Could Not Have Been Better In Any Way! If you ever find yourself hesitant to take that trip for fear your fur babies and home will be at risk, you're not alone. For years, I've relied on dog-sitting services to care for my much-loved, but high-needs chihuahuas only to be grossly disappointed. Not only were these services expensive, but the sitters were also sometimes unreliable and expensive. In many cases, I came home to obviously under-cared-for dogs and a home that was a disaster. I decided I couldn't travel without finding another solution. After much research, I decided to give zeewoi a try, and booked Ashley to sit for my 2 chihuahuas, both of whom fear aggression and medical issues. In the past, this has made it tricky to find sitters willing to risk getting hands bitten to win them over or administer medicine. Not Ashley! Within minutes of our meet and greet, she literally had both boys eating out of her hands and climbing into her lap. Why? As it turns out, as a bonus, Ashley is a dog trainer! While I was traveling, she made it her mission to work with my dogs to help alleviate some of the fear aggression hard-wired into them by the abuse they suffered at the hands of previous owners. I came home to much calmer boys who quite obviously love Ashley. Too, given that I was anxious to leave my boys behind, Ashley sent me frequent photos and videos so I could see firsthand just what fun was being had. I watched as Ashley walked my boys through some training activities and was amazed by their improved behavior! My home was also well-loved. In fact, it was cleaner and more organized than I left it! If you are lucky enough for Ashley to be available for your scheduled absence, book her now. As far as I'm concerned, I will schedule all my future trips around Ashley's availability - she's just that good! PS - Ashley asked permission to bring along her roommate, Atlas, and her service dog, Trooper, during her stay. I was a bit wary, given that one of my boys was nearly killed in a dog attack and I feared the addition of another new person would make my boys even more anxious about my absence. Ashley brought both to our meet and greet, and I quickly realized that having Atlas and Trooper as part of the package was a stroke of luck! Atlas got right down on the floor to play with my boys, both of which started kissing her face and begged to be petted. Trooper, as a trained service animal, never left Ashley's side, unless given the command to do so. My dog-fearing chihuahua who hasn't been near another dog without lunging since his attack 6 years ago was cuddling with Trooper in less than 15 minutes, under Ashley's watchful eye and training techniques. I won the lottery in finding Ashley!
