I had a relaxing, fun stay at Brian’s conveniently located family home. Brian was easy to communicate with and very welcoming. Uisce the lab was a dream dog and I hope to see her again sometime.

Our sit for Kerrie and Alan was wonderful from the start. They kindly hosted us the night before the sit began so we had a smooth and comfortable handover, offering coffee and conversation in the morning. The house is in a wonderful location, right around the corner from famed Bondi Beach, as they mention, with the junction in the other direction for all fresh produce needs. We did not look after Leroy on this occasion, having been whisked away to join his parents on their adventure—however we were left to the pleasurable company of Aggie.

Aggie is a truly spectacular cat, having looked after and lived with plenty. She is easily the most vocal we’ve ever met, and engaged us in many chats. She is big, soft, gentle, cheeky, and (as discovered) a highly generous gift-giver, leaving a few little geckos for us here and there. Thanks Ag. We felt very comfortable looking out for her as she slept-through the mornings, sunned herself in the afternoons, and blasted through the doors on hearing the evenings biscuit rattle.

Thank you Kerrie and Alan for our first Trusted House Sitters experience, we’re so happy it was mutually positive. All the best to you all in the future xx

Katherine
As our first sit our experience could not have been better. After speaking a couple of times beforehand, and having read the very informative guide, Katherine welcomed us on arrival with a lovely meal. Her home is very comfortable with everything you’ll need, and is within walking distance of so many lovely walks. And Teddy….well, he is quite the celebrity of Whitchurch! So many people stopped to talk to him and we truly fell in love with him. He walks on a lead so well, isn’t reactive to other dogs and is super cuddly and chatty. A big thank you to Katherine, her husband Paul and beautiful Teddy for such a super time and hope to see you all again.

We had the pleasure of spending three wonderful weeks with Winnie and Pudding in their beautiful Thornbury home. Both girls, each with their unique personalities, made our petsitting experience truly delightful and memorable.

Pudding, being the elder sister, preferred cosying up on the couch or by our feet at the table over energetic walks. Her affectionate nature and love for snuggles was very endearing, especially the way she totally lights up when she gets given affection (or food)! On the other hand, Winnie, full of energy, was always ready for playtime and exploration. Both girls have unique little personalities and really kept us giggling, we shared many laughs with these lovable companions. Bec and Aidan, their owners, were super kind and left the house immaculate for our arrival, along with a veggie patch full of goodies.

While Winnie did seem to suffer from some separation anxiety during our stay, our bond quickly deepened, and she became our loyal companion, always accompanying us and overseeing the daily activities, she’s a hilarious little character and bundle of energy.

Both girls made fantastic companions, and we would be happy to petsit for them again. Thank you so much for having us, Bec and Aidan, and for your generosity!

My husband and I house sat for Cynthia and Cameron this past week at their beautiful home in Brush Prairie. What a lovely house sit!
Cameron left us with very detailed instructions on how to care for the two pups Emmie and Pepper. The dogs were absolutely adorable and loving! The venue couldn’t have been more beautiful, there are two ponds on the property and a running stream that adds to the ambience of the environment. It was so peaceful to be here after a long school year. We hardly left the house....we mostly hung out with the pups and enjoyed nature.
However, Vancouver and Portland are fairly close by if you need a short little outing. There are a number of u-pick fields and wineries close by, and I brought my bike and was able to ride along country roads for miles. A truly awe-inspiring setting.
Cameron kept in contact with us the entire stay so if we had questions he was always available. We appreciated the fact that he was so conscientious in returning our texts.
Highly recommend this house sit!!
