Excellent pet sitter service. We used the pet sitting service while we were out of town for 5 days. Merideth took excellent care of our cat, dog, and house! She is obviously very in tune with the needs of animals. She took our dog out for long walks and sat with our cat in the house - they were obviously at ease with her. We are so thankful to have a reliable pet sitter now! Thank you, Rails & Tails!!

Rails & Tails was an absolute God-send for our family. Our puppy experienced an injury while undergoing a routine surgery, weeks before we were scheduled to go on a family vacation. Her recovery time crept into the time we were supposed to be away. Rails & Tails was able to provide their boarding service, monitoring our pup closely as she recovered. They kept in touch throughout our time away, which gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our time off. We will be using Rails & Tails time and time again when we have to board. Their level of customer service and care is like no other. Thank you for your service and taking such good care of our little girl!

We have boarded our dog with Rails & Tails LLC on two separate occasions and have been so pleased with our experiences. Our dog, Toph, can be skittish around new people and we were concerned about how she would act but Merideth has a special calm way about her that made us feel that she would treat Toph like a member of her own family and each time we picked Toph up we could tell she was well cared for. On the business side, Merideth was a pure professional communicating with us about all matters, from planning our dog's visit to updates about how our dog was getting along without us (including pictures-which our children really appreciated). We will definitely be using Rails & Tails LLC again and would recommend this company to anyone looking for care for your furry family member.

My dogs are A LOT. One is neurotic and generally not okay when his emotional support human (me) goes away. The other is all energy and a bull in a China Shop. Meredith is our go-to for all-things-pups when we travel. They adore her! I can see their goofy grins in each photo she sends me during every walk. To know that my babies are taken care of while I’m away gives me the peace of mind I need to enjoy where I am. She is the best!

Suzi is the best. Our three goldens adore her and she is so good with them and all their crazy. She gives some of the best (and funniest) daily updates and picks up on anything out of the norm. Our fur babies are our babies and I wouldn’t trust them with anyone else.

Suzi is fantastic. She is patient and kind. She won over my oldest cat which was no small feat! She's extremely dependable - especially important as I have a senior dog. I can leave the country for extended periods and never need to worry when Suzi is caring for my fur babies!

Suzi is such a good pet sitter, I was afraid my baby wouldn't want to come home. She Played his favorite music (opera) for him, sent us pictures, and even took him on a road trip for his McDoubles. in our absence.

Suzi is BEST! She has been caring for my cat Drake for over a year when I need to be away. For health reasons he has to be an only cat so I worry about him being lonely. Drake considers Suzi his girlfriend. She loves him like her own pets. They chat, watch tv, and she gives him lots of fishy treats and love. As a matter of fact she is checking in on him tonight! I never worry when I travel. I recommend her highly for the professionalism she brings to her business. I have a happy😺Cat.

Suzi is just the best! We have a rescue doggie who has had unknown traumatic experiences. She’s a very skittish and fearful dog. Suzi made friends with Dolly and gained her trust before ever taking care of her for us. Suzi’s main priority is the pet’s comfort. She came to our home for an introductory visit and walks. When a long time had passed between us needing her, she came back to get reacquainted before we left town for an overnight. Dolly trusted Suzi and they had a great time together. I received several text updates and photos. We just found out that our dog has an illness that is going to require months long treatment. I’m so grateful that we know Suzi and feel completely comfortable trusting her to follow the medication and activity schedules required. You cannot do better than Harpers Ferry Tails!

Suzi is wonderful with pets, and Is a real pro with running her pet sitting service. She was referred by several neighbors on my street who have her watch their dogs. She cared for my 3 cats while I was on vacation and they were happy and chilled out when I came home. She even connected and cuddled the cat I said would probably hide from her all week - very impressed with her ability to sweet talk them!! She came over to meet the kitties ahead of time and learn about their routine and personalities, along with how I'd like to communicate with her. She was happy to send daily updates and pix or not, depending on what I preferred. She set specific visit times and honored those. My next door neighbor told me Suzi did a great job while I was away and said 'she's the best petsitter I've seen' which is high praise from a longtime local! I think Suzi has that special energy that some people just have around animals, and it makes you know your fluffy family members are in loving hands when you're away from them. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and 6 paws up for Suzi!!

