We house and pet sat for Judy recently for one month. Her two precious little mini dachshunds were very well trained and obedient. We quickly fell in love with them. They were a lot of fun, easy to bathe, and very sweet. Her outdoor cat slept in the garage where his food & water was kept, and was free to roam at his will. He was very loving so we spent some time on the front porch just petting him. As we were coming & going from the garage he also received many pets. We never heard him meow, and there was no litter to clean. Judy's location is secluded, peaceful & beautiful, but convenient for shopping. We felt very safe. There are neighbors very closeby, and they are willing to help with anything you need. If you enjoy nature , beauty, wild song birds, humming birds , butterflies, potted flowers, plants, comfortable beds, modern conveniences, and quiet loving pets, you will be at peace while sitting for Judy. We were able to explore the area, and enjoyed hiking, golf, sight seeing, waterfalls, live productions, festivals, farmers markets, and the most wonderful bakery ever!! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Karen and Ed’s lovely home. We were welcomed the day before and made to feel at home. Karen also prepared a delicious meal for us. They had a great welcome binder and easy to follow instructions for the house and care of kitty. We used “what’s app” for excellent communication and any questions we had were answered promptly.Kitty, the cat, takes two pills a day. They had everything prepared for us and we soon figured out that she was great at taking the treat wrapped pill out of our hand. Kitty took a while to warm up to us, as many cats do, but soon loved to sit and enjoy being brushed and pats. We loved the different terrain of New Mexico and enjoyed the many restaurants nearby. The tram up the nearby mountain was so exciting and the views from the top amazing. We would highly recommend this sit.
We had a wonderful stay in Cedar Key. Karen & Nigel were very welcoming, and provided all the info and support required to make the sit successful. Charlotte and Pang-Zi took a bit of time to get used to us, but then enjoyed lounging and sleeping near us, as well as being brushed and fussed over. They were super easy to care for and great company. The apartment has everything you might need for a comfy stay, and the waterfront location and beautiful and calm surroundings were lovely. We highly recommend this sit!
