Tina and her dog Mandy we very open to meeting us before Tina left so that Mandy was more comfortable around us. The condo is adorable and cozy with wonderful high ceilings. It's in a great neighborhood- very safe and walkable even in the frigid December temperatures lol- and parking was readily available. Just two blocks away is Target, a grocery store, a liquor store and two Starbucks. We hope to come back to Chicago someday in warmer weather :-)
Sophi and Tom were lovely people and made me feel really at ease and gave me all the info I needed before they left. Happy to answer questions and texts while away to support me in looking after their pets. Zuko and Bumi were adorable and loved a good walk. The girls (min and trix) mainly kept to themselves but came for a bit of a stroke and attention and watched as I tried to play with them 😂 overall a nice few days and would happily sit again.
We had a fantastic ten days with Percy and Remi, whilst house sitting for Roz and James. Roz and James are so welcoming. They quickly made us feel comfortable and at home. We enjoyed a lovely meal together on our first night, before Roz gave us a thorough house tour. Everything was detailed in a useful guide, so we felt equipped with all the necessary information to take great care of Remi, Percy and the house. Thanks Roz! Remi and Percy are both wonderful. They are so well behaved, are great around other dogs and have excellent recall. This made for lots of fun on walks, with plenty of fetch and swimming in the forest. They were a joy to look after! Roz and James' home is very comfortable and has a lovely big garden backing onto fields. The easy access to Ashdown Forest (just across the road) was fantastic and we enjoyed many lovely walks exploring all corners of the forest. We were very sad to be leaving by the end of our stay and would highly recommend sitting here for anyone considering it!!
