Watching Paris was a treat. The place was better than advertised, as there's a new finished basement that opens up to the lake. It's a quiet, remote area, with a small town nearby for any needs you may need and fast Wi-fi if you need to work. Jill was quick to reach and respond with any questions we had and flexible with our travel plans. Paris is a wonderful dog. She's great in the car, as we took her on hikes with us that were around 2 hours away and to Greenville for a day-trip. She loves cuddling at night when watching television, but also loves a long walk/hike and some attention during the day. Overall, I highly recommend this sit and would do it again!
We loved our stay in Richelieu!! Dawn and Ross were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Their home is beautiful and charming as is the town of Richelieu, and all of their pets have exceptional personalities. Bella and Jasper get very excited for their morning walk and otherwise are happy to lie in the yard, by the fire or spend a couple hours in their kennel if you are wanting to explore. Richelieu has lots of character. We enjoyed riding bikes and hanging out in the town square, though the quiet atmosphere is definitely more suited towards 2 sitters than 1. Overall we loved our stay :) Thank you Dawn and Ross (and friends)!
We were lucky enough to sit for Melissa and Sean for almost 2 weeks and can’t recommend this sit highly enough. Buster and Stan are such cool dogs to spend time with. We loved getting to know their individual personalities. What they have in common is that they are both complete gentlemen, very well behaved, love a bit of playtime tug/chase around the house, and partial to cuddles! We miss them! Melissa and Sean were brilliant. Really helpful and welcoming throughout. Before leaving they took the time to give us a thorough run through of the place, show us the local walks, and give us restaurant recommendations (despite being busy). And they checked in through the sit to make sure everything was going ok. Finally the house is beautiful and in a great location. Really close to the tube, supermarket, pubs and green space. We would come back again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Melissa and Sean!
The dogs, Buddy and Digby, are wonderful! They are very playful and affectionate and a joy to look after. They walk well on lead and we're well behaved when outside with excellent recall. Sarah was very friendly and communicative.
Fabulous hosts! We had a very enjoyable week at Branwen and Matts lovely home (despite all the rain!), set above Trechory with great views of the surrounding hills. Their home is bright, warm and immaculately clean. Communication with Branwen was excellent from the start and we continued to keep in touch in the run up and during the sit. They gave us a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable and at home immediately. Tibbs is a delight to care for; very easygoing and straightforward. As long as she has a lap to sit on and food in her bowl she’s a happy kitty. The house is within walking distance to a supermarket and the main high street has an excellent selection of shops, providing everything you’d need during your stay. There are also some wonderful walks directly from the house, taking you up through forest and onto open moorland. 100% recommend and would love to do a repeat visit in future.
Eric and Carol were very gracious hosts and the kitties Callie and Jackson were very cuddly and didn’t take long to warm up to me. They were quite easy to take care of with an automated cat door and automated cat food feeder. The house was very comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. A bus stop for Intercity Public Transit is just around the corner which is extremely convenient and busses are FREE to ride in Olympia - that’s right , no need for bus fare. Just get on and go.! This was a very nice sit for 2 very nice people and I would be happy to do it again!
