Piper is beyond wonderful. She agreed to a sit for January with our 2 cats before we had adopted a dog. When we informed her in October that we adopted a dog and that the dog needed some extra care, she still agreed to do the sit. We would have understood completely if she had said it was more than she had bargained for but she was kind enough not to. She arrived early so we could show her how the cats like things and about the needs of the dog. As we ran an errand before leaving, we came back to find that the dog had already bonded with her and was on her lap. Through our trip, she communicated multiple times a day with pictures. It was abundantly clear that the whole crew loved her and that the dog was getting all of the play and walk time he needed. The weather did not seem to stop her from making sure he got his steps in - and the dog needs a lot of steps! She stayed until she knew our last flight was near home again, always communicating with us in detail. We arrived to find very happy pets who did not miss us a bit and a perfectly clean and orderly house. She had also kept a log of walks, feedings, supplements, etc of everything she did for the dog, cats and even around the house which was amazing to find. She is wonderful. We would recommend her to anyone and we hope she will consider coming back if our location fits her schedule and needs.

We had an amazing stay at Brittany and Craig’s home - it felt like we were on a small farm. Quiet and cozy for a true Winter Christmas. Arriving a night early helped to learn the lay of the land, meet Remy and Rudy and understand their routine. It also included a home made dinner

Their home was spacious and had an amazing chefs kitchen, which we really appreciated since we both love to cook. The hens were so easy to take care of and even surprised us with some fresh winter eggs.

Remy was the sweetest old dog, who just enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and getting lots of cuddles. Rudy her younger brother had lots of energy and loved to play on either of the decks outside or go for some nice walks. He’s being crate trained and does a good job of using commands for treats. He’s a sweet boy with the coolest hair and with more training his high energy will settle.

Truly grateful this was our first sit and Brittany and Craig were so generous to host us for a couple extra nights as we waited to move to our next sit in Boston. We would totally sit for them again and hope our paths do cross soon.

What can I say...

First off, Bracebridge is like my second home. We had a house, just down the road from this sit 50 years ago, along the Muskoka River. So that was a bonus. My family settled there in the 1860's.

Camille and Ron have a lovely home, backing on to Muskoka River. There are great places for walks, including River trails, parks and my favourite, the walk to the falls. Downtown is quaint, but has certainly modernized in the past half decade. If you enjoy craft beer, Muskoka Brewery is an excellent choice.

Camille and Ron had their online guide set up with everything I needed. Which makes sits so much more easy to complete.

Now to the most important part... Cooper!!

Cooper was an affectionate pup and followed me everywhere. He always needed to be by my side. Each night, he was excited to go to bed and always started out at the end of the bed, but by morning he was snuggled up next to me....😆. He did not understand the concept of personal space... which made him all the more cute.

He loved going for long walks. We usually went for 3 a day.

It was very difficult to leave him. But he was too big to smuggle out in my luggage 😉.

Cooper is a very low maintenance pup. Just give him some love and attention. He will let you know if you are ignoring him.

Overall, a great sit.

Camille and Ron, thank you for entrusting me with Cooper.

What a wonderful experience to sit for Pippa and Lorenzo! Pippa is a fun and lively girl who was thrilled to show me around their Amazing neighborhood. We took many walks to the old growth park with creeks and trails and to see some of the best views of Seattle, just blocks away. Lorenzo is so cuddly and affectionate (If you'd like.) He purred me to sleep each night. I fell in Love with them both immediately.

Elizabeth is a kind, organized and gracious host, great with communicating. Their home is fun, clean and lovely. I Loved the neighborhood, so close to cafes, grocery stores, restaurants...
I highly recommend this sit! 5 stars plus all around!
