I worried a little about Rosie because of her age, but she did great and perked up after a few days.

There are two working adults and three teenage-ish boys that live here so if you are looking for a spotless VRBO or a Ritz Hotel Room, this isn't it. However, the house provided everything we needed.

If you are looking for warm and caring homeowners that you could be friends with, some wonderful fur babies to snuggle with, one of the best locations in the San Diego area, a gorgeous private pool not too far from the ocean, then this is the sit for you.

We had the most incredible house sitting experience in Seoul looking after Rebecca's adorable dog Archie!! From the get-go, Rebecca was the most amazing host, giving us so many great tips and recommendations for what to do in Seoul and clear instructions for Archie - not to mention when we arrived she had stocked the fridge for us which we were so touched by! We felt so welcome in her home and had a lovely time chatting to Rebecca throughout the sit as she is such a warm, friendly and fun person! The apartment itself is super spacious and we were so comfortable staying there, as well as all the amazing facilities such as as swimming pool!! The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring some of Seoul's funnest neighbourhoods such as Hongdae, and it was super well connected via public transport to anywhere in the city.

The best part of all was undoubtedly looking after Archie (a ridiculously gorgeous Havanese teddy bear) as he is the sweetest dog on the planet!! We fell head over heels in love with him, he is super easy-going & affectionate, cuddling up to us all the time in the apartment. He absolutely loves going for walks and any adventures and we loved seeing him jump up and down in excitement everyday - he was the best companion for exploring some of Seoul's dog friendly cafes!! We were genuinely so sad to say goodbye to Archie at the end of the sit, and are totally sold on getting our own Havanese in the future.

We can't recommend this house sit enough with Rebecca being the most amazing host and Archie being such a sweetie-pie!! We would absolutely love to look after him again whether they are in Seoul or anywhere else in the world (as Archie is a jet-setter!)