Suzi is an amazing furry babysitter. She loves animals like children and she will love yours and treat them like her own. Reliable, caring and trustworthy. We love to have our babies stay with a buddy instead of a kennel. With Suzi in home stays or sitting with your pets they won't miss you near as much when you are away. She will gladly check in on your babies during the day for potty break or just alittle romp around the neighborhood.

Suzi at Harpers Ferry Tales is the best pet sitter in West Virginia she took care of my dogs while I went to Florida for a week and I had no worries once so ever I was able to call he, she sent me pictures of her having fun with my dogs which I really appreciated. She talks to them in there language she stays over the night and when I got home it wasn't even like they even missed me they wanted to see her so if you ever looking for a dog sitter or cat sitter or animal sitter Suzi is the best.

My dog, Maggie, stayed at The Pet Companion for six nights. This was her first experience at a kennel and it was a successful one. Upon arrival I immediately got good vibes! They are strict with the drop off and pick up times to ensure the dogs get used to a schedule and have a calm environment. The Pet Companion is the only place I will ever take our dog. They’re great with him. They take time with each and every animal. When he had a partial cruciate tear in his back leg, they took him for walks instead of playing ball since he couldn’t run and jump. They take wonderful care of him while we’re away. And we really appreciate all they do for him.

The dogs went willingly with her when we dropped off and seemed super happy when we picked up. We were super nervous being our lab had a bad experience at a previous stay somewhere else. I booked our next trip for their stay with Lisa before we left.

Just stop looking and choose the Pet Companion. Lisa is by far the best pet sitting service I have ever used. One of my dogs works as a therapy dog, so I only want the absolute best for him to keep him in tip top shape for work. The first time I visited, Lisa answered all my questions and took me back into the kennels so I could feel comfortable with the lodging. She was also very thorough in making sure they had no communicable diseases, which I appreciated. I initially started using the Pet Companion only on small overnight visits, but I soon realized that my dogs were in the absolute best of hands and I have no reason for concern. I just came back from a 8 day trip out of the country and it was so lovely to know that my dogs were being pampered on their own personal vacation as well. She gives me such peace knowing she is caring for them.

I highly recommend The Pet Companion if you need to board your pup. The facility is clean and well run. The owner is fabulous! My dog recently stayed and I will definitely use this facility the next time I go out of town.

I have a 2 year old border collie and a 13 year old Chihuahua mix who love coming here! Both of my dogs have had really bad experiences at traditional daycare/boarding places where their needs we're not being met (unsupervised group play where other dogs started fights and mine were blamed, small kennels with only short 10 min walks, minimal one on one interaction) . My older dog gets very anxious when being boarded and I love that i am able to have the two of them in the same kennel so she doesn't feel so alone. The property is huge so the dogs have plenty of room to burn energy and wander around to sniff. I love that the dogs have their indoor space that is temperature controlled, but then an outdoor run so they can hang out outside if they wanted to. Whenever we drop them off they both go straight back without looking twice. I feel like her prices are fair and (unlike a lot of boarding centers) you actually get what you pay for in the quality of care Lisa provides. We make about a 45 minute drive out, but it's worth it having the peace of mind that Lisa takes such good care of them when we travel and they have a great time. I can't reccomend the pet companion enough!!!!

We have been taking our two dogs to Pet Companion for years. Lisa takes good care of them. She is very caring and attentive to our dogs. They really like going to visit her and get excited every time we drive up. She has a nice large fenced exercise area and clean modern kennel units which have separate inside and outside areas. They get a lot of exercise and it’s an stress-free place for them. I recommend Pet Companion for a nice safe local place for dogs.

We used Furry Friends to take care of our 3 draft horses while my husband recovered from hip surgery. Harriet was wonderful taking care of our Belgian and two Percherons, all pasture horses that towered over her! She was very reliable and on time, which was important for us since if our Belgian gets too hungry he breaks a fence board to reach more grass! Our three dogs got to know Harriet very well too, and I know that they will be well taken care of next time we go away. You can tell that Harriet is good with animals and she enjoys her job. In addition, my interactions with Lydia, the owner of Furry Friends were both pleasant and professional. After struggling for several years, I am glad we found a reliable option for our pet care needs.

Furry Friends Pet Care came to our house for a week to feed and love on our ridiculous number of animals. We got daily check ins from Lydia and Harriet along with pictures of our pets so we always knew things were good. While it was clear that the animals were glad to see us when we got home, it was also abundantly clear that they had been well taken care of. 10/10 will call again!

Shout out to Furry Friends of Lovettsville! They responded to my emergency request to care for my puppy today and I was sooo thankful. Harriet was accommodating to Gus’ needs with the treats, leash, water bottle, food- everything! Highly recommend.

We have been taking our dog to VIP for ~8 years and we wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else. We were initially referred to VIP by our dog’s veterinary behavioralist after trying multiple Arlington based dog daycare and boarding facilities didn’t work out. Those facilities didn’t have the space or the ability to specialize in our dog’s care. VIP, on the other hand, has taken flawless care of her, her many medications and peculiarities, and they constantly show us how much they love her and understand her behaviors and preferences. What really stands apart is their duty of care. During a recent stay, our dog needed an emergency vet visit and they managed it all. They contacted all of our emergency contacts when they couldn’t reach us, took her to a vet the owner takes her own pets to, and let us speak directly with the vet to understand what was going on. That’s stellar care. Our dog is fine, healthy, and happy but if we couldn’t be with her ourselves in a moment like that where her health was in question, I’m so glad she was with them. We have and would gladly refer friends and family to them. VIP and especially Shay and Suzanne are THE BEST. When we drop our dog off with them we know she is happy and safe.

We have really enjoyed taking our girl Xoe for doggie day care here. Love the country setting! Disappointed that daycare has now ended but they still provide boarding services.

VIP is great. They love our dog like their own. Give updates when needed and have been accommodating for a few last minute schedule changes. Our dog always comes home happy.

I can't say enough about this kennel....if my Boxer Scout could talk she would tell you that the people that took care of her for a week were Wonderful!! Even have a play date with a pool and ice cream....This is the Only place I would leave my Dog!!

I cannot speak highly enough of VIP. The staff is beyond excellent! I needed to reserve transportation and day care for my puppy due to some training that I needed to attend. Sharon is wonderful. I have a 100lb rescue who was abused before coming to our home. Sharon has taken special care to help our Trooper adapt to her being around and walking him. He is super excited when she comes and it's clear he has learned to trust her. I love that she has been so patient and reassuring with him. Her handling is certainly part of his growth. We are so glad to have found her.

Sharon does a wonderful job with our sometimes stubborn walker! She ensures he gets the much needed attention and outdoor time on days we are away at work. She does a good job working with his capabilities and attitude on a given day which might be more ball time in the backyard versus a long walk. She is also very attentive to our dog's needs and makes sure to refill his water. Sharon has been great at accommodating our irregular schedules, and is a great communicator. We always receive a confirmation so we know we are on the schedule and receive cute photos and updates from each visit. We highly recommend Sharon to anyone in the area!

She has never been left for more than 6 hrs. So, leaving her for a few days was both new to us & her. Sharon, Mitch & family did an amazing job. Sharon, Mitch and their family did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, 2 cats, 10 chickens and watering the garden while on our family vacation. We hired Sharon to take care of our cats when were out of state for the weekend, and she did a great job! We absolutely love Loudoun Pet Sitting Company! We have been using them for about a year and half to walk our lovable chocolate lab who needs a lot of exercise and physical activity. April is our regular dog walker and we are so grateful for her; she is the best! She takes Reilly on power walks which he loves. Her and Reilly have a great bond and he eagerly waits for her by the door in the morning and greets her with a toy in his mouth. She is punctual, courteous and so personable. Loudoun Pet Sitting has been invaluable to us over the past several years! They are an amazing, kind and loving team of doggie caregivers! They, including April, reliably cared for our 2 older girls (until they passed) with multiple visits, walks, overnight sitting and administering numerous medications. Since the arrival of our puppy last February, April has lovingly cared for her and my son's puppy many times, including overnight sitting. April is always quick to respond, works hard and is flexible to meet any scheduling needs! She is dependable, kind, caring and we know our sweet pups are getting the best care ever!

I work in animal protection and crisis response so I often have to travel with short notice. I could not be more grateful to have The Loudoun Pet Sitting company looking after my animals. Jane has been our pet sitter and she is amazing! I have many different types of animals from a dog to a turkey that lives in my house! Jane is wonderful with everyone. The hardest thing about my work is leaving my animals, often for weeks at a time. Now that Jane takes care of everyone, I feel some relief when I leave! Since I travel internationally, I need a company and a pet sitter that I can trust and that I know my animals feel comfortable with. The pictures and updates from each visit help while I’m away too! I’ve had some crazy travel situations (especially in the last year with Covid) and the one thing I don’t have to worry about is care for my animals - I couldn’t do the work that I do without Jane and The Loudoun Pet Sitting Company! Pet & Home Care did such a wonderful job in taking care of our older mixed Malti-poo Taco, and sharing with us how he was doing each day, the other dogs he was playing with and how his time was there at their lovely kennel. Took my elderly mother to California for about a week and had them watch her cocker spaniel. They were so sweet to send pictures and videos of him so I could show my mom that her fur baby was doing good. Have been bring our dogs here for a few years and my parents have been boarding their animals here for probably 10 years. The owners are always nice and the kennels are well kept!

We have used tender loving pet care for a while now. Our boxer is getting up there in age, but she loves coming here and is always taken care of. The owners are very accommodating whenever possible if we have a change of plans and need to change schedule. I would recommend this place to anyone!

When we were out of town for more than three days, we would always have Urbana Pet Care to take care of our two cats. The sitter would help to change water, clean the litter, play with our cats, and send us photos. The sitter was really responsible and provided great service!

Best pet-sitting service ever! We were not satisfied with our previous pet sitter and were reluctant to try another. I then browsed the website Yelp and found Urbana Pet Care, which was highly recommended. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We just had our first pet sitting engagement with Urbana Pet Care last month. The staff showed genuine concern and care towards my pet, which in turn made me feel more comfortable having them take care of my pet. Rice was amazing with our cat Catty and texted detailed updates with pictures every day to us, making sure that we were at ease. It's always great to get updates about your pet while you are away. We were very pleased once again with Urbana Pet Care, and would certainly recommend them based on our experience.

I have used Urbana Pet Care for a few months to take care of our two doggies🐕🐕 when we go out of town. We always have someone from the Urbana team stay at our house so we don't mess with their routine. Recently we went on a 2 week cruise to Italy, France and Germany and left our pups to the sitter Rice. He emailed us pictures of the pups having fun and laying around every day, letting me know how my doggies did in their daily walk😊. I also appreciate that my home alarm system is always reset properly and the door locked every day. Makes me feel safe knowing Urbana is responsible for both my pet and my home. My neighbor also recently told me that she saw my dogs out with her new walker the other day and my doggies looked like they were having a great time🎉🎉🎉👍! Thanks! We started using Urbana Pet Care’s midday dog walking service two years ago so our dog can take a bathroom break everyday while we are at work. The team has been doing great ever since! The walks are always on time and the walker is really friendly - my buddy loves her! And when there is an emergency, the team always has back up. Recently we went on vacation and were unable to bring our dog. So instead of boarding, I tried their in home pet sitting service for my dog and to take care of my cat also. It was great, I received pictures and updates from every visit so I didn’t have to worry while on vacation. Overall, they always keep us updated, are very efficient at communicating, and are a very nice team to work with. Highly recommended!

We requested cat pet sit service during our vacation time. We receive a video or image update for each visits and the sitter follows the instructions carefully. Everything went well and they deserve a 5 star rate! I will be back in touch for my next trip with Urbana Pet Care.

Top-notch pet care!🎁 I was soooooo lucky to meet Urbana Pet Care, the best pet sitter I have found in the area, hands down. I have a British Shorthair & also several cats.🐱 The cats are strictly indoor & my biggest fear is that they will somehow get out while the front door is being opened/closed, as they are curious creatures. But Urbana Pet Care exceeded my expectations and took great care of my kitty every time. My little puppy always seemed happy when I would come back from my works or trips, which is proof that the pet care specialist would actually take the time to play with her, to brush her and give her attention. I can't recommend Urbana Pet Care enough if you're looking for a great cat sitter or dog walker with reasonable rates who will give you peace of mind!👍👍👍

Rice to the rescue!! We had to leave town overnight without notice and worried as we have a little dog 🐶that we were not willing to leave with strangers or in a cage at some boarding facility. We asked our friend and he recommended Urbana to us. We then called Urbana and asked if there was any way they could help. 📲A few minutes later, Rice, the owner, was on the phone and even insisted on driving us to and from the airport. ✈️ Rice welcomed our doggie into his own home 🏠and sent us updates and pics every few hours. So incredibly relieved to have been able to tend to an emergency without having the stress of worrying about our little one!🆒 I am thrilled with Urbana and will definitely offer a recommendation to anyone with pets. 🤩🤩Rice and his team have done a wonderful job. They love animals, and they know how to take care of the things you'll be worried about before you even get a chance to worry!👏
